  1. Played her in a 40 point game in a tournament today (it was oddly structured). Won against Parker Barrows 9-3. I had Nellie, 2 oderlies, Phiona with debt and her upgrade, Hannah and a performer. I didn't take Nellie's guild funds upgrade, I took the other three (I am so bad at remembering upgrade names) It was squatters rights and I had fast on the orderlies to get them turning squat markers turn 1. Phiona was charging an overextended Parker on turn 1 too. Managed to run Parker out of stones and kill him. Nellie got the finishing blow on him too with a Propaganda. He was killed by slanderous libel >.< It never feels like Nellie is doing much of anything during her turns, but she's just so good. She's got a trick for almost anything. She's pretty frustrating. I also think I'm in love with Phiona. She's pretty amazing for 10 points. (I don't see a reason NOT to take her upgrade and debt, personally). Had a lawyer and a performer throwing out WP duels and she wrecked face. She's such an unexpected threat because her damage track is high, but she seems so unassuming because she doesn't have criit strike or anything like that but when it's hitting you 3+ times a turn with to attack and dmg and a potential 7DF. Not to mention throwing up cover if she's not in range. She has much less use when she's not with Nellie, but I still think she's viable outside of Nellie (which I'm excited for)
  2. Performers and Hannah are great with Nellie. You get quite a bit more utility out of the performer with her, I think. Hannah, of course, gets you +2 Arcsne Reservoir, can can also copy Phiona's shape stone or the judge's combat effectiveness. think I got Phiona to attack like 6-7 times in a turn when I played. With to ATTK and DMG
  3. Yeah, I could see that. She definitely seems good with Nellie though.
  4. I think 6 piglets is the most I've had on the board, but I think I've had 2-3 warpigs also. At least two is probably wise. never have taken the Pork Chop with Ulix myself though. Prefer Old Major.
  5. Anyone used the first mate yet? I'm still a little curious what his role it. He's not exactly a beater and he's not exactly a scheme runner. He's sort of a piece that could do whatever is needed. A bit of damage a bit of scheming, but, does that make him a master of nothing? And Malifaux is pretty heavily defined by specializations. I still haven't gotten him on the table yet >.< Been slowly putting models together @.@
  6. with that trap list, why not take out the mounted guard and replace with a pathfinder and put another curfew on Candy? (or bank the SS) Or, replace the mounted guard with a dop.
  7. I hope wherever you go, you love it as much as you love the Terracotta Warriors. I'm not sure that's possible though, but that's ok. You'll be missed.
  8. Dita, frank, judge, papa, austringers x2 I think that was it. To be fair, my list was a little lacking and I DID kill judge, frank and papa. I think I lost like 3-7 but Perdita did most of the work. With her min dmg and not needing to take the horror tests.
  9. They are glooorious. Also, Titania's crew is all minions, so that's good. Lucius seemed to get a lot of toys for wave 4. We'll see if it makes him any better though.
  10. So, is the old guy on the far right a different model or is he with the flaming headed pointing guy? Like, are they the same kind of unit?
  11. Nice list. Pretty interesting. Though the yellow boxes with white text may not have been the best choice... Seems like a 30SS game is a good way to play box on box, if that was your thing. Still not sure I'd want to screw around against a 14 point Kirai list though >.>
  12. Just take Perdita. She wrecked my 2 Teddy list pretty badly. :<

    RoF Grems?

That's awesome. Thanks a ton. It's too bad the Akaname won't b too useful for me, but they still seem really cool. I really want the were-grems. They seem even more awesome than they look. (And they look cool)

    RoF Grems?

So, without getting too stat spoiler-y, has anyone checked over the Wave4 Gremlin stuff? I'm really kind of dying to know what those orange things are and what the general feel of the new wave is for our beloved green kin.
  15. Yeah, a 9 SS tarpit could see a lot of work in the guild. Especially if it does other things. I know I'm pretty excited just from getting a little hint at it.
  16. I know 9 stones is a bit much for a tar pit, but how tar pit-y are the thralls? They seem like they could fill a lot of rolls with a lot of masters. Not just Lucius or Sonnia. 12 wds I2W seems like they might make good tar pits though and the Guild definitely is lacking in those >.<
  17. It's so nice to have a good upgrade finally ; ; It's also nice that Guild Guards (and Dashel) might see some use finally too!

    Zipp !! Ideas?

Setting aside his ability to eliminate models charges and 0 actions from 8" away, which is ridiculous, and his ability to block charging lanes / place blocking markers every turn, which is something that comes on other masters UPGRADES, Zipp's movement shenanigans alone are absurd. He can get a melee beater into position to charge something on turn 1 before it activates for what amounts to a zero action. and I have not mentioned his his survivability, his scheme harassment or his upgrades. insignificant hurts him more because he cannot remove scheme markers. Merris alone can complete most marker schemes by herself. Insignificant is sort of doing people a favor so they DONT just use him as a glorified scheme runner.

    Zipp !! Ideas?

I think he's preeeetty powerful WITH Insignificant. Without it, he'd be just stupid.
  20. Or Niño and Abuela. The Family: "Why are we here again?" Nellie: "Oh, we're uh... Investigating some Neverborn! Yeah, that's it!" I also remembered we get duty free McTavish, which is pretty gnarly. I like the Envy thing though. It's also another potential deterrent. Makes them think, at least.
  21. ^ that, yeah. Mitigate their buffs. The idea in general is that humiliation is far more versatile than it seems at first glance because you have more control over whether or not the opponent can even choose to remove the buff in the first place if you do not want them to do so. Also, what about bringing Franc and the Judge as well? You could potentially just have a murder pit between those three.
  22. If it's your primary source of damage, sure. But to put it on something like a Teddy or Illuminated helps facilitate their destruction a bit easier if you can't just kill them in one turn/activation .
  23. Of all the new masters, only her and Titania do not survive a flurrying Howard Langston at full health doing weak dmg every attack. (Unless Sandeep has activated) unless she spends soul stones or has a black joker in hand, she's dead. Dont get me wrong, I love the ability, but it's not the be-all. I think it's a little better than ItW. Also, Franc's pretty well perfect for anyone. Was looking over Humiliation again. If I'm reading it right, then the model will take the 2 dmg automatically if it cannot take the interact action, correct? i.e. From being engaged or being too close to a friendly scheme marker? That seems right to me, which makes it even more versatile.
