  1. There's some synergy with Kastore, esp awakened. Obvious one is the heal. The crew also has a lot of incidental scheme marker drops which can be moved by batsch or made into severe terrain to get + flips on the mushroom cloud. It's also resisted by mv so good synergy with dominate (staggered) and with the enthrall trigger kastore can clump up enemy models to hit more models with mushroom clouds blast.
  2. I don't know if the interaction with barbaros works that way, since his broodfighter ability is kinda weirdly worded. My take is that he only gets to move a friendly if he overheals from brood fighter which only occurs at the start of his activation. It's kinda odd and it would be more synergistic if it would proc any time he overheals... He gives a lot of movement turn 1 nonetheless. Since shove aside is built in and works on friendlies he can activate, push one model 2", swing at Marathine for 4" push on Mara and himself then swing again or on Kastore2 for another 4" and overheal for another 2" on Kastore.
  3. What about the Comfortable Hat Upgrade from white Rabbit Co? It states "this models controller and friendly models may treat this model as a scheme marker." Could the model score the first point of breakthrough by himself just by standing in the enemy DZ?
  4. I also really like grimwell with lucius 2. I feel like you can put a lot of hand pressure on the opponent between Scribe aura, grimwell and executes from agent and Alan. In my last games with him I included agent, grimwell, lone Marshal, doppleganger and a lawyer and Grimwell always either killed a key model of my opponent or depleted their hand to setup the executes. I thought about including a Riflemen for long range executes from agent and a doppleganger since you can make sure to get the right suit with lucius scheme marker. Although that might be a little gimmicky.
  5. Especially with titles incoming I think you will have everything covered. McMo2 looks really interesting BTW, so his 2 versions can cover a lot of schemes and strats by himself... (themselves?).
  6. I unfortunately don't have that many Guild models and I opted to take mainly in Keyword models to get a basic overview of Hoffman. Yeah I think Search the Ruins would've been a better choice. Which models would you recommend for Detonate?

Tried Hoffman for the first time today with the following List against Sandeep: New Charles Hoffman Crew (Guild) Size: 50 - Pool: 5 Leader: Charles Hoffman Totem(s): Mechanical Attendant Hires: Peacekeeper Guild Steward Melissa K.O.R.E. Watcher Hunter Guardian Strat was Idols, Schemes were: Vendetta, Assassinate, Search the Ruins, Deliver a Message and Detonate Charges. We did just get to Turn 4, I scored 2 Idols and 2 Vendetta (Hunter vs Shasta Vidia Guard) and he got 1 Search, 1 Deliver a Message and 2 Idols so we ended up 4v4. The Guardian and Peacekeepers where the MVPs for me. Although both are quite slow they packed one hell of a punch. The Guardian in particular guarded one idol Marker on my opponents half and scored me the 2nd Idol VP. It was a really close game, he managed to get his 2nd Idol VP in his last activation. Otherwise I would've gotten the 3rd VP. I think Deliver a Message was a bad 2nd Scheme for me although I don't think the others would've been better. Which Scheme would you guys choose in this Pool?

  9. Hi fellow Wyrdos. If I exceed my maximum hand size and have to discard Cards, does the acting Model discard the Cards or the Player? To make it more specific: I activate Molly and have max hand size. I now take the Lost Knowledge Action to draw 2 Cards and discard down to my max hand size. Does this discard Trigger Molly's Fading (Memories) Ability?

  12. What do you guys think of Jakuuna? She seems like a good model with stat7 Lure and Hazardous especially with the healing support a Urami Crew can bring. Opinions?

  14. Hey guys! I have a question regarding the Evasive Skill of the Steam Arachnids in realtion to Mollys "The Ones Left Behind". Am I right in the assumption, that the damage part of "The Ones Left Behind" is not caused by the effect but rather by the TN 15 WP duel, which means the Steam Arachnid can get damaged by "The Ones Left Behind"? Same case with the Punk Zombies "Slice & Dice"? Or is this false and the damage is part of the and the Steam Arachnid is immune to it? Thanks for the help.

  17. Basically what Anaxiamander said. Nico and Molly will be your best bet here. Although I can see the Student of Sinew work decently with McMourning. You'd have to run them both as a "hunting pack". Give McM the Moonlighting Upgrade which turns enemies into Undead and see the Student chopping with :+fate and Terrifying. Not the best synergy, but it is one. Val is a pretty nice mobile Melee Hench which doesnt have too many synergies with the Masters but can instead do stuff on her own. Let some Belles get an enemy out of position and the Val mobs up the isolated target. Hope I could help.
  18. If you want to summon a Rogue Necro I recommend taking the "Spare Parts" Upgrade out of Wave 2. It lets you summon Guild Autopsies or the RN with full health (although you'll need 4 CCs for the RN). You should really try to get a Hanged up for your Games. (1)Whispers from Beyond is so good against Nekima, she wont heal anything back up when hit by it unless your opponent has something to strip Conditions from models. Furthermore their Terror shennanigans should do wonders against the low WP Lilith. Although situational dont forget about Nicos Embrace Death which makes your summoning way easier (although it'll cost you your precious CCs). Can you write up your lists and the list of your opponent for us? Hope I could help a little.
