  1. bought my second edition arsenal cards for my Neverborn and found that the hooded rider, a model I was particularly fond of, wasn't there whatsoever despite being a book 1 model - was simply wondering if anyone knows where it's gone, have they removed it entirely? are they releasing it later? or did the just forget it? Thanks.
  2. My master was connected to my totem and then it moved, does my totem drag up into base contact when i finish my master activation? and also, can a totem use magical extension if its not within 6" of the master?

As the duet is walking through me and making a strike with sword dance its entering my melee range, and so to walk again and leave my melee range, i would get a disengaging strike right? i only ask because the duet tends to walk through me, make an attack, then do it again and then once more and runs off 9" behind cover, but i would have thought i could block it, although the duets defense flip would be a double positive due to mercurial and sidestep harm put together. ---------- Post added at 10:03 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:57 PM ---------- and in sword dance it says 'once the strike is resolved finish the movement action' does that mean finish the action as in end it, or complete it? and also also, if the duet gets its push 4" trigger do you push 4" before or after the you complete the walk?
  4. after just having both my victorias screwed by the duet on turn two, i thought; its a bit unfair that arcanists get the best model in the game, i know they're paying 14ss for it but still... Don't get me wrong, all factions are equal and the game is extremely fair, as appose to 40k where some armies are obviously superior, but, i would like to see each faction having a 14ss model as good as the duet, otherwise, arcanists having a model that can mash up anyone else in the game and no other factions having any individual model equal to it does make it a bit one sided. Basically, what i'm saying is that every crew should have a big expensive model that is as good as the duet, does anyone agree? (and nekima doesn't count cause she is nowhere near duet level)

If a master or henchman has the merc ability then they can pair up with another master from a differant faction in a brawl aslong as they're not the hiring master, i know that, but in victorias stats, 'for money' says she can role with another master but you lose 5ss, but she is a merc so i could have her with another master for free anyway, so, was the 'merc leader in another faction in a brawl' rule made after the 'for money' ability, and if so is the 'for money' rule is out-dated and no longer aplicable?

  11. Just acouple of things i need to know about avatar viktoria, whats its casting? what do i need to flip to cast 'compelled by masamune'? is it fast/instinctual? and what does serpents strike do?

After buying afew avatars and then realizing that most arent worth the hassel, i decided that before i buy some more, im going to proxy and test them, and for this reason, i was wondering if anyone could show some of AResputina stats, i know all of her abilities, i just need to know her Wk/Charge, wounds, defence, combat, casting etcetera... also, is 'instill carvings a spell, and if so what do i need to cast it? basicly, if you posted a picture of the page from the book that would be ideal, thanks
  13. gunsmith is always good if you need a shooter, or... papa loco with a nurse, she makes him re-activate, he runs in then casts 'take ya with me' then when he re-activates makes two dynamite stick attacks then BOOM! (causing atleast 17 dg to everyone around you) -fantastic if the oponant has claim jump, or if you facing a crew that bunches up

  17. one of my favourite things about this game is how they've discreetly woven in secret little un-expected things like the pide piper, Lady justice and pandoras box. clever

Thank you Mr Ratty, My opponent simply got confused as in the rules manual page 23 it says that the black joker must always be used whenever revealed, even if it is revealed with the red joker, whereas i would think that they are two different flips, so it isn't being revealed with the red joker, it's still being used, in addition to the red joker
  19. need help quickly! gunslinger had a straight flip and i cheated in a red joker, so that's severe damage, and another flip, which was a black joker, so, i thought it was severe damage and no damage, but my opponent seems to think the black joker cancels out all damage, i need to know quickly, do i do just severe damage and no damage, or no damage at all? ---------- Post added at 11:12 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:08 PM ---------- i thought that the red joker flip and the black joker flip are two different flips, so the black would cancel one flip, not the whole attack.
  20. hamelin and Colette are two of the best crews in the game, i would agree that they are autowins if you play them right, so i would go with lady J out of those three, she would be the most fun, i started with Zoraida, simple master, simple crew, good for objectives, but no match for the collettes and hamelins, another down side to collette and hamelin is that they have set crews, showgirls for collette, and ht 1 harmless models for hamelin, so you cant really vary it up, at least with Lady J or Zoraida you have allot more freedom with your crew, or if you just want to win every game, collette with a coryphee duet.

I know that to hire mercenaries you have to pay an additional soulstone, but if Zoraida were to hire a gunsmith with her ability to hire models with wp4 or less, would i have to pay an additional soulstone? i was told i had to, but, if you have to pay +1 for any model from another faction, then whats the point in mercenaries?
  22. whats happening forum? im just recently getting back into malifuax and still havent got book 3, i need the stats for the Gupps (base size/soulstone cost/defence/wounds etc,...) if anyone could reply with them it would be greatly appreciated, thanks
  23. i keep asking everywhere but getting no reply, so... as Von Schill is a merc and a henchman can he be a henchman with a master from another faction in a brawl?
  24. i know Coraphees have an ability that says they can only be hired by Arcanist masters, but Hoffman can hire Arcanist constructs and gives friendly constructs the ability to ignore any of their listed abilities, so if Hoffman makes the Coraphee ignore its 'Arcanist asset' ability, surely Hoffman can hire them? also, Karai can hire spirits from any faction, so in a brawl can she team up with dreamer, who is a spirit
