    I recon I could make a pretty confident guess from this, can't be long until Webby puts the pack out to see if I'm right ;-) I usually can't get away during the last weekend of Feb but colour me very interested in this. Looks like it'll be ace.

    Hey guys, I'm keen to make a start on the TT models I bought during Gencon (Miaski, archers, Yamaziko) over the weekend but I've hit a bit of a wall trying to decide on a colour scheme. I quite like the mustard yellow from the artwork but I'm hoping some of you nice folks could help me find some inspiration for other schemes. Have you seen or done something really cool with these models? Any help will be greatly appreciated :-) Thanks.

    I recon I should be able to make it down for this. What's parking like around the venue, am I better off on the train?

    Not sure painting parts on the sprue is a good idea, seen it done with GW models and it can lead to problems when removing the parts from the frame. You also don't want to find mild lines or gaps after you've painted the mini.

    The rules pack sounds like a lot of fun, I just hope I have enough cash left after my trip to Norway to be able to come.

    I've mostly been using the Citadel stuff and Army Painter. AP spray seems like a mixed bag. Their dragon red was great but the white was aweful, it's left a chalky gunk on the models. I have heard good stories about Halfords own brand and Plastikote but I've not tried them myself yet.

    I'm looking forward to trying mine out when they arrive. Sounds like these will be easier to work with than the plastic/resin mix that PP use (which I found a pain to clean up).
