  4. Awesome, thanks a lot for making these. Will we see the painting of a miniature, too? Keep them coming bro! Edit: I really love your grimm dark painting stile and Im like light years away from that kind of stile so I would really enjoy some vids about that!
  5. Hi there, I'm from southern Schleswig-Holstein, I would love to get some games in If you like, shoot me an PM! Cheers!
  6. Howdy, nördlich oder südlich von Hamburg?
  7. Hi there, I'm from Kaltenkirchen. If you are up for a game shoot me an PM! Let's spread the love for Malifaux *lol* No seriously, I would enjoy have someone new to play with. As it stands I know about 3-4 people who are playing in and around Hamburg, sometimes more or less active. So some fresh blood will be much appreciated
  8. P. 21: "Charge (Cg): A model performing the charge action moves up to this far TOWARDS its target [...]" Thats what the conversation is about. So actually you have to charge towards the target and katadder isnt right here. I have to say that I overlooked this all the time playing, too.

Maybe you want to check out this wrap up of the winner of the Adepticon this year. Have a look at the lists he is facing. And the "lists" hes using. That might change your mind ;-)
  10. Hi there, didnt ever give some feedback, although I have heard at least half of the podcasts. So now is the time to give a big big thank you. I really love to hear your podcasts, for all the advice and the work you put into it. I also like the new content with general discussion on tactics and things, even those math discussions, as they play an important part in general in tabletop games. So thumbs up, keep up the good work
  11. Thanks guys, lots of usefull tips. Papa +Marshall because he will be Pine Boxed and then be much more movable? Frank for Lady J/mcMourning because of the Df buff? Hoffmann would be great. Maybe combine him with Ramos box set? Why would she want either of them? Francisco just because Df buff again? Yeah, Lucius will be kinda late to that party I will add him later. Yeah, like everyone has them on their list. Seems kinda hilarious but I cant figure out why exactly I would want to have them. Played a game via Vassal with an Austringer and was not impressed at all. Obviously Im missing something. Thanks for pointing that one out. Sidir because hes handing out slow? McCabe would be a great addition anyway, because my girlfrined owns Misaki. Therefore Im with one foot already stepping into the Ten Thunders Faction. Never.
  12. Hey guys, as stated in the title I already own Lady J and Doug. I am relatively new to the game, however I would like to play on a tourney in the near future. Therefore I would like to invest in another crew box to complement the playstiles of my owned masters. I dont really know if there is any box, that would be the best purchase in my situation. I have two main points to archive: 1. the master should have its strength in Strategys and Schemes I temporarely lack with Lady J and McMourning and 2. The models that come with the crewbox should be useable with my other boxes. On the top of my list is Sonnia. Especially with McMourning and the Nurses the Witchling Stalkers are quite usefull and in my mind I dont see a reason not to take at least one Stalker with Lady J. On the other hand Sonnia might like a Marshall or two to finish the job As she is a ranged caster I guess that she will be good at slightly different missions than LJ and Doug. Do you agree? Why or why not? Do you have any other advice? Thanks for helping guys, I appreciate it a lot!
  13. Man, youre awesome! As I dont have a vector editing programm: How many and which markers are there? The photo shows some, is this a picture of all of the markers? Thx!
  14. Would you like to add me, please? Player: Sissi Country: Germany Province: Schleswig-Holstein City:Kaltenkirchen
  15. Okay, so here comes my wrap up of last evening. I have to say that I had lots of fun playing Malifaux, even at this level. During the game I made several observations. First of all I realised that knowing how to play and teaching how to play are two completely different things. I know how to play the game, clearly yes. Am I able to teach it to somebody - maybe not. I didnt really made a plan beforehand as it was quite spontanious. I thought I would have another 2 weeks to prepare myself. Wasnt the case though. But I gave my best. As I had to teach it in german it was a little difficult to decide which part I should translate and which part I shouldnt. As the rules are in english I thunk its wise to leave it that way and use the terms (with translation) as they are. Secondly the Crews. They were definately balanced and Sebastian gives very interesting mechanics. The Nurses and Flash Construct have some natural synergy which I like a lot. But for a demo game it was overwhelming, as he wanted to play Sebastian. Just too complicated to begin with. I went for Turf War and Assasinate which is a cool combination and it really works well while at the same time is simple enaugh to concentrate on the basics. So all in all I have to practice. Learn the core fluff, the basic rules by hard amd keep the terms clear. I will change the crew, and I think even the Hemchman. Sebastian is cool but not straight forward enaugh. The Judge and Co. worked fine. Despite all those things it was really fun and I love the way that Malifaux makes things tactical. I never came across a skirmish game that is as tactical as Malifaux and I play Infinity, too. But with Infinity Im not nearly as satisfied
  16. Okay, so today i'm going to give my first demo game to a good friend of mine. This comes a lot faster than expected and I'm quite excited to cheat some fate This will be the crews: Guild Crew - 18 - Shoot Out The Judge -- 4 Pool Death Marshal [6] Death Marshal [6] Death Marshal [6] Resurrectionists Crew - 18 - Shoot Out Sebastian -- 7 Pool +Those Are Not Ours! [1] Flesh Construct [6] Nurse [5] Nurse [5] This is slightly more than I initialy wanted, but I had to improvise because I just have the Crew Box at hands and the masters arent build yet. In addition my friend is a relatively experianced wargamer so I'm quite confident that we will be good to go like this. I will decide spontaniously which Strategy and Schemes were gonna play. It depends a little on how fast he will get the basics. We will see how it works!
  17. Psssst: Its called GerMany Unfortunately its way too far away for me to show up Anyway I wish you lots of fun and success with your demo games.
  18. Thats a valid point. I thought The Judge would balance that well as hes a simple counter to all undead shenanigans.
  19. Because Sebastian is able to summon then. Canine Remains ability "Found a bone" makes no sense otherwise. Dislike that. Summoning is as far as i know a common skill and typical for Ressers and therefore worth showing in a demo game.
  20. Just saw that box - I'm totally fine with them. And they come in a box of three, thats perfect for my needs - thx for advice! Well, I thought Malifaux isnt about killing stuff?! That is one of the key aspects in the game and therefore important to point out. Today my rulebook will finally arrive and I will look up those Minis but actually I dont feel any need to get more killy models. Furthermore I dont see, why the Canines arent killy (maybe because of the 4 Crows?!). They do 1/3/4 dmg + 1 poison. Thats more than a Deathmarshall which does 2/3/4. The Canines arent ranged, thats right. If Sebastian is around the poison even does 3 dmg because of Induction. My latest concept for the demo crews look like this: Guild Crew - 13 - Shoot Out The Judge -- 5 Pool Death Marshal [6] Death Marshal [6] Resurrectionists Crew - 13 - Shoot Out Sebastian -- 6 Pool +Those Are Not Ours! [1] Canine Remains [4] Canine Remains [4] Canine Remains [4] Strategys and Schemes arent set yet, but I'm still leaning to Turf War and Assasination as they are super simple. Again I will look up the alternatives and maybe theres another simple Scheme that I can use.
  21. Thx for the input. ""Get a box of canines (they are an August release, I think). Play the Judge and two Marshals against Sebastian and three Canines. Just duke it out."" I could see myself proxying or scratchbuilding some of the Remains because I would like to make use of all abilities and otherwise I 1. couldnt summon more Camins and 2.couldnt make use of their Found a bone thingy. So I would need at least 4. That are a few to build or find alternate models. Any other suggestions and/or tips for zombie dogs? xD
  22. Guys, it was a hard decision but I finally went for McMourning because I can use my Death Marshalls with him and reach 50SS. In addition I like his poison theme and mechanics more than Seamus and Im sure, that I can use his abilities better in small Demo games than Seamus backstabber thingy. On the other hand the models in his box set arent quite the optimum for demo games. I would use McMourning, Sebastian for Summoning and the two nurses. Alternatively I could swap out the nurses for the flash construct. I think the nurses are a little complicated because of their injection ability. I would set up those against Lady J and two Marshalls. Which models would you take for a demo game? I wouldnt hesitate to buy another flesh construct or camine remains. Thanks for your help anyway!
