This... is... fantastic! Love that you painted and built to both theme and Malifaux fluff! As a Levi player, I support this submission!

Well painted Durham_red! The better piece definitely won between our Round Ones. I shall curse the RNG that paired me with such a strong painter so early!
Best of luck into Round Two!

Thanks for all the comments and feedback guys! I got a lot of feedback about the plinth... Indeed, if I was the end user I would have done it black, but I'm gifting this piece to my dad who's a carpenter, so I thought he would like the wooden "frame" around the base. But if he mimics your guys/gals thoughts on it, easier to add paint than removing it!
One last view of the belly, which it occurs to me didn't get much attention in the collage. Tried to mirror it's internal-glow spikes on its spine.
All and all, well painted everyone, especially my opponent, Durham_red!

I love all the crazy colors in Som'er's outfit, makes it feel truly salvaged and patch-worked together. The face, especially the mouth, is very well done too. Top shelf!

I think everyone has a special place for crazy Teddies in their hearts, and this one doesn't disappoint. Good color choices for eyes, mouth, and claws... it juxtaposes perfectly with the rest of the mini!
-
I love the exaggerated base on this monster. Makes the piece feel like it's truly Manifested if you swap Raspy with this beast. Very well done!
-
I hope to achieve the same gradient of red --> black eventually on my plastic Bete. Did you do this with an airbrush? Too cool. Makes me look forward to painting mine.

I think everyone has had this idea once or twice after seeing Frozen! Nice greenstuff work and color choices. Look forward to seeing your Ice Golem Marshmallow (the name of Elsa's adult snowman)!
-
I like how much the body paint pops on the darker skin tone... makes me want more! Is the face paint design inspired by something? I'll have to read in the comments to see if that was already asked/answered.

I love this idea of cobbling models to make the miniature you need! It feels truly in the spirit of the undead manticore too... McMourning using the spare parts of five animals and waiting to see what doesn't fall off. By far the scariest head there is the snake... stay back!

This is one of my favorite basing this competition. Really captures the bayou-swamp environment of the gremlins. Old round logs awkwardly stacked with no milling done... now that's true gremlin craftsmanship! Very nice.

I love how she's tip toeing through a strange stone landscape, and you accurately captured her (difficult to paint) closed, peaceful expression. Well done! Wish I picked up one of these during the Black Friday Sale!

Again, this one tells me a story! Drawn to ubnoxious mariment of bar patrons, Nekima and her brood charge through all the windows, and the pub immediately becomes a battleground! I like the use of an alternate base, and the horns look terrific!

This piece tells me a story. A belligerent gambler is forcefully shoved outside by the muscle, but the drunk doesn't truly realize his fate until he stares into Mr. Graves eyes. Immediately sobering up after staring into the Brilliant glow that is just as bright as the Honeypot gaslights behind Graves, the gambler takes off into the night. Brilliant work, amazing!

Very good show; this is now my personal visual of Hoffman! Great work on the metallics... wish I could zoom in closer to see the detail!

I think this is a perfect submission for Frozen Moments. Very clean greenstuff work for the hat and added cables for increased visual complexity, good job.

Last year I went to a samurai exhibit in Portland OR, and I gotta say, your color choices seem very authentic and honest. Izamu is a joy to paint... awesomely done!
-
You see so many bright, high metallic Hannah suits, this one tempts me to paint mine in a similar dark tone. Also like the fact that you still have brighter metal at moving parts. Very nicely done!
-
I love how precariously perched Willie is on the rail. Wish I could see this in person, or at least a few more angles! Perfectly captures the "Mad Bomber" mentality!
-
I'm not usually a fan of the warmer colored Storms, but I really like the choices of pigments on this one. The red Santa cloak on Snow is a good touch too!
-
This is definitely one of my top picks! Love the hair, weapon, and the free hand texture on the horse. Excellent basing to boot!
-
Yeah, it took me a second to realize that was a draping clockface instead of a ruined gear... very cool basing theme to fit his fluff! I also like his highlighted hair!
-
The basing on this little guy is fantastic! Add the level of detail on his rifle though... *whistle* very nice!
-
Very nice detail in both muscle tone and the shine of the metal shovel. Let's wreck this ruin; the rail is coming this way!

Go Mars go! I really like your Yamaziko. The whole piece reminds me of Tremors...
