  1. Sounds great, we might have to do check that out! Yes, Titan Moon is up in Cedar Park. They do seem more focused on CCGs more than anything else, especially Magic and Star Wars: Destiny. My favorite spot to play miniatures (mostly Warmachine/Hordes) used to be Tenth Planet in Cedar Park, but alas, they are no more.
  2. Does that mean the other player keeps taking turns and I keep skipping turns, until if/when my models manage to become unburied?
  3. Those are the two very stores I checked today. Also, Titan Moon which doesn't seem to carry any. So where do you normally buy Malifaux products? I don't even see much online at Miniature Market, Amazon, etc.
  4. I went around town today (Austin, TX) and checked several game stores. Most had either no Malifaux or only 1-2 boxes and nothing more. And I'm having trouble finding sellers online. Is this normal for this game?
  5. What happens when all your remaining models are buried? Does the game end? I couldn't find anything in the rule book.
  6. I'm new to Malifaux and I'm having trouble finding online retailers that sell some Malifaux products, except for second-hand sellers that jack up the prices way too high. For example, I'm looking for the Guild crew box for Lucius, but it seems to be out of stock almost everywhere. Do the models go out of print as newer waves come out, or are they supposed to be in print indefinitely? I'm not sure what's going on.
  7. Thanks, everyone! I ordered 3 starting boxes (for myself and my two kids), one set each of Buildings and Streets, some Fate decks, and I even managed to find a 2E rulebook in stock. Can't wait for it to come in!
  8. They seem to have some on Game On Games: http://gameongames.com/store/gift-certificates/malifaux-2nd-edition-rulebook-detail
  9. Cool, I've been leaning toward both the Building and Streets. Also, I notice some box sets are mixed factions, like "Arcanist/Ten Thunders Box Set". I haven't read the rules yet, but is faction mixing allowed, unlike Warmachine?
  10. Thanks! This really helps. Any advice on the terrain?
  11. I've never played Malifaux, but I'd like to give it a try. I've played Warmachine and Hordes for a few years, plus a ton of other non-tapletop games. I'm finding it a little difficult to find definitive information on what to start with. 1. I see there's a 1E and 2E. I'm assuming I should start with 2E. But it doesn't look like all the factions have starter boxes for 2E. One that caught my eye was "Ten Thunders", for example. Can these still be used? If so, where do I get the 2E cards for the models? 2. Which starter boxes (either 2E or 1E+2E cards) are good choices to start with? 3. Also, regarding terrain. I was looking at the WorldWorks terrain packs. Which one is a good one to start with? 4. Besides a starter box, terrain, and the 2E rule book, what else would I need? I already have things like random tokens and tape measures. Thanks for any help anyone can provide!
