I was hoping to get people's thoughts on how to replicate useful non-magical abilities from the minis game. For instance, one of my players wants to have the Retreat to Cover ability from the Freikorps Trapper. (0) Retreat to Cover: Discard a card to push this model up to 4" in any direction. This Action may only be taken while this model is engaged. Now obviously I would not give carte blanche to copy any ability in the minis game, as some would be horrifically OP, but I feel like this one and some others are reasonable to allow. Are there any "official" rules on how a Fated can gain a non-magical ability like this? At this point, I'm just allowing them to take such an ability when they normally would gain a manifested power, subject to FM discretion, of course. Or do you think this would be better to take up a General Talent slot?

Question for those more experienced with the new Hamelin than I. How do you get Blighted on your own models most effectively? My thought is to have your rats bite them first turn. The other option is to have the Rat King do a Spray of Filth when your other models are close. But that method requires good positioning and a convenient enemy model to kill. Anyone else have any good strategies?

Can the Viks cast Sisters in Battle twice to get two sub effects, ie Fury and Unfailing? Or is this an example of same named effects not stacking (is the effect named "Sisters in Battle" or "Fury"?) In this thread it says the Nurse can Massive Dose multiple times. Is this the same thing? So does that mean there is no true "simultaneous" events in this game? Everything must be resolved serially in the order of the active player's choosing? On a related note, when do effects or abilites end during the death of a model? For instance, does Voracious Rats end before or after Hamelin dies? Does he generate a rat for his own death as well, or does the ability end before he dies?
