  1. Adam, thanks again for running a great event. I had an awesome time, looking forward to CaptainCon!
  2. I'm a day late, but I promise I finished in time! Decided to play more Malifaux rather than blog about it. http://thereforthenoise.blogspot.com/2015/03/a-day-late-but-not-dollar-short-tomb2.html Got 3 games in this month, looking forward to the same next month.
  3. They do not, as they are "head markers" rather than "scheme markers". Same goes for a "claim marker" as used in Stake a Claim. Also- good luck at the tournament!
  4. The issue with that is sometimes players give zeros for sportsmanship knowing that it factors in the overall rankings. Knock down everyone they play against to make their own placing better.
  5. I'm in. I'll be playing those filthy, filthy, gremlins, starting with the So'mer box. http://thereforthenoise.blogspot.com/2015/01/tale-of-malifaux-bloggers-pt-1.html
  6. Some places are, some places are not. For example, The Warstore has the box in stock but Miniature Market does not. I'd check with whatever retailer you are ordering from and see if they have a date for their boxes.
  7. Whenever I see Dashel and his 2 riflemen buddies I know I have to engage that group with something or my models will evaporate. He's a one trick pony, but man, is it a good trick.
  8. It is time to walk around, explore, and recover from last night's hangover due to playing drunken board games at 4 am.
  9. Big thanks to Ian and Brad for organizing and running this great event! Glad to see such a great turnout and all the support for a great cause.
  10. Thanks Matt! The cacti are from Pegasus Hobbies, I got them on Ebay but I see the War Store has them as well. I'm sure a few other places have them too.
  11. I think 2 might have their uses in some recon scheme pools. Im definitely going to need a second watcher, though. Maybe a separate release?
  12. The mat is extremely durable. The canvas back adds enough strength that the caulking on top won't tear when pulled. The caulking itself is durable on its own, it doesn't flake or peel from the canvas. Even with rough handling I can't see this mat tearing. I don't think using heavyweight canvas would add a lot of durability, I'd say it has enough with just the normal weight canvas. I don't know how well adding sand/flock to the mat would work. I'd experiment with texturing the caulk with a variety of materials, and replicating the snow effect through paint first.
  13. Thanks Nikko! The buildings are made from pieces of 2x4 lumber, cut into lengths and glued 2 blocks high. The outsides were textured with balsa wood. Rocks are made from pine bark nuggets. Cacti are readily available from Pegasus Hobbies. I picked mine up on EBay.
