Well my new friends it’s time to start the long process of painting the mounds of metal and plastic we have all acquired over gencon. For me that mound would be The nicodem box The mcmourning box Bête noire alt (because the org was sold out) Necropunks pack Zombie chihuahua 2x canine remains packs (one of each pack) 2x mindless zombie packs 2x vultures Rouge necromancy Flesh construct –alt Rafkin, the elbamer Drowned pack The hanged Crooked men pack And a guild hound pack All in all I have a lot of painting to do so hopfuly you all will be seeing a lot of models. I am not a very good or fast painter, but I thought that I might post some of my models up just to see if they are at least decently painted for table play. Hope you enjoy them even if it’s only to chuckle at them. Hopefully my painting will improve I intend to start a painting blog Look forward to more or less every model from theresurrectionists getting throw up in my blog sooner or later…. Thank you it was just brought up after my last game me and my opponent are new to the game and the rule manual just said living models without terrifying suffer it effects. Then it list what triggers it, it never said friendly or enemy. But thank you for the clarification.

Ok this might be a stupid question but terrifying models effect friendly models as well right? As in, my executioner has terrifying so any of my guildmodels that terrifying effects would suffer if they are in range of him right?

Well first off welcome to the wonderful world of Malifaux. Imyself have just recently started your problem doesn’t seem to be tactics but practice,I have found both in this game and in others it is easier to learn specifics with your units (or models) by playing small games this helps you because there are not as many distractions on the board allowing you to learn each models quirks and tricks then as you learn you slowly add models this way your only learninga few models at a time instead of a whole crew. A friend and I just started to play Malifaux recently, hepicked the dreamer as his first crew and I picked Seamus as mine. The other daywe had are first game and by the end he still had most of his crew and all I hadleft was avatar Seamus who was sitting on top of my claim jump and Madame Sybelle who was running er.., Shambling off into the far end of hisdeployment zone. Lucky for me he focused on killing all my crew and forgot hismain Objective he ended the game with 1 VP to my 3 VP. But I’m worried thedreamers crew slapped the crap out of me and I’m looking for some advice on howto play Seamus and his crew against the dreamer. Any help will be appreciated. Seconded after a few games I have found that yes grave sprit is less than help full, so I went and got myself a little new friend. Secondly I have noticed that the convicted gunslinger is good but winds up not fitting in the crew very well, he always winds up getting separated and alone and therefore dead, so I swapped him with a dead doxy which I’m hoping will not be inclined to wander off and die. And lastly I’m thinking that when I expanded my force up to 35pts I’m going to add miss molly and her necromantic machine.

I have recently startedMalifaux and my first two purchases were the lady J and Seamus boxes and I lovedSeamus and the bells sadly most don’t seem to care for him much, but I am notso easily dissuaded I am looking for some help to make a good list with what I have(and please don’t say get a different master) I admit that I will most likely needto get some extra pieces down the road but what I have now is what I need touse. So far I have 2: dead doxys, 3: belles, Syblle,grave spirit and a convicted gunslinger (I think I might order the copycatkiller soon) This is the list so far the Doxys and belles can besummoned with corpes tokens after things start to eat the drit. I am just lookingfor good advice thank you all in advance. Hello I’m Travis. After several years of painting and trying to play GW products I had to find games to fulfill my table top war game addiction or TTWG as my friends call it and I found other wonder full games one being Malifaux, the others being PP’s (yes I play all three systems more or less) I found that I could play all this systems with multiple armys for each game, for the same price more or less than it cost to play GW’s two games. Plus now I’ll never be bored to death by paint my ten thousandth blue Smerf. I love Malifaux for its odd take on alternate earth that and I saw the Seamus box and had to get it. I also have the lady J box and am trying to demo games to my friends trying to convert them. so long and stay safe, cheshirecat
