  1. I have to say, I was absolutely FLOORED with these previews; I can see myself getting at least some model for every single faction. I have to say That i'm for sure getting the Gibbering Hordes and Cult. If I have one complaint, it's the super long legs and tiny head on the British... really looks off.
  2. I think Math is trying to say that to him they look like a 32mm scaled figure "blown up" to be that size with the same limited details and proportions that a 32mm scaled figure would have, opposed to it being even more detailed at that size? maybe?
  3. those look amazing!!!!! I'd leave e'm exactly as is. Would be great for a wet fabric looking effect and varnishes.
  4. LOVE it. can't wait to see the rest of her crew box... everything else i have seen for the oni so far has been nothing short of breathtaking. Also; I have been dreaming of running a solidly oriental rpg for years, I think she will make an AWESOME antagonist for that.
  5. Loved the preview! Can't wait to hear more about this; it has been a long wait since gencon!
  6. just want to chime in with my vote; if the scale changes, i won't buy it... i only collect one scale of figures.
  7. PLEEEEEAAAASE consider making miniatures of the players characters!!! they look amazing!!!
  8. Generally I work with this rule, if I'm painting light bright colours, i prime it white, if I'm going with a darker colour scheme or metals I use black. I second the black base with a white over spray, that will help give you done really sharp contrata in your highlights and shadows.
  9. Woodland scenics sells a number of high quality vinyl matts with grasses etc on them. I bought one for around 30 bucks, and it was a 4'x8' roll. check out their website. I highly reccomend them.
  10. That the base from the Battle Angle Alita Kit with the feathered wings?
  11. I can get u a scale shot of Charon, he's ova 40mm base
  12. I can get u a scale shot of Charon, he's ova 40mm base
  13. No noses?? How do goblins smell??? .... Terrible.
  14. Never use the gw stuff, it doesn't bond nearly as well as testors. I've been using testors for close to 20 years with no complaints... Except that it smells bad and gives me headaches. Lol
  15. Call me a weirdo, but I actually like his Hat.

  17. Testors makes a specials clear parts glue, I have a bottle of it from when I used to make a lot of historic warplanes. It's designed for doing the canopies and windows, and you can even use it to make your own.
  18. http://kelroywashere.blogspot.ca/2013/11/72-piles-of-bones.html this fellow has some pics that give an idea of scale for you... they are fairly small.
  19. Try getting some lead fishing weights and squishing them with a pair of pliers or a vice. Lead weighs are soft, and weight a lot more than the coins you will be able to fit under there.
  20. All you will ever need to know about bones, from the infamous victoria lamb. http://victoriaminiatures.info/painting-my-first-reaper-bones-miniature/
  21. It also help's to wet the surface. It's make it a much smoother process. I always wet/oil my stone/sandpaper when I'm sharpening my knives... not exactly a miniature, the principle is the same. ---------- Post added at 09:35 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:34 AM ---------- you are the genius that painted those? Let it be known, that these pics helped get me into monsterpocalypse, and have been saved on my computer and fondly viewed any time i'm in the monster mood. well done sir!
  22. Oh wow... these all look fantastic. The standouts for me are the Pandora and Sonnia Crid sets though. I can't help but wish the sorrows and poltergeist were cast in clear green plastic... but ah well.
  23. haha! yes.. i suppose going through customs etc with a full size rigid coffin might be an issue.
