Hi guys aint been on in awhile and looking at getting back into malifaux again. Downloaded the cards and stuff anybody got and sort of ideas of combos of guys with levi the one i seen is the large steampunk arachnid as something. Is there any others people have seen id like to try them out.

Does avatar hamlin still have the ability to respawn rats round him or is casting his spell to dicarde cards and get rats the only way?

You could easily grow hamlins rats by just spaming one stoilen a turn and then sacrificing it for a spell and thus spawn a rat due to the ability of a stolen as this is the only way i seen a way to grow his crew.

hi there i new to collodi i need help with him i have the boxset plus a widow weaver and three more wicked dolls is there anything else needed? i could also do with any tips and tricks and other stuff please help.

i am a levi player and was wondering if anybody has taken collodi with him? if so which other models would be recomendade to go with them and how did you do with collodi

Just watch out for protect chains going on with hoffman and his guardian it is a mean combo. Your best bet to combat this is when you do damage to something in the protect chain you have to keep going so two swarms of spiders on something with abit of electrical fire or something like that could help. If you could get hold of a rusty alice she can be handy yes it cost 9 soulstones but she has a spell rust which ignors armour and causes slow with a dg flip of 3/4/5 so it is ok 12 inch range so not bad. She can also use ramos's ca which is better than hers so go for it plus if he has any abilities with it she can take them. You can not use any template things round hoffman within 3 inch of him as he negates it but best option is find the guardian/guardians and destroy the protect chains. Keep summoning either eletrical creation to destroy stuff or better summon spiders to swarm him once he starting to take damage keep going beware of the mobile toolkit hoffman can take it heals something it heals hoffman one wound so take this out priority. Question. Do you know what models he is fielding? If so what are they ? I its the peace keeper beware of flurry and dragging effects

best cuddle i seen so far is jack daw yes he can make you lose his hands but if you get his awesome aura down to stop cheating and soulstoning then just hit him with everything you got i prefer levi and unnatural wasteing and then turn him into and spa yes he can return at a stolan but at 3 inch distance he pretty much a sorry state and if you can kill the other stolen before end of turn then of course hamlin cant return muhahahaaa!!! sorry i like my post as i nearly pulled it off

i was close last night at pulling off the tricks i been thinking but the damn rat catcher has armour if within 3 inch but i think the guy was slightly cheating with his measurements but even with that i only lost 6-5

right so plan is splat hamlin and rat catchers with alice and levi and then use spas and desolation engine to kill rats and make more so i can make advantage of ashes and dust auras

are rats classed as living models then i just want to turn into rats into spas so ican keep refreshing as i know how they can over run anybdoy no matter how good they are ---------- Post added at 01:19 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:12 PM ---------- not really as by the time the next turn comes they all have to take df 10 duels or loose two wds but if ashes and dust is behind the it is a 4 inch aura that makes them take def 12 duels so if the rat catcher gone they will all die anyway thats why i wanted to know if i can turn them with spa desolation warping trigger or with levis necrotic unmaking.

So turning a rat catcher is turned in to an spa the rats are out of the aura so i then can change them into spas

Hi there i was just wanting to clarify that steam pucnk abominations and desolation engines can turn rats into spa's. i have read both rules and cannot agree on which takes presidence. as the trigger of the spa's and de is that when the enemy is killed it does not drop a counter but instead place a spa in base contact with model. but at the same time rats can be re-summoned instantly if with in 6 inch of rat catcher so i was wondering weither i can get spa's while hamlin and his rats can have his rat back. I know rats have a thing to stop things being summoned from them but this trigger is not summoning something it is transforming the rat to an spa so i thought it would get round this rat problem. Need help sorting out coz it may help me win or lose against hamlin.

I have a problem with one master and that is hoffman!!! Everytime i play hoffman i cannot win. I seem to dram claim jump or something like that where i need significant models. The problem is in a 35ss match hoffman puts out ryle peacekeeper two guardians and a toolkit plus some other things and he just sits on my objective and destroys me with ryle. i can generally kill one or two things before i get smashed. he just sits there and assimalates protect on hoffman cast it on ryle then link in a guardian to cast same on hoffman then with his other he casts protect on peacekeeper. anytime i try get close with spa's or desolation engines i get controlled and then slaughtered. Any help to beat this?

So when summoning with ramos i know the small spiders come on 40mm to 50 mm bases with three on them do i need to buy some blisters and stick a single spider to a 30mm base to symbolise a single spider or is it better to put the 50mm base and put a dice with the side three showing to symbolise a single spider? so is it worth taking a large steam punk arachnid aswell as the swarms? I looking to learn ramos so i can play doubles with my mate who runs a mean hoffman list. I dont have the avatar of ramos i just bought the box set and stuck my hands together twice while sticking the executioner together. I was also wondering weither the executioner is worth taking aswsell as a gunsmith.

you know when summoning spiders do they come in swarm form or will i need to mount afew single spiders on 30mm bases till i have 3 then swarm them to change to a swarm spider group on 40-50mm base. Is the brass arachnid worth takeing? band thank you for the assistace i know how a terrible movement 3 can be as levi has the same but of course levi can take 2 wounds to walk which helps.
