Good Day all, in light of the GG '18 beta going on our community thought there was no better way to get in a lot of test games than to hold an event! While this is somewhat short notice we will be hosting a GG '18 test event at Terracrux games in Tacoma WA Saturday Sept. 23rd. We will be playing 50ss games using the latest version of GG '18 available at the time. There are no painting requirements and Wave 5 / Broken Promises stuff is most certainly allowed. As a bit of a break from the usual tournaments we run this event is going to have a slight narrative / escalating encounter style to it. Entry fee: $10 to go back out in prizes There are NO painting requirements for this event This is a single Faction event Round 1 will be a Henchman Hardcore round; rules for this format can be found at https://www.wyrd-games.net/malifaux-resources/ under organized play and will also be attached to the event. Definitely this...the game will always have some balance issues(either big or small) and I would much rather we were able to acknowledge that and change the cards rather than trying to constantly patch them with new releases. And it cases like Tara it cleans up so many confusing rules and makes it fit the infiltration pattern already in game. Overall I'm super pumped for this format

Hi all, so a wierd situation came up in my community this past weekend between an Outcast player and a Kirai crew. The Outcast player had Taelor activate, put up "Welcome to Malifaux" and then charge Lost Love. The first charge attack hit lost love and did some damage, he then summoned Ikiryo into base contact with Taelor. At this point, as she was summoned, Taelor charged Ikiryo. A couple questions about this situation. 1. Could the Taelor have charged Ikiryo since since was in base contact(I know WtM allows you to charge while engaged but I don't know if you have to "move" to successfully charge) 2. Could the two charge attacks be interrupted by a new charge or does she not get to charge since she is in the middle of resolving her charge? 3. If this happens what happens to Taelor's 2nd charge attack on Lost Love, is it done before the charge, after the Ikiryo charge, is it lost all together? Thanks in advance, it's definitely not a situation we have had before and it seems really corner case but important.

Happy new year all! I have finally completed my Marcus crew, they were a blast to paint and overall I am really pleased with how they came out. The only area I am still not happy with is Myranda's skin but it got close enough for Jazz in this case. I am still having issues working out the best ways to photograph the models and while I have decent ones of all the individual crew have been unable to get a quality group shot so any suggestions and advice on photo taking would be most appreciated. Otherwise I am as always open to any comments, critiques or random musings about the crew. Enjoy! (I apologize if this shows up twice, the first time I submitted didn't seem to go through) Good Day all! I have always found the rules to Malifaux fascinating but in 1.0 did not find many of the models that attractive(the Kearis box set being a big exception) making it hard to get into the game. With the advent of 2.0 and the new plastic sets my opinion has GREATLY shifted; the new sculpts are some of my favorite models out there and are a blast to paint and so begins what I hope is a long journey into the world of Malifaux. I have always loved the Arcanist fluff and rules and thus I begin my collection and journey there my first completion has been the Raspy box set. While I am not the best painter by any means I feel they came out well and am always open to comments and critiques(also my picture skills are not great so any advice on that would be most appreciated) Thanks and I hope you enjoy them!
