  1. WWWWOOOOWWW it has been a long time since I posted anything, felt a :1_Exhausted_Puppet: in the humidity that we got and since I had nothing spray panted I had to wait till it went a way and built some skorne models for hordes that I will be starting. I have painted most of LadyJ need to paint the water and here shoes then the base, Have also done some work on one of the skorne savages I wanted to get one painted and take a look at the paint scheme I had in mind, after the savage I will finish ladyJ and here crew before I work on the rest of the skorne. Here is ladyJ tested out more of my P3 paints on her Here is the skorne savage
  2. OMG TWO COMMENTS I AM AS GITE AS A SCHOOL GIRL HAHAHAH Johans coat was really hard to paint and I messed it up really badly the back half I like but the head bit does not seem to fit I think the idea of mixing two colors should be done on something like a jacket or something smooth and flat. I will try it one Pandora when I get around to picking her up, but thank you for the comment. I was thinking red but the only red paint I have is vary dark and would not pop out that much so I went with the green which I think kind of plays with the role of the green fire, since I went with the idea when one of the undead is burnt what color would it give off and went with green and thought the death marshals would slowly turn to the undead them self's over time and the skin and eyes would show this. I have finished off Judge and went with a similar look to the death marshal since I think the guild would at least had out the clothing to let people know that they worked for the guild so I wanted them to be more corresponding looking unlike the outcast which are just random people that have come together to fight and make a profit. Here are the pic's not that great but I will try to get some better ones later.
  3. Here is one of the death marshals done, well almost. I still need to do his eyes and the sand that is on the base, But I am unsure how to paint the eyes. Do I paint the eyes like they are human or go like a unnatural look with green or red eyes, I like the idea of the red eyes but I don't know how that will come across as they will seem vary dark and hard to tell that they are painted. I also got in some p3 paints today, used them to paint up the model's flames and gun, with the use of the green paint form cryx and the circle of orboros paint sets. Here is the mini
  4. that is the most disturbing model I have ever seen "me like it long time" I think that is the best way to put it, it's been added to the inspiration box keep up the good work
  5. It's alive It's alive, not human but it's alive :1_Happy_Puppet1:
  6. looking to sell off some orks or trade them for malifaux miniatures, let me know if you are interested in trade as for selling them I am looking for $80. 1 ork warboss 40 ork boyz, 4 with big shootas 11 nobz 3 ork kopptas (3 other vary rough ones) 1 trukk 5 lootas ork codex bitz
  7. Here is an update, the vik is almost done just need to do a few details. I think she has come out vary good, tho she is vary dark with lots of black. I went with the idea of the dark color scheme since she is supposed to me a never born, and thought that going with a dark scheme would carry this theme. here is a group shot of the crew
  8. wood, wood, wood give it to us give us the great wood. sorry had to get that out, looks good, I agree a brown on the string would look good, maybe the same as her hair. I don't think we need a sneak peak I think we are mature enough to wait
  9. Have finished my work on the vik and have also started painting it, I hope to get it done in the next few days. I am not super happy with it but it is the best I can do with the skills that I have, the left arm is bit bigger then the right because from what I understand is that one vik is the never born and the other is human. With going with this and the knowledge that she can shape shift I made it a mans arm since I didn't think that vik would be able to do this, so it would change it's arm to do this and that is how and why it looks the way it does. I am also super happy that I have gotten over a 1000 views, I hope you guys like the vik. also if anyone is wondering why she is holding a staff it does have a sword on the end of it, its just that the white paint I use on the model is the same as the white background so it looks invisible
  10. good job I like the death marshal, will be painting my guys up in a few weeks with hope. keep up the good work:1_Happy_Puppet2:
  11. Finished taelor, well almost. still need to go and do the eyes and put black on the edge of the base but she is done for the most part. I have not done any work on the vik that I am working on, ran out of green stuff and the small amount I had left was old and not working to well as it was just falling apart. I will be picking up a new camera in the next few days that will be able to take better pictures of my small crew. In the mean time I started work on a friends beastmen army, I hate painting so many of the same miniatures :Sad_Puppet2:, also have finally been forced out of games workshop, can no longer afford the mini's but hay I have found wyrd and a few other companies that make games I like. Now I just need to convince one person to want to play a game form time to time. I am looking forward to ordering some P3 paints, since I have only about 20 paints that I use and am slowly running out.
  12. most likely somewhere between $30 to $60, closer to the $30 tho, it will be lower if the person has to pay shipping but if your friend pays for shipping people will pay a bit more.
  13. If you want to have little metallic you could paint it like a car, as in a car is metallic under the paint, so you could do your grey over the model as a hole. To show that it is metal you would need to put some paint chips with a metallic paint to give it the impression that it is a metal killing machine with a paint coat over the metal. To do the paint chips you could add rust(brown/bronze) and a sharp silver at the edges of it. you can do this through painting or paint it all sliver or whatever metal chips you want let it dry, then place salt or sand on the model paint it the color you would like then pick the salt or sand off and it will give you a chipped look. You can do it how ever you want as long as you think it looks cool and keep up the good work :1_Happy_Puppet2:
  14. This is something I thought of when I was going through a few old boxes of models and found some of the first miniatures I ever painted when I was 12, I had to laugh at the memory that I thought I could win the golden demon and I had put so much work into them. when in reality I used paint form walmart and used primer for painting wall to base coat them. Here is a picture form left (oldest) to right (newest) painting that I have done over the last 7 years, tho I have only painted for a total of 3 year going in and out of the hobby. why am I posting this well I would like to see where we all started off with painting and how far we have gotten since then, so please post a picture of the models you have painted since you started.
  15. Could you tell use what you usually do, like just talk about things, play music, trade tips. and things like every one paints the same model and see how we each went about painting it. It sounds interesting and would like to know what you guys usually do. also is it like playing Call of Duty with like 8 year olds talking and swearing every min.
