Or give him +2 dmg with critical strike (and +3 if you're lucky on the card draw). Or an auto 2-suit trigger.
Still a costly combo, though.

I think not, unless it's specified in the spell description like rasputina's ice pillar.

Picks his nose with his staff.

Mmmmm...was wondering...mechanical traps? Should be ht1, but don't know if they have restrictions or what they do. Same applies to wicked dolls.
-
You can try to force them to split up, so they have to either stop growing or risk to be badly flanked. Terrain here plays big part though.
-
Not a hamelin player (well, now that he's been fixed...) but I wonder:
Maybe the nephilim 'child' can be hired...and maybe they can grow during play, too. Considering you can actually kill a couple of your models to get blood tokens it might work.
Rusty alice should be soulless and hireable, unless she has some restrictions. She's a good shooter (with headshot!).

Not having the book right here I may say something wrong but, isn't kang from mei fang crew a construct? Maybe he has some nice tricks for lazarus to assimilate, not to mention he should be ms&u member, so johann can get the +2 combat and discount.
(and well, if this works, add vanessa so I can play all of them with the viks)
-
Can't remember well but the trigger does the summoning, not the spell itself. So I guess artificial soustone works.
-
If you try this lists, fear the strategies in which model count is important. Or manage to send the viktorias in a good group of enemies ready to whirlwind *wink*
-
If they do not hate you for playing colette, why should they hate you for pandora? *wink*

I usually use Sue against Pandora ^_-

As much as I'd like it the other way, I feel egoon is right.

I don't have the stats at hand but I'd take the rail golem if he shares some suit to his cb trigger(s) with lazarus...along with some othe assimilate stuff that might come handy.
-
The ability reads: friendly models, including this model, gain the chosen suit to their Cb. The model can activate one Cb trigger using the suit. Once a trigger has been activated using the gained suit, the model loses the gained suit.
-
Ok, you can add a suit that stays until a trigger is used, but here the questions:
1-it expires in the end phase or until the model actually uses the trigger (thus creating 'loaded whirlwind' viks from turn 1)?
2-if bishop uses adaptive fighter to add a :rams to his cb, then vanessa adds another :rams , does he ends with a :rams :rams or they don't stack?
3-if I cast activate artifact twice, does it stacks? I mean, can I give a model 2 different suits in one turn? Or even the same suit twice? (yes, I'm thinking about critical strike here).
-
Somebody that lieks vanessa a lot (other than her sister) is bishop. It's still a costly model, but if you can get a bonus suit on Cb, even for one trigger only, that a good bonus.
Besides, more or less any suit is useful for bishop, so it shouldn't be too difficult finding somebody else who can benefit from it, too. (if you have a lowly :masks the viks will love an auto-whirlwind).
This makes you play a bit more together than I'm used to, but I want to test it anyway.

The TT master of book 5 will create it. (yes, zoraida players can flame me *wink*)
-
If you focus an attack with paired weapons, they get :+fate on the attack.
(guess I was...1 minute too slow to answer *wink*)

The librarian heals, and that's always a good reason to bring it along.
Trapper if you feel you need ranged support (well, there's the gunslinger...)
Flamer if you feel lucky and want to force your opponent to test morale...and teleport both viks behind his lines.
But they are costly, so you'll have to drop a ronin/gunslinger and a couple soulstones more.
-
Didn't realize they were so small...will fix.
Skin is always something strange: I don't have a standard way to do it, more or less every time it's an experiment, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. This time it's a light brown base, elf flesh highlight, brownish wash and more elf flesh highlights (if I remember well)

The ronin trigger (can remember name) that triggers 'after dealing damage' is resolved before or after the enemy model actually dies and explodes/shatters/whatever?
-
They are all from Privateer Press' Warmachine.
-
As far as my experience goes:
Ronins for strategies and schemes that involve 'number of models in half of the board', 'cause they are cheap and can put the hurt. Useful for eye for an eye, too.
Taelor for defense. She's rather slow so if she lingers near objectives she can scare the enemy (or crush them, or push them) long enough to deny VP. And it's not an easy to kill protegee.
Sue if you know WP duels will be coming (I play a lot against zoraida and pandora...). Plus, he's a good ranged support.
At 25ss I usually find myself with either no soulstones or very few models...quality over quantity, I guess *wink*
Sooner or later I'll try lazarus too, but 8ss means taelor will stay home unless we seriously start playing 35ss.

Pretty sure the 'head transplant' thing happened, and worked (well, complete paralisys aside, science can't rebuild a severed spinal cord...yet).
