  1. I use this in a big plastic container. Though I am looking into something a little more convenient to take to events like Gen Con as hauling that around seems like a pain and would be risky
  2. Was going to say that I think the Zombies!!! zombies would be a bit small. I personally have issues with CMONs business practices to support Zombicide, sadly though they totally have me with The Others. Last Night On Earths zombies I believe are about 28mms but nowhere I have found do they come in great quantities, their site has 7 for $8 at the cheapest. At that price it may be easier to buy WH AoS/FB zombies. I shall keep a lookout for anything
  3. Is this close enough? http://www.amazon.com/Rubies-Costume-Co-French-Maid/dp/B0043006D4 someone gave me a link to a popular crossdressing site but I don't know is 'something free' is worth dropping well over $100 xD Also shoes, I am totally not finding matching shoes that fit in a mens 14 4e also its Gen Con I need comfy walking shoes!
  4. Anyone know a good spot to find a maid outfit in a mens XXL?
  5. So should I just PM you my bank info or is there a process for getting that set up?
  6. I may be super late to this but congrats Aaron, sorry I didn't see the post sooner!
  7. I have only managed a few games of the boardgame but need to get the expansion and play more. Would like to get my friends to try it again so I can see about running a stream of it. I am curious how the second expansion with player raiding and pvp quests will change the dynamic of the game.
  8. I may have to come and stop by, not sure how long I could be there though. Working on possibly finding time on Sundays for the Saltire Paint & Play. I just bought Von Schills box there and may wait to open it for that.
  9. I would guess it has never been officially seen to, so it would depend on the opponent. But Most people frown on counting cards especially when you are obviously doing so. This may not be what your intention is but it is the only reason I could imagine you would want/need to keep track of your opponents discards. If your opponent is fine with it I don't see why anyone else should care but I doubt they would be ok with that in a tournament setting. Also which TCG says you can't take notes? I have never seen such a rule and for it to be effective you would need to know your opponents deck beforehand which is unlikely.
  10. Not sure anyone still cares or not but I found some info on a magnetic board and a tupperware container i decided to try out. Total cost so far is ~$60 and covers almost all of my miniatures for any game. It holds really well and the miniatures survived a 1 hr trip twice with absolutely no issues so I am happy. Just need to get some metal on my remaining minis. Board with my Malifaux and Skaven Army showing off how well the magnet holds the steel base bottoms I got. Everyone but the Nothing Beast stays well to at least 90 degrees(I did not push it any further. Need to go in with a dremel tool and cut some wood away on the bottom to add a slot for rule books(thought about this after I built it in a duh moment. If I build a second board I will try harder to make it look nicer, I am not fantastic at this kind of stuff.
  11. I listen to Malifools occasionally while working and it's not too bad. Though really I only listen/give it a chance if I see a post on the forums about a new one or something.
  12. I believe he is looking for something like what some RPG's and other tabletop games offer(though far less commonly) I know Shadowrun, Heavy Gear and Battletech have such rulebooks. They are generally some what dumbed down get playing style books. Removing more complicated aspects and intended for more simplistic characters/units(or crews in this case) Enough to have an idea how to play and even possibly proxy a game. This would probably be something that at the minimum requires Wyrd's permission to create but for reference I believe he means things like this: Battletech(note this one also includes paper units to try with): http://d15yciz5bluc83.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/BattleTechQuick-Start-Rules.pdf Shadowrun: http://cdn.shadowruntabletop.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/E-CAT27QSR_SR5-Quick-Start-Rules.pdf Heavy Gear: http://dp9.com.s3.amazonaws.com/downloads/HeavyGearArenaQuickStart.pdf
  13. I have been considering picking up Hans to be a possibility in my Seamus crew. Me and my cousin bought new stuff to get into the game and have yet to manage to hit the table. But I hear Raspy(who he got) has some good range which is something the base Seamus crew generally lacks. Though I also have Tara that I have been playing around with.
  14. Well I impromptu ended up there today they had 2 options which looked like they might work but I think I need to measure things to make sure for the nothing beast. Edit: Any suggestions on magnet sizes? All of my minis are the new plastics and it looks like for at least the regular sized guys that there is a nice convenient hole for one but I don't know the depth or anything(a tape measure is escaping me at the moment). Thinking tomorrow I will check out Micheals for some sprays to seal since I think they are the most likely to have Krylon and Testors
  15. I had never heard of Harbor Freight before. Apparently there is one near an area I go a good deal though. Weird.
  16. Well I checked out some local hardware stores and the cheapest metal toolbox was around $60. Guess I will be looking around a bit more and trying to see if anyone knows whether the nothing beast will fit in a KR case. Thanks guys
  17. Yes I did remember to wash and prime. Not been out of minis gaming that long.... well like 10 years or so. Thanks I will take a look into the magnetizing and a tool box as that does sound like a pretty decent idea. Will have to go by a hardware store I think and find somewhere with small enough magnets.
  18. As the title says I finished painting all my initial buy in miniatures (new Seamus crew, Tara crew, 3 extra belles and 3 death marshals) it took me awhile but I did finish. Though Miss Step is still in her box because well I didn't get instructions and haven't braved that one yet. Anyways I have them sitting nicely up on a shelf. But I need to find a good method for transporting around. Preferably on the cheaper side. I looked at the Battle Foam Malifaux bag while at Gen Con but I was unsure of how well that would accommodate the Nothing Beast. I would like to keep them safe even though I am far from the best painter. P.S. Any tips for sprays/coatings to better preserve them from chipping? It has been awhile since I've been seriously painting and playing with miniatures. Thanks in advance.
  19. I guess at least I didn't miss something completely obvious. We had ended up deciding they couldn't see each other and continued on after a minute or two. But I thought it was saying if you can poke your head out and shoot so can your opponent. It makes sense while assuming that the models do have height and are moving around in an area defined by their base(they could step back a bit away and shoot over the barrels(they were HT 2) It also fits with other LoS rules where if someone shoots but doesn't move you wouldn't have to check for the enemy if they then tried to shoot. If one can see and shoot so can the other. Just my two cents but since someone brought up vantage point stuff and we had discussed it just this weekend I figured I would throw my question in. Also drawing LoS with heights in vassal is a pain and confusing ordeal xD
  20. Not to derail this but on the point of vantage points and clarifications, me and a friend were playing and he had Rami up in a building and was looking to shoot my Seamus. He could draw line of sight but on my turn could Seamus return fire even though he was close to some barrels? From my reading of the rules it seems if the person on top can draw LoS so can lower models. Figured this was a good time and place to ask.
  21. Well turned out, I couldn't make it. Had game day with some family moved to Sunday. Maybe next time, hopefully I will have one of my crews painted by then.
  22. Well I may see if I can make it out, would like to try and get all my shiny new stuff onto a table. I can bring my rule book and the Outcast arsenal deck if I do but I can't make any promises at the moment.
  23. This may be a long shot but anyone with VIG/Exhibitor status who will have early access to pick up some goods want to help a guy out with a non-Malifaux related matter? I basically have money for my Malifaux and this other thing dedicated but it is in limited supply and I would prefer not to risk it. Please PM me to let me know if you could
