  2. Good stuff! I have joined the Dastue Ba appreciation society. She is such a good mix up model, can deal with heaps of different situations, as well as providing a lot of support for the crew. She is the Mech Rider of Ressers! Simply outstanding. Phototropic, great point on taking Take Back the Night on Yin. Could be really good in Turf War, etc. Where Yan/Datsue can buff nearby Spirits, and Yin lets you draw cards.
  3. I haven't wrapped my head around that strategy either. Its very dynamic and you really have to think a head. Doppelganger is a lock, its sturdy and got Don't Mind Me. Fugue State is more or less a lock too.
  4. In my experience the action tends to centre around one or maybe two spots on the board sooner or later. WW is useful for two reasons in such situations. When stuff bunches up, she can debuff them. She can influences areas by just placing markers out, enemies will have to think twice about going there, which will result in some board control.
  5. That is absolutely one of the best ways of getting Pandora to make hard choices, overextend, or simply die trying to do too much. On the other hand, Pandora can come out victorious from that anyway. Doppelganger is in general a better fit for Pandora. With that said, Tuco got offensive and defensive triggers that synergies quite well with Pandy. They make an ok pairing too if you need some shooting. Widow Weaver is great in Headhunter too!
  6. Undead Crowning is an aura which comes after a Ca. Can the Vulture cast that too with eyes and ears?
  7. I have played it once, it performed very well. You can sneak around with it to set up a deadly blow from Pandora. Much like I played with Hamelin and Nix in 1.5 (erratad, so no long looks please). The thing is though that I have such a hard time not to hire the Prim Magic. If the Poltergeist were I regular minion, I would hire it almost every game, but no it competes with the most solid 2ss in the game. Its hard to win that fight.
  8. Counter argument 2: Ophelia can use her bloody gun in melee with no drawbacks. Seamus will slap you efficiently. Well see how it goes with the Gremlins. I do agree with they have tech that are very competent of mitigating their weakness (I am looking at you Slop Haulers), and they have some really strong models/masters that we will have to see how they really fare "out in the wild".
  9. I have heard similar things. Just checked it, its about 30-40% now a days. There has been a steady raise of issued passports the last ten years in the U.S. So they are coming along!
  10. I think you are right. Unless Seamus runs with Bishop, and other stuff that goes after WP. I will try the Bag out next time I play him, which I think will fit my melee-centric play style.
  11. I would hire Nino just for the Spotter ability, in the right circumstances that is. Nical hit the nail on its head. Getting Pandora's WP down or getting her on negatives is a very potent strategy against her. Same goes for buffing your own stuff. Oirans are mercs.
  12. Pandora is perfectly capable of spreading out, or be a stand alone model. One way of playing her is to either go after or shut down everything big, important, or nasty in the opposing crew; depending on which of the limited upgrades you pick. When Pandora runs at full gears her crew is mostly a cheering section. Try to use her as a stand alone, you won't be disappointed!
  13. The death ball--trope needs to die. Pandora is more than capable of handling summoners and spreading out.
  14. Be nice to those yanks! Condoleezza Rice claimed that the Cold War was definitely over in 2001, after the Russians had called and said that they had nothing to do with 9/11 and we were willing to help out. I guess, MD, that some can't be to careful about those commies!

I will also bring the Bag, man I can't get the Sinister Rep to work. I am still playing Neverborn, but with Resser models instead. Peejay, I forgot to tell you before; best use of the Vulture I have ever seen and I have played against Nico a ton.
  16. So he can become Sh 7 with another ram, Focus to get to 36", and have + on damage. That is something you need to look out for!

  18. My take on this is to have Pandy, Doppelganger, and Prim Magic. Three ways of getting stuff insignificant. Usually does the trick.
  19. Way better! Still, she can push out of range most of the time. 4" is quite a lot of ground.
  20. So true. That is why I tend to take a lot of stones and the Prim Magic with her! She is quite card dependent as soon as she is in the thick of it.
  21. Low weak and moderate, but high severe damage is good. Critical hit is great! Flurry is not worth it in most cases since Pandora will most likely be able to get out of Ml range if she wins the first duel. A flurrying Howard is another story as usual.
  22. Bluefluff and Sonnia are definitely good counters to Pandy. Especially the latter in my experience thanks to Disrupt Magic (I hate that thing). Jonahmaul, it seems like you got a handful of Pandy that game; steaming on full gears. I don't think that there is anything wrong with your set up then. Just need some more experience against her, I think at least.
