Simplegreen ruined half of my Gremlin Collection, I will now need to replace them all (retailing for about 170$), this is so frusterating to me because I have heard nothing but good things about simplegreen, but when I used it it broke nearly every miniature, and it still had large chunks of paint all over it (I had it in the bucket for a week as reccomended for plastic), these are all the miniatures destroyed in the incident: Som'er Ophelia Wong (I'll Just buy the Box for that one) Zoraida Voodoo Doll 2 Skeeters 8 Bayou Gremlins Lenny Raphael Francois Whisky Golem (Limited Edition) 2 Slophaulers Gracie Burt Jebsen

I have always assumed start, like for reckless with gremlins you have to suffer a damage once you activated.

a little bit of both, Neverborn has a lot of incredibly powerful masters, I find them and ressers to have some of the strongest masters in the game.

the major running theme for gremlins is they take damage to do extra things, which in most cases is extra AP or extra damage (they have a bit of a racial bonus VIA reckless and dumb luck), they are also concidered fast compaired to other factions so they are good for running for objectices, there major downfall mostly lies in their poor willpower, if they see something scary, chances are they are going to get spooked. another bonus to playing gremlins is you can run Zoraida and still get all the swamp beasties your heart desires.

hello and welcome to the Bayou! looks like you have a solid start there, I personally dont really play the gremlin factory list as I find it very boring and not all that strong compared to a more elite, in your face with his boomstick approach, thats just my personal preference though, try different things and see what works for you, in fact, I dont really field bayou gremlins too often at all, or Lenny for that matter, Lenny is just so expensive and I prefer our beatsticks over the bayou gremlin, while they are cheap, it definitely shows why in their stat line. anyways good luck!

I listed 12 Gremlins because a lot of som'er players enjoy the summoning portion of his kit, I honestly dont take it too often but its a popular way to play him. as for Gracie it really depends on what schemes and strats you flip, I like her with the saddle so I usually take her when I want to be somewhere fast.

I think hes boring, the overall gremlin heme is killing stuff and the brewmaster doesnt exactly do that.

Burt, The Kin crew, Slop haulers, 2 more boxes of boys (12 is kind of the sweet spot) and whenever they come out rooster riders are also a nice addition.

theres a few things missing from Gremlins, Mah is missing Out for Blood and Trixiebelle can't take upgrades at all, thats all I have picked up so far otherwise its looking good!

in no particular order for me: Bayou Gremlins (they are going to die, often, but they will almost always make their points back) Burt Jebsen (has some serious damage output at ranged and melee, and can potentailky dish out 6 shots, especailly when hanging out with Som'er) Slop Haulers (one of the best healers in the game with a great offencive ability as well) Raphael (the Gremlin "tank" who gets nastier the closer he is to death) Trixiebelle (Iniative manipulation, a solid ranged attack via upgrade and almost impossible to kill)

1. there are a few to pick from, just type out malifaux podcast in google and pick the one that appeals to you the most. 2. as for whats coming out next, the simple answer is the rest of wave 1 and the start of crossroads (including the gencon goodies) 3.seeing as you would edit out the adult themed content, I would say malifaux would be better to teach, I play both and love both but I do find Malifaux more straight forward, the card flipping mechanic is easier to determine stat differences than dice rolling, and as for faction, the guild? kids love cowboys, or at least I knew I did. anyways welcome through the breach human, we gremlins hope to take your clothes and your shinies soon!

if you go Som'er at least buy another box of gremlins, I personally reccomend 12 minimum but thats just me if you go Ophelia I reccomend burt, as he adds some fun options to an already great shooting list either way I reccomend slop haulers, as these are the guys your going to be running in the majority of your lists (except swamp fiend zoraida but that shouldnt matter to you right now)

did you say most of your golem? they are rare 1 what could you possibly need more than one for? anyways, my Gremlin on the swing unfortunately commited suicide so I am the wrong person to ask.

I almost auto include burt in all of my lists, hes a fun model, dunno about Lenny with love it and pet it in this particular list.

from the looks of things it is easy assembly all around.

I like to give her Family tree with Som'er that way the big man isn't tied down to summoning gremlins.

I personally own 6 but that is probably more than enough haha.
