but when I try that, it changes the colors of the fig itself. I've tried everything. (it may just be my phone camera) Can't seem to correct for the color shift,.. even with the photo programs,.. too close,.. green shift,.. too far,.. red/orange shift. Too fuzzy,.. too grainy,.. areas out of focus. I just suck at this really *grin* I usually have to take about a dozen pics to get one that usable for posting up here. And even then, gimp usually comes into play.

It is. Mostly because I've got to get better at my picture taking. I always feel that my models are more impressive in person. But somehow, every camera I touch comes equipped with the same lens as the camera from the DMV. You know,.. the one that even if you went in dressed to the 9's,.. somehow, when they click the picture, you come out looking like a hobo or a bag-lady?? (or am I the only one this happens to?) Anyways, the same effect seems to keep happening to the pictures of my models, and I'm trying to learn how to correct it.

trying to download this photography tutorial from miniature mentor. It comes in several pieces, and it's taking forever,... ugh,...

I'm a silly American too,.. I think in feet and inches. Someone says 67 centimeters,.. and I have no idea how far that is. Less then a meter,.. which is about 3 feet or so, I think,.. I would figure it to be about 2 feet. But I'm probably WAY off.

well,.. I started looking around because I already own the majority of models from Wyrd that interest me to paint. There's still a few that I have to get, but large and by far,.. about $40. Most of the kits run in that range. Those $300 price tags are for fully painted models. Yes they are pretty, but where's the fun in a pre-painted model?

I really gotta figure out what flesh tone they are using though. It looks fabulous.
