  1. We actually agree - I meant to imply the Versatile would count as both actions are available as "free" additional actions, in which case, my answer would stand. I agree that you can use your normal Order action for other action on the card, the one you don't take from Versatile.
  2. I think he's asking "Can a Versatile Asset with two Actions on it take both actions every turn?" like Horomatangi's Tide Caller Asset. I would say no, since it says " A Fireteam in this unit may take an Action listed on this card in addition to any other Actions it takes." My bolding.
  3. While the intent for the triggers to take the additional Actions is clear, you're right. There's no exception for "Once Per" actions generating from Triggers. Hopefully that'll get cleared up in the first wave of errata.
  4. Another question: with 3E being centered around Keywords, what Keywords do the Dead Man's Hand masters have? Will their theme pool increase? If so, will their balance be modified with errata? If Dead Hand masters are getting errata, I have no idea why they are available by approval only and that's just hassling players and TOs. If they're not getting errata, they are DOA - TOs won't want to let them in, ever. I'd love to see them back in a 3E Book 2, but Wyrd needs to message that asap if true.
  5. I mean, I'm just trying to come up with a reason my favorite minis company is making a really bad decision in early M3E that damages their playerbase (during what should be a wholly celebratory time) and doesn't involve something so inane as "the story we have almost complete control over said so." Esp when they're taking the time to balance the dropped Masters for competitive play, but not allowing them in comp play unless approved. That's so bizarre - I don't even know how to justify it.
  6. If everyone is getting a M3E sculpt, yeah, my idea doesn't work out.
  7. The more I think about it, the more I'm convinced the Dead Man's Hand is due to plastic moulds aging out. Lilith, Ramos, and Nicodem are old sets that probably hit their mould limit and don't sell quite as well, even with being in the top tier in 2E. Collodi is a bit of an outlier there, but they could have moved enough copies to break the mould. Lady J vs Nicodem could easily have been a community poll of "Who gets a new mould?"
  8. I'm curious, but if they're balanced for competitive play and they're getting 3E cards, why aren't they just generally legal? Are their crew boxes going out of production and this is a roundabout way of moving them out of the game?
  9. All these core and Master changes are fantastic, but the Dead Man's Hand thing is borderline insulting. Invalidating purchases is the worst, but saying you can still play them by relying on your opponent / TO to approve you doing so is almost equally as bad. Either cut them completely or make them tourney-legal (or legal proxies, which is the easiest solution). Without that, those masters quickly become irrelevant in the grand scheme of the game. If the design space can't support that number of masters, there's a problem with the overall design that needs fixed before the onus is put on your player base (which I know is easier said than done). Using fluff to justify wasting your players' money is a sure-fire way to shed goodwill. Most companies avoid that like the plague. Still, I adore everything else about 3E. I have nothing but optimism outside of the cut Masters issue.
  10. Lair to Lair, when used, says "This model may not take Interact Actions this turn." Is this a blanket statement in that the model cannot take Interacts at all this turn, even before LtL, or they cannot take Interact actions after Lair to Lair? Logically, it should be the latter, but it doesn't say "until the end of the turn" or "for the rest of the turn" which would bound the interact prevention timing correctly, which is where it gets nebulous.
  11. Distract on Sh 7 is insanely good. I usually activate them first to shred hands and then don't have to worry about cheating the rest of the turn.
  12. Nightmare Peacekeeper. I want a massive fist of plastic. Lady Pistoleros - a Chronicles had art of them and they need to release. I need to own them. Hoffman in a "Three Kingdoms Robot Drama" nightmare box - aka a mecha box or kitted out as the King's Empire as a TOS crossover (so Weird War 1 models). McMourning Classic Movie Monster Nightmare Box - I'm talking Hammer-era vampires / mummies / wolfmen. It might be a bit too close to him now, but I still think it would be fun. (and he's technically Guild, so it would fall under here).
  13. David Bowie-esque Lust Alt. My number one want. I'll vote for the Alt Pathfinder too. Use him so often, want to see an alt take. Seeing the Ancestors alive would be neat. Clan-era Izamu, Yin, and Toshiro - but it probably wouldn't that popular of an Alt. A Shenlong box mocked off famous kung-fu flick actors would be neat.
  14. Because TOS' advert drive hasn't really started yet. It's still in production, so it's not time to really start pushing it hard. Probably when TOS releases in Dec / Jan, they'll announce more stuff is coming to encourage players to buy in, seeing how there's already future support coming.
  15. The strange unknown models at the end on TOS bases (the Genie and frog-thing) are probably for the Three Kingdoms and Kimon Oni TOS Allegiances announced during Gencon. The other ones look like Golems. Wyrd may be doing a cycle of Golems for the other factions for the next book.
  16. Bit of a necro: I have a few players coming from WMH in my area that are extremely frustrated by not having an official app - to the point where it's becoming a detrimental thing (mainly due to errata) turning them off the game. Really hope Wyrd has something to show this fall, even if it's a UX alpha. Encounter generator, full cards, condition & damage tracking are really needed.
  17. @thatlatinspeakingguy Are you saying you're a latin speaking guy?
  18. For sale: Metal Gamin High River Monk 2x Rail Workers $6 each, all full painted and based. Buyer pays shipping. All come with the latest errata cards. Pics!
  19. Law of the Flame sounds nicer. 16 years on from my 1 year of Latin and I have just enough to make a fool of myself.
  20. Contiones de Rege Flammae - Discourse of the Kingly (Royal?) Fire? My Latin is very rusty.
  21. Errata looks great! 3SS Stuffed Piglets are a fair balance - makes them situational instead of take a bunch to force your opponent into an NPE for dirt cheap. Activation Control as a whole needs visited on in any potential 2.5E core ruleset since it's so unfun in general to play against.
