Which one would u prefere?

Would the Marcus Claw and Fang box + an extra Razorspine Rattler be a good start if I'm planning on playing Marcus? Till now I only play the Rasputina, Acolyte and Joss...

Hi all, New to Rasputina and I really like the Snow Storm model. Anyone already have some practice with him? Is it worth to buy him?

Thats something i thought about, but I play with good friends only who are not competition players. Just a fun night with miniatures and a few beers :-) But I played a game with a pal the first time on this board and asked him to try to do the judge the distance thingy but is not that easy :-)

I know you're dilemma... It took me like 2 months to finally make the decision to buy 2 of the exillis boards. I got them for a very good price at total wargames. It was the best buy i could make, i love those boards..... I wanted to buy the gw but i didnt like the hills on it. I already had some boards from ziterdes but thos warent really stable... What i really like about the board is the sizes, 4x4 for malifaux, 5x5 for warmachine The way they clip together is great.... Perdita's spellbreaker says: End all effects on the target model What is an effect? is paralyzed an effect? or armour? the rulebook says: Effects is agame term referring to anything that changes a models state which imho paralyze does, or armour

Wich means the next time you play you're hangman I play my gremlins......

Thx for the replay, still a little unclear... So If I make a Swine Dash and must move 10" and after 5" I come in base to base with the first Marshall, if I dont kill him I still must move the rest of the 10"? What if that brings me in base to base with the next Marshall? No attacking him until the second Swine Dash? And yes I meant 7 wds, a severe +1

I played my Gremlins the first time tonight and I was wondering if I played the Pigs rules correct. Seemed a bit overpowered so I must be doing it wrong... Here's what happened: Activated a Warpig. Suffered a wound to receive fast +1. Warpig was more then 8" away from a gremlin so he stampedes. I used the first AP for a Swine Dash and I move the Pig in a straight line towards the nearest Enemy in LOS and during the 10" Cg I run in to 2 Death Marshalls, missing them both so no Damage done. Second AP must be a Swine Dash so moving 10" towards the next Death Marshall, Fail to hit him. Third AP, another Swine Dash, makes me move another 10" towards the Executioner and Lady Justice, wounding the Executioner 7 times, and missing LJ who in turn Riposte me and does some damage. Does this make any sense??? I'm I doing everything wrong? The questions !!!!! Can I take the Reckless action if I'm going to be out of the 8" of a gremlin and therefor must stampede? Can I really move like 30" in my activation (3x Swine Dash)? After the first Swine Dash, if I take the second I can change my course (because like the next closes enemy in LOS is to the left of my Pig)?

So except for blocking with no straight lines is a good thing, because LJ cant be the target and when a straight line is possible I only get some benefits if the executionar was a peice of scenery? I think I understand now !!!

He Guy's Played my second game yesterday and during the game I moved my Executioner in front of Lady Justice to block LOS. No clear lines could be drawn. The rulebook says that miniatures dont block LOS but have the blocking trait, What does this mean? LJ cant be te target of a spell/shooting/charge? My opponent moved to the side of the Executioner and could draw at least one clear line of site to LJ. The rules say its Obstructed, so cover against shooting? The rulebook says thats "Partial LOS". What does that mean? We couldnt find the clear answers in the rulebook? The book says models dont provide cover, page 15 (small rulebook) says the target recieves cover. Can someone please explain to me whats the point of blocking my model with a bigger base model?

Yeah my wife doesn't play tabletops but provides the snacks and beverages......

Thx for the replies guys Buildings are from Sarissa, they are absolutly great, need to order some more. The Signs are from around the net, print them in the right size and glue them on some foam, then glue them on the buildings. Simple, easy but look absolutly great.
