  1. OK...... What purpose does this model serve? It feels witching handler light. The def trigger is so specific I don't think it would come up. I push directly straight to you and then co-incidently be in an inch to attack the aggressor? Not sure I want to turn them into rat catcher light either. How's about these as tactical actions? (2) who cares if its not butchers meat? - hounds in an 8" pulse of this model may push to their nearest corpse counter immediately. If they do they must make an uncheatable 1/2/3 straight flip. Note: no limit on how far away the corpse token should be, just that it is the nearest. (1) fetch that stick! This model may pull any guild hound within 8" towards him. If they were base to base with any markers, they are removed and then place base to base with this model. (1) yap at them boys! - any guild hounds within 6" gain 'bark worse then bite' condition. Guild hounds may not take walk, charge or melee actions but enemy models may not take interact actions within 3" of them. (O) you want me to tickle your tummy? - this model removes all conditions on any hounds within base to base contact of him
  2. Main use I have seen Is him and two riflemen locking down sosome quarter's in reconnoitre. Its an expensive package, but allows you to be aggressive with the rest of your models. It was teamed with perdita's faster than you and was in short an exercise in area denial. They lost the game but it was a concept to work with certainly.
  3. Sweet. Did you go into the game knowing you only had lady j to choose from? Must say close deployment really helps lady j get stuck in. Personally I never hesitate using Perdita and her aura ancestral upgrade. My gun says there are no will power duels fool...
  4. So with the brutal effigy you want to heal back the damage taken by 'Dita when she takes the one and moves closer to Abuela?.... This takes quite a bit of set up to stop the enemy relying on this and drawing Perdita out of position. Don't take a set list. Just think through what tools you have. Nothing wrong with having a limit set at the start, and in fact you will learn faster making choices between a limited set. I'm guessing you only have the following from your previous posts. Perdita Enslaved Nephilim Francisco Nino Santiago Papa loco Abuela Death Marshall 1 Death Marshall 2 Death Marshall 3 Most off the time you are looking for a balance of three, very broad things in a list. Offense - Can I stop them from achieving their goals by taking options away from them? Defensive - can I put up enough resistance to limit or even negate their offense? Speed - Can I get to where I need to be, without having to sacrifice the other three unduly? Look at your models cards. Now you can project your offense quite far away with all of those guns. You can use Perdita's faster than you to stop weak models trying to use there offense in a wide area. Both Abuela and Papa can be total pains in the butt up close.... But your death Marshall's have the speed to get to where they need to be. They can also transport your guys or lock up your main threat, they also the cheapest model you have with the brutal effigy, so them spending ap putting down markers doesn't feel such a waste as say papa not spending it throwing dynamite at people. In short, don't worry going death Marshall heavy if you have a 'marker' heavy set of schemes and see what happens. Hope that helps? PS - I would then suggest getting watchers as they are the guild's best scheme runners, then pistolero de latigo as they are cheaper scheme runners with some awesome buffs. Download the wave 2 cards for free before they go (so you can proxy until new wave 2 arsenal decks come out).

    No it got cuddled. Deservedly tbh. It did make perdita utterly brutal in close combat. N*rfed comes out as cuddled. Never noticed that before

  9. I take double watchers in my mcmourning and Perdy lists all the time. They are the beat 'schemers' in the guild personally, unless you have Luna and hounds

    To be honest I got far too use to the broken filth of perdita being able to use it. That was lovely... Its great, but I usually take Santiago and keep him at the back and collect masks for his trigger of lovely repeat shooting. I also contemplate dropping enslaved neph to fill it in but then realise how silly that it. In short, its great, but just never quite gets into my list
  11. I think desperate mercs and malifools are the only regular ones. Others are great (Isle of faux, malibros...) But are very sporadic (3-5 episodes a year)
  12. The other set of models too consider is watchers. Sky eye can be really useful and they are cheap objective runners who can allow the family to concentrate on shooting!
  13. Is there a waiting list for this in case of drops? Wouldn't mind attending if spaces become available.

  16. Good support for Sam Hopkins if you take him in another crew entirely. Being wanting to blend them in with the Ortega's but the scheme and strats haven't come up to make it worthwhile

  20. I think as ressers, outcasts and never born seemed to rule the roost in 1.5, it may be people simply spreading there wings for 2nd.... (?)
  21. Its about risk/reward. If I can break a stalemate and go up, on the basis that I probably lose if turn 6 comes up as I have over extended, then I will always go for the win despite the risk. Lady J is tempting, but I always play the melee master in other games. Really getting her box to add to my fledging mc mourning crew as plastic surgery and the judge is too giggle worthy to pass up... Saying that, she gets a tough wrap. 'Last rites' from 'justice unleashed' is probably the best counter to Ramos/Nicodemus we have really. Those are the two masters I look across the table when I am fielding Perdita at the moment and go ''oh no'' so I am interested in anti summoning tech she brings at the very least.
  22. 2nd that Perdita is great master to start, especially as each family member has specific roles and buffs which makes you think about positioning, and there small model size as it makes you think about marker placement as well.
