  1. I agree with zfiend, Shikome is my go to summon most games. Then it depends on cards and schemes, I like Night Terrors for harassing, so I tend to max them out as soon as possible. The Hanged is fine, but not fit to my strategies and plans, because I preffer close combat and engaging my opponent despite being killed. The Drowned is good for droping scheme markers and when there is a need for one more, they can be handy. Rest of the spirits is up to your taste, Onryo can be really killy sometimes...
  2. Hi, and welcome back. I can only speak as a Kirai player, but you are almost ready to play her to full potential. The most crucial model you are missing is Izamu, the Armor. That thing is just a beast of a spirit with all the moving and buffing shenanigans Kirai offers. Her playstyle is variable, which is good, so it is hard to tell you, how to play her well, because she is open to many uses and strategies. Her spirit crew is balanced and very rarely needs some nonspirit assistance, maybe Rotten Belles, Yin or Toshiro if they suit your plan. And yes, get at least 3 Seishin, they appear as fast as they die. I prefer Kirai as a summoner factory for first 2 - 3 turns and then a nukker eating her seishin for some Ca 8 Sundering, but I am sure there are many more succesfull playstyles. Hope my lines were of some help.
  3. What model is used for that big pig on the right? Thanks!
  4. What about these gals? http://www.waylandgames.co.uk/zenit-miniatures/kensei/hell-creatures/shikome/prod_22224.html
  5. Spooky Hag. Well, there are some interesting things in your list. Firstly, Unforgiven and Bloody Shears are Limited upgrades, so you can only have one attached at a time. Secondly, and maybe this is difference in playstyles, you lack numbers, I tend to outactivate my opponent any time possible, so I run some Night Terrors any Gaki. As you have said, Shikome are great, but I found them to be too valuable in combat, that I commit them to "lesser" roles only when necessary. For scheme running I like Gaki with there high defense that deters some shooting... I like taking some bruiser with Kirai - Izamu (preferably) or Toshiro instead of Hanged as they can be summoned with a soul stone and a 13. While I quite like Kirais avatar, I think that her unmanifested ability = Unstinctual seems perfect for her and I would hesitate to manifest her so early, maybe in third or fourth turn? Bad draws happen and there is little you can do about it, only thing that might mitigate that is having a helthy soul stone pool to start, then you can spend one to add positive flips and second on right suit. I sometimes find this investment a necessary evil that can save my plans. I have been playing Kirai to some good results and had fun, but despite being less complex to play than in last edition, she is still quite difficult to master... More than anything she is really about careful positioning when summonig every spirit including seishin. The positive thing is, she can accomplish many roles and her crew can be tweaked to many styles, so find the one that suits you and tear the souls of your enemies apart.
  6. Hi, what about Shikome? They ignore armour with their built-in trigger, plus are quite killy... And maybe Datsue Ba, if you need more?
