Random question but I think I know the answer. Does the intrepid emissaries phalanx ability giving shielding to the bygone models work before the check for the scars of cherufe ability. Scars says when the model is picked to activate, which I'm assuming is before phalanx wording of when this model activates.

Has it had a wording change somewhere. Cass can use any tactical that doesn't list a model by name or attach a summon upgrade. The trigger for the puzzle box just summons the puzzle box but it doesn't get a summon upgrade. But would get the summon "token" as per gaining grounds? -

Yeh just ment she can spread it about more by copying it and walking away using agile and a walk action to different parts of the table et. -

Been using Cassandra with Damien 1 in some practice games and her ability to copy tactical actions in the witness keyword is really solid, double confiscated lore, extra witness obey,copy loiths ability for more pos flips, what do you think?! -

Ah OK I'm starting to get it. I think I was beginning to compare apples and oranges. I think I will go with my initial thought and dropping the damage track and removing his shadow marker removal ability to reduce damage. -

I don't get it, why is summoning a model(s) on a fixed number TN with 1 suit needed generally seen as fairer than Ivan needing 2 suits and to beat your opponents flip just because your opponent could flip low? Is the answer not to just remove shadow pin as a trigger? So it's basically... bam... 2/3/4 damage. Or on 2 crows ( which is reasonable considering the swap out pos for suits) you do 2/3/4 and summon? -

Mik is very solid, perhaps reduce him to a 1" melee and drop his place on healing chronicle to 4" so he can clear a 50mm base but not a 50mm and a 30mm to arrive on the other side. Archivist has a great attack that's really nasty, make it either range 6" or stat 5. Range 6" means he would require an extra ap dedicated to get him close enough to use it. And range 10 is strong as most move 5 models need to walk, then charge to hit him and he has shielded 2. If he is only 6" away it's a charge for a 5mv 1" melee model and a second attack -

I think the problem there would become the fact it would be a summon with no agency for the summoner. Yes you could summon on next to nothing instead of requiring a moderate/ severe to hit a TN but equally your opponent can cheat to prevent it. So Ivan would need 2 crows and likely a high card to summon. Where others require 1 high card and 1 suit -

I think Ivan will get hit harshly. I like Ivan alot and I think you can pull him back around by removing the ability to remove shadow markers to make damage zero. This makes him very killable without the emmisary/ effigy tax of 10 (6) stones. And as much as this hurts to say.... reduce his damage track from 2/3/4 to 1/2/4 and he retains the shadow pin trigger this still gives him the same severe damage but means he need 2 good moderates with a shadow pin to kill the average 6 wound model as opposed to a moderate and a weak. -
Just to clarify... wrath of the kimon with ama no zako. Ama cannot activate 3 times in a turn due to the wording? The model may activate a second time. So if if ama has activated she can activate a second time. If ama then makes Asami use wrath of the kimon again it... A) has no effect as ama already has had 2 activations this turn... Or B) ama can activate a 3rd time and without gaining the 3 flicker as you only gain the 3 flicker on the models second activation....

I like moredrakes attack to bury but it relies on the target still being in base contact with a shadow marker, that requires setup no matter how easy. Thoon requires nothing but a stone and a high card -

My plan is to run this list in a game next week. I think the broken specter could be difficult to summon and prefer the deava for the place attack. I know the rex seems stupid but its tail lash is a move dual and can be mimicked, combining this with black soulstone and the keywords heavy applications of staggered im thinking this could apply plenty of hand pressure to the point with evas discard on her attack and her shared ability with corvis to make them discard a card to hit accurately, im keen to give it a go!!! -
Yeh used a scavenger last time as it s weird device can hand out fast and provide a little card cycle. May try a student and a prospector and drop to 2 stones instead of a scavenger and 6 stones

Am I correct in thinking....when I bury an enemy model why would I choose with Aonis to give it fast? I'm pretty sure when they activate the buried model I unbury it and it retains fast as Aonis cant spend a pass token to pass for it as the model has already begun its activation? And Aonis can ignore range and los targeting buried models the wording states " when a model activates in Aonis line of sight" which is not the same thing? Ie, beyond time doesn't work because buffering isnt an action it's an ability? And how do people use Aonis? Because other than investing 2 stones into servant of the dark powers his ability to drop in buried models is fine for a 7 but you NEED those pass tokens on the trigger to make landing fast elsewhere even worth it. Most games he is the furthest back in my crew am I activating wrong? Is it better to bury Aonis, get tara to land fast on an activated model, unbury Aonis, activate aonis to unbury a nothing beast and a void hunter, and go nuts?

On the look out for help/ advice. Is it worth running 2 bokors? Can't help but feel 1 is enough and even with glowy that 9 is still restrictive for obey in the crew. Sparks.... like him for bombs in ya belly. But other than that I use no constructs, he just hangs around giving out his upgrade and at 9 stones... not much else. Is alphonse a better take at 9 and ditch sparks? My current list tends to be Wong Olivia Taxidermist with complex Taxidermist with complex Sparks Borkor Borkor Pigapult 2 stones Thanks in advance

It says clearly that slow and fast cancel each other. Does this mean sloth can use his bonus action to give a friendly model slow and heal 3, then use riger mortis to give them fast cancelling out slow ( but not removing either) then use it again to give them fast? Or I'm thinking as both fast and slow dont end until the end of the models activation the stacking of fast does nothing... correct?

Just to echo everyone else I take.. Hinamansu Arcane effigy ( for condition removal) and effigy upgrade Mysterious effigy ( because its free) Widow weaver Vasalisa 2 stitched together Duet 4 stones, mostly for the mask to summon, usually a 3rd stitched or wicked dolls.

I play a list that is a bit of everything Hoffman Attendant Coryphee duet Howard Langston Peacekeepers 2 watchers Arcane effigy with effigy upgrade. I appreciate this is clearly a guild crew question but I would still take the brutal effigy with the upgrade for the late game terror factor, the duet can be swapped out easily for ryle. So as you can see there are similarities in peoples builds which is great as it shows the design for the keyword and the synergies are working
