  1. This is one of the very, very few times when I regret my complete lack of Facebook presence.
  2. This came up over the weekend. We know that any action with a target requires LoS to the target. Baby Kade's Tactical Action "Where's Teddy" doesn't seem to specify that you're targeting Teddy, though. Is it that simple? No use of the word "target," so no LoS required?
  3. Hi folks, My Neverborn are heading to Adepticon for the 2 singles events, but I'd really like to get in on one or the other of the team events as well. Anyone interested in participating? I'm willing to attempt to bring cake from California. --Janthkin
  4. Really looking forward to these events (though it's a very strange feeling to be heading to Adepticon for something other than 40k). Because I am quite new to Malifaux, I don't know the popular gathering spots. I'm trying to find potential teammates for either team event (though bringing a cake from California is a little problematic...); any suggestions on where to look?
  5. Thanks; we had wondered if we missed something somewhere. Seemed a little counter-intuitive for this particular scenario.
  6. This came up in my very first game, and I couldn't find a good answer in the rules (which isn't to say that it's not there). Scenario: Active model uses an Attack Action with a Target Number (say, CA 5, TN 10, Def WP). Attacker flips a "3"; defender (WP 5) flips a "2". The rules tell us that, in an opposed duel, the model with the lower value has to choose to Cheat first. So it looks like the Defender has to choose whether or not to cheat, on an attack that is currently failing?
  7. Thanks for the info, and sorry if it's a sore topic for some. My wife & I are trying to learn the game prior to February & the tournament at the Las Vegas Open, and time is precious.
  8. Would-be new player here. My local gaming stores show the M2E rulebook as "out of print" with a restock date at the end of January. That seems a little nuts to me - is there something up with the print run?
