We are up to 15 paid player now with more expected on the day. Excited!

Ok guys, just the 1 point is given out at the end of the event if all the minis you used through out the event were all painted to a minimum of 3 colours. I can see that some people do not like this and I probably will not do this again, the reason I did was because although we all like to play games it is also a hobby and painted minis look great on the board. Having a rule that minis must be painted can give some people a good kick up the arse to get their brush out which has been good for me in the past, I know some people or most people do not have the time but this event has been scheduled for some time now.

More attendees updated and just to clear this up, your crew needs to be painted with a minimum of 3 colours. Players with painted crews will receive 1 TP.

I'm planning on buying a ticket at the end of this month, but I don't know how many people have already signed up?

 

Maria raises some good points regarding Freeze - it's a nice idea, but as it stands I don't think I would ever use it except in *very* situational circumstances.

 

I would reword the Freeze action to a more standard format so it is understandable - because it's been written in paragraph form, it's not clear how it interacts with existing rules. If you're happy with what it does, I think you want it to say this:

 

(2) FREEZE! ( Wp 4 / TN: 12 / Rst: Wp / Rg:  10) The attack and resist flips cannot be cheated. Target model gains the Paralysed condition which cannot be removed by any means, and iany immunity to the Paralysed condition is ignored. This action may only be taken once per game.

Sign ups will be updated every few weeks to keep people informed, numbers will be healthy.

 

As for the FREEZE action it is something optional that is not meant to be over powered and will be a big risk if attempted. I do not expect many people to use it.

I would suggest nipping to a super market to pick something up that is cheap and cheerful, if you have an old t-shirt and jeans you can cut up with some blood slats on it then that would count.

Maloween update, 11 players paid up and 10 more expected on the day. The event is fancy dress for those wanting the full 50ss so don't forget and make the effort. 

All the Malifaux events are ranked but I thought the ranking season was up, all the scores will be sent out.

If the scores will add to the rankings season then sure but I thought it just missed the date. All scores will be sent to rankings anyway.
