  1. £100? Neverborn? Of the top of my head: Collodi Box Pandora Box Zoraida Blister Voodoo Doll Widow Weaver Teddy Coppelius Stitched Together Brutal Effigy Insidious Madness Tactics: Kill everything.
  2. Candy (and Kade?) artwork may hint at Pandy beingteh first NB release?
  3. I too would like access to all the new rules as I have a few mercenaries. I think an interesting parallel is card decks. Everyone on here have their own Malifaux deck? Of course you do, even though an ordinary pack of cards will do just fine. Similarly, people will buy the faction pack for their own faction regardless of if they can also get it free. Its just the odd model from other factions that people would use the free resource for.
  4. It's more that: Brilliance + Feast or Famine = (Frantic + For my Family) x Serve Me = 4 A.P +3 Cb, attack flips + :+fate Dg = lots and lots of damage QED Sue can also shrug off Serve Me, giving him a free reactivate
  5. I'd suggest that another set of Wicked Dolls is a bit of overkill. You can quiet easily pump out half a dozen of the little boogers with Mrs Z and the WW, but it won't happen all the time, and if you're just playing for fun then you could proxie something else if you need more than 3 on the board and save a bit of cash. As an alternative use of your money, what about the Brutal Effigy? He'll give you some range in that doll list, will help keep WW and Teddy alive with his healing, and also goes great with the Dark Debts crew for the same reason.
  6. I've made a mess of a spirited-grave spirited-Izamu before with Huggy. Magical tendrils get you past the spirit, Brilliance gets through I2I, and you can then Heed My Voice on him to get rid of that pesky grave spirit. Throw in a few soulstones to make sure of it and drain a few wounds directly to finish things off and it should work rather well.
  7. I was thinking about how to get Sue into a Jacob Crew just last night. Came up with a very similar: Jacob 7SS Huggy Sue Brutal Effigy 2 x Beckoners Baby Kade Desperate Merc I figure that a brillianced Desperate Merc gives Huggy something to steal wounds off in the first couple of turns in liue of an Illuminated, and Kade gives you something to support Huggy in melee / finish off any badly wounded models you need to get rid of. Its not overly fast but it would be solid and fun to play. Back to the original question, Stitched are very very good in almost any build, but if you really want people to hate you want a really competative crew, Joel's Collodi build would probably be excellent.
  8. I have to say, I've done well when playing with Zoraida by simply concentrating on wiping out my opponent's minions for the first four turns then Ravening Z and any Wicked Dolls she's created to tidy up my objectives over the last two turns with very little opposition. With Obey and all your stones going on crew creation, you can very easily outfight your opponent.
  9. I thought that you don't even apply the poison tokens with Slumber: http://www.wyrd-games.net/archive/index.php/t-23827.html Has this been ruled officially?
  10. Thanks very much Viruk. I've seen your thread and you have some fantastic skills
  11. Well if you insist Jewomie...... ;P Here's a few more. I've stuck to just 3 colours; magenta, turquoise and yellow (plus a bit of plum mixed directly from the others), which I think ties everything together and saves on the cost of paint! The painting's pretty simple stuff; a Devlan Mud wash and then highlighted in several increments. Basing is crushed slate highlighted with the same turquoise. I do think that for us simple souls there's a lot to be said for just keeping things neat and coherent. Plus cl0wns. Cl0wns are important.....
  12. I just posted this. Agree that miliput and Soundwave's conversion are both excellent http://www.wyrd-games.net/showthread.php?39269-Hungering-Darkness-Conversion&p=509657#post509657
  13. Just added a thread with my conversion: http://www.wyrd-games.net/showthread.php?39269-Hungering-Darkness-Conversion&p=509657#post509657
