Malifaux has been invited to participate in the local GT again, this time as a 2 day event!! Five 50 soulstone rounds over 2 days at Atomic Empire at 3400 Westgate Dr, Durham, NC 27707 Saturday, March 12th - Sunday, March 13th with first round at 9:30am. These will be 2:30 rounds; 3 on Saturday, and 2 on Sunday. Sunday start will be at 9:30am with awards at 4:00pm. *The "rules pack" is linked, but was written by the WHFB guys. The cost of the tournament has been lowered, with pre-registration of $25 until 27th February, and $32 thereafter. Payments can be made to paypal@atomicempire.com. I, for one will support their venture to Chicago, and if they bring anything fun, I'm sure I'll be ninja shopping for the unfortunate souls in NC who could not make the trek North... ?

It's 2 weeks until Mid-Winter Ball! We're gearing up for a really fun day! There will be costumes with an opportunity to win a translucent crew box of the winner's CHOICE! Painting contest! John Fox (mrbedlam) and I are bringing Malifaux to a local RPG/gaming convention in Charlotte, NC for the first time in November (13-15th) and we're pretty excited. Due to the nature of the Con and our newer growing scene, we're exploring the alternate tournament formats and will be running a Henchmen Hardcore event on the Friday (7pm) and Sunday (10am) and a Story Encounter on Saturday (10am). We're hoping to get a lot of player support to show that Malifaux is part of the gaming scene and that this game is relevant. Three round, 50 soulstone, Fixed Faction, GG15 tournament to kick off Grail Quest VII Warhammer GT at Atomic Empire in Durham, NC. The Warhammer Fantasy guys have graciously invited me to run Malifaux for the first day of their GT weekend this year and we are all pretty excited about it!
