  1. Welp. After lurking for several months I'm thinking about giving vassal another shot. Anyone free Monday night around 9:00 P.M. - 2:00 A.M. PST?
  2. Hey all! I'll be around this Sunday from 1-5 for more demos! If anyone is in the area come on down to get some games in!
  3. Hello again everyone! Our new day for Malifaux is on Sunday! Our store opens at 11 AM and closes at 7 PM. Throughout that time, Malifaux players have priority for table space! I will be running M2E Demo's and plan on having plenty of events (as you can see) for the remainder of the beta! If you guys have any questions let me know! Devin Sadler - Sales Advisor & Local Henchmen Location - 7701 White Lane #A1 Bakersfield, CA 93309 Store Phone Number - (661) 381-7686
  4. Hey everyone! The details for the tournament are below - 45 SS 2.0 Beta Rules NO Entry Fee This event will be for our players to test out the new rules and new stat cards for their models! Proxies are allowed for this event as well, regardless of if you have the crew or not. If it is a part of the current beta, proxies for it are allowed. This event will count towards the League! So make sure to post your game results to score those points! Devin Sadler - Sales Advisor & Local Henchmen Location - 7701 White Lane #A1 Bakersfield, CA 93309 Store Phone Number - (661) 381-7686
  5. Hello everyone! Starting on the 1st of July will be our 2.0 Beta League! With the Beta having gone through its first month of tweaking, now is the best time to jump in and check out the new rules! This League will have a point based system for determining prizes. The criteria will be based on Games Played, Wins, Posts on the Wyrd Forums, as well as if the Crew is Painted or not. The Point System - Each Game Played = 2 Points Each Win = 2 Points Each Post on the Forums = 2 Points Played with a Fully Painted Crew (Proxies DO NOT COUNT toward this point) = 1 Point The entry fee for this event is 5$ and will go towards prizes, depending on the amount of players will decide how many prizes are up for grabs. Players may post their games on the Beta Forums. This is not required, but it has the perk of extra Points. You will receive your points as soon as you link your forum battle report to our Malifaux Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/193430800770478/). Both players can earn points for this, each player will give his/her input as well as their objectives for the game. Since some of the models are not yet available, Proxies are allowed. If the crew is available and you do NOT have it, you can Proxy what you have in place of the Crew you are planning on playing. You CAN NOT gain the Fully Painted Crew point using Proxies. Games will only be played in the store (Otto's). The latest day and time to turn in your points will be on the 31st at 9:00 PM and no later. I will have postings for the winner(s) and prize(s) within the next week. 6. Kutos to you good sir. The faction does have its needs, I'm a recently turned fan of the Ressur's myself. Starting out with a huge list for Nico and noticing that Seamus needs something to be a bit more viable. He's not hindered, per-say, just lacking that punch that the other Masters have. The only viable Seamus crew I could see is one that includes an all WP-based offensive team. Namely Yin, The Hanged, Molly of course, and even Jack Daw. Then it just boils down to correct placement and synergy.
  7. If you want to make it even more interesting, in a Brawl, take Nico + Yan Lo for a cache of 8 SS, With a WP based list of The Hanged, Yin, and Molly. Nico can focus on picking up corpses for his shield as well as summoning shenanigans, paralyze anything that gets too close, and then have Yin or one of the Hanged tear into whatever was foolish enough to get too close! If you went for a 35 SS Brawl, you'd have a 10 cache with 2 SS left over. Potentially for Nico's Avatar, or a Totem.
  8. It's a good list for getting on the field quickly, a definite list for VP grabbing. I feel mixed about the Night Terrors as well, my only problem is I cannot remember if they are undead or spirits..or both? Also, what're you planning to use Toshiro for (I haven't used him before so I'm curious)?
  9. How's everyone doing today? Just thought I'd let everyone know I'll be in this Wednesday for another round of Demos for Malifaux! Our local group has expanded quite a bit the last few months, hopefully we'll see some more new faces this month!
  10. ...Oh, well then. It must be way too late at night for me! Thanks for the help TG!
  11. I finally found some time to download and try out this amazing idea. Problem is, Vassal isn't opening the model. All it shows is that my mouse changes from the pointer to the hourglass. So...I feel like a gremlin trying to understand a how electricity lights a light bulb. Any ideas?
  12. This month we're introducing something new to our local players. Each round will have a different amount of Soulstones to use for creating your crew. The first round gives our players 30 SS, the second round with 20 SS, and the third round with 10 SS. There will be a pool of 60 SS to create a list for the tournament. In this list players will include who they will use as their Masters, and also all minions with any cost reductions or increases (I.e Comes Cheap or Mercenary's additional cost). All Strategies and Schemes are open and available each round, players will choose a single faction to play throughout the tournament as well. The entry fee for this event is 5$ and starts at 1:00 PM. Prizes will depend on the amount of players. Hoping to see some new faces tomorrow! Feel free to stop by our shop and jump in the tournament or say hello!
  13. I would say the crooligans are quite the opposite. They are very specific in their use, but still extremely handy with scenarios that have objectives in my opinion.
  14. So..is there still time to jump on this train of epicness??
