  1. Me too please, Player: Noble Rain Country: Eastern Canada Province: Québe City: Gatineau Store: http://www.boutiquefdb.com/
  2. With already 20 or more players, this will be a blast for sure!
  3. Hi again folks, I have a question conerning a few topics. Although I appreciate all answers, a page reference would also be very nice. First off, healing flips. One, can a model able to use soulstones heal another model by spending a soulstone? If so, how close does the healing model need to be? Secondo, let's say I have a model able to transfer damage or the effects of a strike/spell (collodi for example). Can said model transfer the damage to another model if that second model is also affected and takes enough damage to get killed? My third question boils down to timing. Does the damage from a strike/spell/other source apply to all affected models at the same time or does the player receiving the damage decide the order in which the damage is applied? (For example, model 1 takes damage first, then model 2, etc.) Thanks in advanced everyone.
  4. Ok, here's a better description of the circumstances. The executionner had 2 wounds left, he activates and takes 2 damage from poison. So, does he finish his activation and then he receives the slow to die action or, does he die (thus ending his activation) and then he uses his slow to die action? Again thanks to all for your insight.
  5. I would definately use collodi and the four marionettes. Be sure to bring extra wicked doll models cause Zoraida can always summon more of the buggers.
  6. Hello good sirs and ladies, I have a question regarding slow to die and reactivation, specifically, the executioner (the guild model that looks like peter griffin with a face mask). Lets say I kill the guy, he uses slow to die to attack and kills on of my mates and heals. Can he activate that turn? Can he reactivate that turn? Thanks in advance.
  7. As wildrage said, (sorta what I was trying to get across). I don't think players in our area ever play with malice in their hearts. I play during the day when I have time off (compressed schedule), I don't come in the evening as life gets in the way (alot). As ar as arguing goes, nothing major, you know how Zebuth and I want to be right all the time. ;-)
  8. Indeed they probably are mixing their rules a bit. In this group (as every other) people just mix up different game rules from varying systems or edition. The worst off are the 40K players who still think the system works like it did 3 editions ago.... That's just a headhach waiting to happen.
  9. Good stuff. That's what I thought but they kept arguing with me so I just let it drop.
  10. Hey All, I have a small question regarding flips and suits. Specifically, let's say I flip more then one card for a challenge (by using paired weapons or focus), the rules states that I chose which card to take. However, let's say one card is the 3 of crows and the other is 11 of mask. Can I take the 11 but use the crows suit? If so, where is it written? I ask because my gamming groupe plays it that when you flip more then one card, you can use the total of one card but the suit of the other. I can't seem to find where it is written in the manual... (maybe an errata?)
  11. I play at home and at Les frères de batailles (or soon will) In Gatineau, Canada. (the French speaking province of Québec)
  12. Lol thanks Guys/Gals. I got my two gangs today. Zoraida and the Dreamer.
  13. Thanks for the invite. Speaking of questions, where can I find more fluff? I read everything on the malifaux homepage but I'd like to read some more.
  14. I still play but I don't really get a kick out of it anymore. I have an Eldar army (ever 5000pts), and a world eater army. Like many people, I had enought of the compagny. The raise prices for no good reason. They habitualy screw their customers over. Their customer services has gone down the tube. I could and should go on but would be a waste of digital paper... The other thing I'm having problems with is the general attitudes of players concerning GW's games. When I'm winning a game, I hear no end of grief on the subject. It just makes for a bad gamming experience. I like the fact that malifaux has only a few models. I loved that about confrontation but the system was horrible and didn't work (for me anyways). Malifaux seems to have the same feel but fixed many of the bugs in confrontations system.
