  1. Back in M1e there was a painting log with gremlins with human skin colour. Really disturbing, but looked great! On my phone right now, but if you look through really old painting logs on here (probably pre 2015) you'll likely find it. Lots of good old stuff on here in general (look up Mako's log for instance!)...
  2. I'd go with extra thin poly cement. Great match with fiddly plastics! I really like the Tamiya brand Extra Thin bottle, as it has a really pointy and nice glue brush in the cap. However I prefer the Tamoya Limonene glue, as it's cconsiderably less smelly and headache-inducing, and supposedly a lot safer as well. So I've bough quite a few of each over the years, and use the green cap from the regular "Extra thin" in place of the orange cap from the Limonene-based version... Also handy to have a bottle of superglue handy. Plastic glue is ususally superior, but sometimes there are gaps that could need filling with small joints, or something comes loose while the glue sets. Sometimer it's impossible to get a smooth surface to glue together with plasti cement, and then thin superglue is my best bet. Any brand should be fine, as long as you don't get a gel version most should be pretty much pure cyanoacrylate anyway...
  3. Still got it? How much is shipping to Norway? I'm in the marker for å ressurectionist and neverborn faction box, and I need to order anyway, so there will be some shipping costs anyway...
  4. Being early is never about getting your order first, it's about getting an order in of limited availability stuff before current stock run out. Wyrd have stated several times over the years that it's not efficient to sort shipments by order number, so they will be shipped more or less randomly. But the later you place an order the higher the risk of something having run out...
  5. https://www.waylandgames.co.uk/the-guild/65955-brutal-fate It has apparently hit at least some distributors, but seems like demand once again is bigger than supply...
  6. Because these where pre-releases during GenCon... Also, eBay says game stores have started to receive at least some of the books...
  7. We've seen renders suggesting they have designed a lot already. The issue is probably how much capital to sink into molds, as that gets expensive fast. I'm struggling to buy as many wyrdscapes building as I want due to the price tag, but man are the ones I've got awesome. Really wish they could release the whole tableworth, but I'd probably take a few years to complete a set...
  8. No offence, but I hope you're the idiot and someone can explain how; will be putting these together sometimes this week, and I've been putting them off so far... 😉

  10. Don't have anything specific, but have a look at the Bushido range. Should be something similar in that range. Might not be a perfect fit, but should be close enough to avoid confusion...
  11. New sword for Francisco, new watchers, additional pose for hunters and maybe some more dynamic poses for things like Guardians and I think we're pretty good.

  13. Pretty certain Wyrd is doing all they can to speed up production. The issue was caused by a massive overperformance of M3e, and Wyrd have everything to gain from increasing production rates and sell more product. The issue is probably that there is quite a bit of lead time on injection moulded plastic, but I'm sure they're turning every stone...
  14. Oh, I agree. One would think, just as one would think distributors and stores took into account the drop in sales due to early announcement of M3e when guessing demand. But there are several possible explanations. Maybe some of the stores got stock, but fulfilled (some) preorders before adding it to the stock list? I know the store I ordered from have placed faction packs back on preorder, even though I got mine from them back in July. Maybe some distributors have a policy to try to fulfill some small orders rather than half-fulfill all orders? I don't know, but there is zero chance none were shipped when at least some stores received stock. And as everything is shipped out of Georgia it's pretty far fetched that some choice items where earmarked for London and thus deliberately kept away from the US market...
  15. If you've paid attention to how the distributor system is working this is highly unlikely. Wyrd orders stock based on what distributors pre-order, then ship this out. Distributors pre-order based on the interest from retailers, and distribute amongst their customers. What has happened here is that several distributors have underestimated demand, and tried to get more than their original order. This has caused a lack of product all over the world. The idea that wyrd would secretly stash away some products and only ship them abroad is wildly conspiratorial at best, disingenuous and dishonest at worst. If UK distributors got the set you can be certain that US distributors got it as well. Probably not in high enough numbers, but that's largely the fault of retailers and distributors (Wyrd has stated they ordered way more product for the release than the estimates, but still not enough to satisfy demand). Maybe some retailers (or even many) didn't get stock; either they didn't order enough or early enough or they got screwed by their distributor. Or both. And there you go. If a single retailer got it then it's demonstrably false that the distribution chain in the US did see the product.
  16. Brutal Fate have in fact already reached retailers. If some, or indeed most, retailers have yet to get it that's due to distributors not ordering enough to fulfill demand. It only takes a single retailer to have it in stock to prove it has in fact been sent out... Wayland Games in the UK have 10+ in stock as of writing...
  17. If things are done like in previous sales they don't ship things in order (ie first in-first out). That is because of the huge amounts of orders in a short amount of time, and sorting every order to make sure they are fulfilled chronologically would take a lot of extra time, meaning the orders would take even longer time to get through. I don't know what you're referring to with regards to "cough models", I presume it's some sort of autocorrect issue. I'm sorry you've been unlucky with misspacks. I had a string of unlucky misspacks a few years ago, but very little the last few years. Every time I've had missing parts Wyrd have fixed things very quickly though...
  18. Not really sure what you're saying here, sorry if I'm being thick...
  19. Easier they have explained that mostly they just print out all the orders, and divide them into piles and take one pile each starting at the top. I don't KNOW for a fact that's how they did it this year, bit it'd make sense, probably be the fastest approach, and would explain the random pattern in which stuff is packaged and sent. For what it's worth I got my shipment today (cards, Nightmare Molly and Miss Seamus), so this makes it the second fastest GenCon shipping from Wyrd since 2013 I think... So basically, there's no pattern, the time is just random. If you ordered delayed stuff, the time is the delay time plus random. If you don't like it, there's always eBay (for Ltd ed stuff) or LGS later on...
  20. ...or all in every faction...?😋
  21. I've just had a small family emergency. My daughter had some friends from kindergarten over to celebrate her fifth birthday, and when they left I was missing a King's Empire Infiltrator. As you can imagine this has caused the mood in the household to sour somewhat, and despite my best efforts (and those of my slightly more diplomatic wife). The Infiltrator is nowhere to be found. So I'm shopping around for a single infiltrator, preferably one of the standing/running ones with the pistol in only one hand. I figured there was a slim chance someone has bought a box to use for conversions or some other project (they are seriously cool models!), and might have a spare left over. Worth a try anyhow! I live in Norway, and will of course cover shipping. Not looking to pay near-full-box price, but will pay whatever seems like a reasonable fair ask...
  22. But they told us up front that orders containing books could get delayed because of the production delays...
  23. I would try not to worry yet. I'm also from Europe (Norway), and I've ordered stuff from every GenCon sale since at least 2013 I think. Only once have my orders arrived before September, and at least one didn't get here until October. Sometimes you get lucky, but given how long it takes to pack everything (I think Wyrd estimate everything should be shipped from them by the next week) and longer transit times I think there's still a while till it's time to get impatient...
