  1. Darn! Missed that part
  2. I have a different take on it. Just bare with me for a second and I will explain my train of thoughts. For reference Collodis “My Bidding: After damaging target non-Leader, the target immediately performs a (1) Action chosen and controlled by this model's controller. This Action may not declare Triggers.” (p51 small book). If the model is reduced to 0 Wounds it is immediately removed from the game as killed. So Collodi attacks Killjoy with Pull the Strings. Declares one trigger (step 4) and determine success (step 5). The damage dealt to Killjoy reduces him to 0 wounds. And now we have two things happening at the same time. The “call out-box” on page 51 for general timings only refers to triggers and abilities, and I would say that being reduced to 0wd qualify as nether. So the controlling player my not chose in witch order this is resolved. So as I see it, the only way to figure this timeline out is to check witch rule is more specific and let that one overrule the other one. They bother happen “immediately” so no help their, but I would rule that “reduced to 0 wounds” is way more specific then “after damaging”. So with that said, Killjoy is removed from the game as killed before Collodis trigger can happen.
  3. So I finely pulled my thumb out from my ass to answer. It has been a hectic month to keep it short, and I wouldn’t really bothered answering if you didn’t think this where going to be an interesting one Omenbringer. @ Godlyness, that call out box made it all very clear, so thank you for pointing that out. @ Egoon, 2/4/8 cheatable damage seemed a bit too strong with out fate modifiers, that is how ever how we unfortunately played it. Since neither off us cud find why it should be ruled as an opposed duel. Don’t ask! Guess we both flipped black jokers on that one But the ting with the piglets set off and bound by law all of us down at the club are in consensus that what it really says contradicts how we think it’s supposed to be played. I think the term is Raw Vs. Rai, correct me if I’m wrong. First sentence under Declare Action and Spend AP (p35 small book) The player begins an Action by announcing to her opponent what Action the model is taking. And since Arrest id phrased “This model must discard a card to take a Walk or Charge action” You have to discard a card before announcing what you are up to. Witch creates a loophole since no AP is being spent. In shot, I’m forced to charge but I can’t announce that since I don’t have the card to discard. And to break that loophole we must answer the question “Witch rule is more specific” and let that rule over rule the other one. So we just House Ruled it. No are not considered taking an action until you have spent AP for it.
  4. Could I get added? Thanks. Player name:Bahoola (bahoola84@gmail.com) Contry: Sweden City: Kalmar Store: Narrens Spel och Tillbehör http://www.narrenspel.se/
  5. A little fast side-track here. Can you be reduced to blow 0 wounds, have they changed that from 1,5? Recalling the Slow to die healing on shilling and librarian.
  6. Don't know if this helps you out. To me the wording 'stil' in play only implicate that the model has to be their. Meaning, not dead. Otherwise it's still in play.
  7. Two more questions after a gaming some evenings ago. (1) Bound by Law (Ca 5 / TN: 13 / Rst: Wp / Rg: 12): Target suffers 2 damage. Undead targets suffer 2/4/8 damage instead. Target gains the following Condition until the end of the turn: “Arrest: This model must discard a card to take a Walk or Charge action.” If you attack an Undead model do you treat the attack as an opposed duel. Check for difference and calculate Fate modifiers. Or do you just Flip a card and deal 2/4/8 cheatable damage? Second question. I’m sure of that it must be a thread on this some where, but my computer skills can’t find it. “ Stampede: After damaging, this model suffers 1 damage and must Charge the closest legal target which it is not engaged with. This Charge may be made while engaged. This model may only declare this trigger once per activation.” A Piglet is forced to pig charge The Judge and on its first attack it triggers Stampede. The next target, Exorcist is standing a little less then 3” away from Judge. So the piglet can be placed so both Judge and Exorcist is within 1” from the stampeding piglet. Two attacks are made ageist Exorcist. Can the piglet still perform its last ML action against The Judge witch it resaved from its first charge action? My take on it is NO. The two ML actions you are allowed to take are a part of the charge action. So when you are forced to perform another action the first action ends. Edited by Bahoola, Today, 01:01 AM. Ha! That tile actually formed another question for me. Let’s say that the piglet has the Arrest condition and activates more then 2” away from a gremlin and I don’t have anny cards in my hand. Witch rule is more specific? Set'er Off: When this model declares an action if it is not engaged or within 2" of a friendly Gremlin, it must take a Charge action if there is a legal target available. Or “Arrest: This model must discard a card to take a Walk or Charge action.”
  8. Very nice markers indeed!
  9. Oh, feels cheesy, and makes me terrified of Obey!
  10. In general, can you commit suicide with the model you are currently controlling model? And if I do, is it considered as Killed? If I have 5 or fewer wounds remaining on Pere, can I use Oopsie to kill my self? And, can I place a blast marker witch I generated throw a attack on my own model?
  11. I think I might have confused 1,5 with ME2 again I remember that in 1,5 you couldn’t commit suicide with an action. Like a rat Using “(0) Writhing Mass: This model suffers 1 Wd...” with only one wound remaining. But after a brief research I can’t find any thing that says that you can’t do that, even though my guts say no. Let’s say that I want to cast “(1) Oopsie! (Ca 4 / TN: 10tomb): All models in pulse 6" must pass a TN 13 Df duel or suffer 5 damage, then this model suffers 5 damage.” twice to kill my self and meat the criteria of “Explosive Demise 4: All models within pulse 2" suffers 4 damage when this model is killed” Is that a legal move? Or, let’s say I cast it once and after that attacks with burning stick and place one if the blast markers over my own model and kills it to get Explosive Demise of. Is that a legal move?
  12. Quick question. I’ve read on the forum that the Executioner can turn other models to undeads and synergy with the Jude. Can any one tell me how this is done?
  13. You miss my point. And it's a easy one to miss since I’m referring to how Swinedash (pigcharge) where phrased in ME1,5. Back then it said “charges nearest none-pig model” now it says “if there is a legal target available”. So if your model where the closer one you cud just put a pig in the way, screening your model and the pigcharge where off somewhere ells. Now the piglet just charges the other pig instead. But I acutely took my time to read throw all the new ME2 wave2 cards more then one time, since information do not stick in my brain. Seriously, I need a note when im going to the store to buy 3 things! Back to track now. If you add Old Major to your tactics you can still pull this move off, thanks to “An Eye on the Young'uns: Other friendly Pigs in play do not consider friendly Pigs as legal targets for a Charge Action.” Hop I’m making sense here, its way pass bed time for me now.
  14. Correct me if in wrong, but aren't most (if not al) new crewboxes around 40ss with upgrades?
  15. Thanks for all the answers! I'm defiantly going to bring this to the table to morrow. Going to drop one Slopy and play with more "special characters", might learn something new by going outside my confer zone! Lists as the title says are a bad choice if words. But I got what I wanted any way. Tips and tricks about models that function well together. Would be nice to get a few more about Masters/Models that function well with different kind of Strategis and/or schemes, as well together. To be honest, when I first got the ME2 (wave1) cards I took a look at piglets and saw that they had 2" setoff and phrased in a way that no longer can use other pigs to block LoS, and sooey down to 8", I went. That a full load of horse crap, I'm going gun line! But many off you speak highly of them, so I wonder, how do you make that work?
  16. Hehe, I wonder how something like this would work? Francois LaCroix and Slop Hauler [x8] My guess is that they won't fair so well. But hey you might lirn something new about them.
  17. For me nothing less then two will do if they hit the tabel. They are 100% better now then they where in ME1,5! I mean, thier healing ability is a (2) action now instead of a (all), they got reckless and boyou twocard!!! <3 They can heal them self now. And making thier healing to a AP cost of (2) makes all the differce! They can reckless up the bord 4" and have 3" range on thier healing. If they fall behind you can skipp healing one turn and move them 12" up the bord with reckless. And being abel to cheat from your deck when you flip a week card and need 2 or more wounds to be full is just awsomness! And if you don't need them for healing they can always debuff your opponents DF down to 4. If you shoot on you own model and cheat/flips a tomb, they can't escape the blast marker. Then you open fire with your gremlin gun line, and attack with sh4 against df4 that has an inbuild ram thanks to lennys aura. And a other of lennys aura makes all you gremlin take 1 less damage, regardless its source, making it easier for you other slop hauler to heal them back up. I cud go on forever... But i guess I've made my point, that I love them and that 5ss is way to small cost for them if you look on all the stuff they can do.
  18. I'm a bit stuck in my gremlin tactical thinking. And have been on a brake form this lovely game for about 5-6 month, so have a lot of catching up to do ;D So I was hoping on getting some assistant from this lovely community! Hers the list I use in basicly every game. Gremlins Crew - 40 - Dustup Somer Teeth Jones -- 5 Pool +Can o' Beans [1] +Family Tree [2] Skeeter X 2 [4] Bayou Gremlin [3] Bayou Gremlin [3] Bayou Gremlin [3] Bayou Gremlin [3] Lenny [9] +Show Off [1] Slop Hauler [5] Slop Hauler [5] 11SS left for models like Rami or Pigapult in 50ss games. Always buying tow additional cards if I don't draw a mask to my hand. I have all the gremlin models from ME1. Ah, I'll keep it wage and we'll se what comes up
  19. I'm not as frustrated as you are, I only play friendly games down at the club. 2-3 Games per week, love the game. And to be honest, ME2 surprised me on how god game it is. Never mind that, let's stay on trak. If I understand it correctly, according to issue#10 thier will be two gremlin crew boxes in the next release. Som'er and Ophillia. After 7 month I was kind of hoping for something new and not on the tow masters we already got... But hey, I do have a week spot for Som'er!
  20. Never mind me, your right MAKO. I'll stick to my word and leav this one aloen
  21. Okay, to avoid arguing in circles here I will make one last entry. And it’s going to be very black and white to avoid confusing, even though it’s not a black and white question. I like to address you Godlyness on referring to rules. A table is not a rule; it’s an aid to help us understand the rules. The text that explains how to read the table, that’s the rule. And if we can hold that for true, the text tell us that, when you flip/cheat a RJ you add your sever damage to your weak damage to get a number that will be the final damage done (be for armour and stuff). To clarify even further. If you read the first sentence on page 52 (small book) it says; A damage flip is required when damage is indicated by three numbers separated by slashes. These numbers represent the damage’s severity from left to right as Weak/Moderate/Severe. Witch makes sense since “no damage/1/2/3/1+3” is not listed on your cards. There are only three types of damage. Even the text about the read joker is referring to Sever (11-13) and Week (1-5) damage on page 52, same book, “The Red Joker always deals an amount of damage equal to the Severe plus the Weak damage.” It refers to it as Sever damage + Weak damage. And it means that before you have you RJ damage it is a Sever + Weak damage. So before you can add those to together Nix ability takes present and lowers the Sever Damage to a Moderated Damage. Once ageing I just want to point out that, a chart, table, culms or what ever they might be is only an aid to understand the rules, the actually text that tell us what to do.
  22. Yes, I do agree to that a RJ is its own thing and deserves a separated damage column since it deals S+W in dmg, plus your opponent aren’t allowed to cheat. So clearly it’s not a 11, 12 or 13. The reason to why I stand in the M+W camp can be narrowed down to two things. First of the keyword Sever. The RJ damage is not a Sever damage as from 11, 12 or 13. But to calculate your RJ damage you must use your Sever and Week damage as both where flipped as add them together. And since Nix is immune to the Sever part of that equation (with in 3” that is) it will be lowered to a M+W. But that has been argued before, and obviously isn’t the hole truth. It can be interpreted both ways, and its their my second standing point comes in. When rules can be interpreted tow or more ways I ask my self how it was intended to be played and if one or more of the interpretation can be seen as loopholes. Nix ability is a survival ability. And in my point of view, are intended to make him immune to all Sever damage regales of its source.
  23. I have to agree with Godlyness. Ice Mirror only allows you to draw rang and los from that model. But it's still Rasputina that's using the AP, casting the spell. So she's the one that has to be within the aura.
  24. I would rule that it's treated as a RJ that dose Moderated+Weak dmg
