  1. Ah thank you, I didn't have the cards on me, so I wasn't sure of the details.
  2. I don't think there's a rule I can reference, but Chompy isn't buried, he is sacrificed with his (0), so mechanically it would be two different Chompys, so two activations.
  3. Actually you would be able to activate chompy, as he is sacrificed and then summoned, unless he has a rules that says he can't, as technically it's two different chompys.
  4. I had one game where 3 turns I flipped red joker for initiative, and my opponent flipped the black joker, and another turn where I flipped the red Joker.
  5. Was there a black blood shaman on the table? They have grow built in, but it's 12 inches regardless of LOS.
  6. There's other abilities with different wording, like the December acolytes weapons, they say target suffers x/y/z damage and gains slow. (I'm at work and don't have the cards on me so I'm not too sure on the details.) But I would agree that you need to damage to get the effect due to the wording.
  7. Leave no witnesses, which with Killjoy is easy But if Killjoy is a no-no, you can't go wrong with the Peacekeeper, it soaks and dishes out damage like no ones business. I've had one take two shots from the Judge, a charge from lady J, and a charge from an Executioner, with the final attack just being enough to kill it. That's 3 activations from models who aren't slouches in dishing out damage.
  8. That's correct, just remember the enemy still need to be in LOS, so big models can block the aura. Barbaros is fantastic if you are going heavy on the WP shenanigans, he's very disruptive on the more killy schemes, or things like distract and cursed object.
  9. Killjoy. Send in a Witchling, hit it with Sonnia to get the blasts, once it dies out pops Killjoy who goes to town.
  10. Well you could slap the new upgrade killswitch on her, dealing damage to anyone around her when she shapechanges.
  11. Just remember, when she shapechanges she is sacrificed, so don't ever take Bodyguard on her, also the model that replaces her is slow and can't interact that turn. That said, imbued energies is amazing on her, you get a new beast and four cards.
  12. Basically if the ability doesn't say "one or more models with this ability" it stacks.
  13. Huh, so this would mean Liliths tangle shadows wouldn't set off pounce right? Well, we've been playing that wrong.
  14. Another option for survivability is Barbaros, his challenge covers a wide area and if you are handing out debuffs to wp it can be really annoying to try and get through, and with the ability to nimble and double defensive stance into position Barbaros can be a tough nut to crack.
  15. Just remember, lady J and the judge don't leave markers when they kill something, so bring some corpse marker generation if you are facing them.
  16. I'm pretty sure the box set is cheaper than the blisters, but if you like the look of it, go for it, as the plastic set doesn't have a release date yet.
  17. No, you can't discard a card to get any suit, you can discard a card to gain the suit on the discarded card. Discard.
  18. It should take 5 damage, as the damage is from expunge, it's not actually dealing poison damage, it's reducing the poison to deal damage.

    Killjoy, while Arcanists aren't short on beatsticks, Killjoys I unbury in your face and go to town is always worth it.
  20. Have you thought of Barbaros? Challenge is a pain to deal with in a lilith list, let alone with damage if you fail. He can nimble, double defensive stance and (0)Challenge to be a real pain.
  21. So long as you don't try and use the same markers as different things, ie "No, that red base is a scheme marker, that one is a corpse counter." It should be fine, also, what crews are you using? Some dont need any markers other than schemes, Perdita for example only needs scheme markers (30mm bases are fine), while Ramos would need scheme markers and scrap (30mm as well) but Sonnia with CHeroffe's imprint would need two 50mm markers for flame wall.
  22. You can download Hoffmans final rules here, and one of his upgrades allows him to hire up to 4 arcanist constructs with the M&SU characteristic, including Howard, Joss and steam arachnids.

  24. Joss has been fantastic in every game I've played with him, his crowning moment was probably one shotting Lilith turn one with a red joker on pneumatic fist. He's single handedly taken out a Peacekeeper, paralyzed Seamus and tied him up for 3 turns, he is very good.
