30 stones, meifeng, rail golem, duet, LSA, 7 cache?

I'm not sure why you think these guys are weaker than other 10 thunder masters. UK Rocky just recently won the UK GT playing nothing but jakob in every game.

I'm not sure if you can still get them from the website, I found a company on amazon that still had one so that's where i got mine, but it was only a few weeks ago. Also note, the tiles connect together with little connectors that come with the board so it works really great in play and wont shift around. also the boards have little feet that go where the connectors are when storing so it all stacks up in the box really nice and you dont have to worry about ur static grass or paint getting rubbed off.

sorry for bumping this super old thread but i thought I could add to it because there's no pictures of the board in here and I've got mine and I'm about half finished painting and grassing it up. at 3 tiles by 3 tiles its only 27 inches across so i've still gotta finish the other 7 to get up to 3'x3' but it was really easy and looks great! sorry for the crappy iphone pic.

Yamaziko is another option, you could give up a stone and run Torekage and her.

if i understand it correctly page 15 of the rules manual the defending model must be withing 1 inch of the terrain feature to receive cover so he is right you don't have cover outside of the woods and he does inside if you are not close to the edge of the woods.

Has anyone run Misaki at really low SS matches? I feel like Yamaziko and 1 Torakage is pretty core on her and under 25 SS there's so little room for anything. I think wastrel's and Orian will really help but right now at 20ss I'm running her with Yamaziko, Torakage, Shen, and a desperate merc, and at 15ss I'm not even sure what I'd do. Probably drop Yamaziko. Anyone have any experience with her with under 25 stones?

if an action may be interrupted to do something else the ability will specifically state so. for example the Torakage's ability which lets them interrupt a walk action to make a ranged attack. Since Your Mine does not say that it may interrupt a strike action it must be done after the action is completed.

by this interpretation of the rule why could the student of conflict not grant misaki fast outside her turn giving her +1 AP. at the start of misakis activation she receives the +1 ap and fast is resolved so there is no reason she cannot use reckless and receive another +1 AP and now have 4 general AP. I understand that this has specifically been ruled as not possible which is why I don't think this interpretation of the rules is correct. Slow and Fast must persist throughout the turn (and therefore could be shrugged off.

you have to finish the attack and then you can you're mine for the second attack.

I would swap a ten thunder's brother for an extra Torakage. having 2 can really open up some options for certain strategies and schemes.

ive got mine in a battlefoam case. I think some of them (i'm looking at you misaki) would be hard to put in a troop tray, but in pluck foam its no problem. I've found its a lot easier if you actually put the mini base side up into the tray.

yeah i was brainstorming how I would take down a really tough model like a rail golem or a the duet or snow storm and thought hans + misaki might be more effective than trying running at them with ototo or plunking them with archers. So if I was going to use him it would probably be to replace my beat stick rather than any archers. And even then only if lots of points were locked up in a single hard to kill model.
