  1. Roll20 is a really great option for running games online, although it takes a little bit of wrangling on the part of the GM to get the card system working nicely.
  2. I don't know if there's any kind of official answer to this, but I imagine it's largely something that the Fatemaster decides. It could be a story reward or plot hook rather than just being something the players save up to buy.
  3. This is a really neat idea, and hopefully one that will draw the characters into the holiday spirit! I'm not that familiar with the lore regarding Krampus but I like the effort you've gone to!
  4. I don't have the passage on me (I think it's from the newest M2e book?), but it's described as being a huge big fancy building, grandiose, but filled with cheapest and most hastily thrown together furnishings, giving it a vibe of being both austere and tacky simultaneously.
  5. Really enjoying these! With a little tweaking I think the Church of the Moons will be perfect for one of the Destiny Steps for one of my characters
  6. I'm located in Australia, and I'm after money.
  7. So my TTB package finally arrived, with all of its bits and bobs. Lovely as all this stuff is, some of these crews I just don't play. So I'm selling three of the four limited edition models that came with it. - Hannah, Freikorps Archivist - Santana Ortega - Miss Terious Feel free to PM me if you're interested, or better yet email me at aleisterburgun@gmail.com Cheers!
  8. For advanced pursuits I think we have Friekorps, Death Marshall, Grave Servant, Steamfitter, and Tokrage. Although as a GM it recommends that you make additional advanced pursuits if you so wish. This kind of thing is prevalent throughout the whole book, the GM has a whole lot of freedom. I haven't had a chance to test the static numbers thing yet, but by the looks of it high ranking NPCs will have little difficulty turning a PC party into a puddle of gore and viscera. With rank 10 that assumes the NPC flips a 10 every time, that can be really hard to beat for a PC. It gives a little guideline, that if your PCs need to flip 5 or higher reliably to hit something, that'll be difficult to hit. Also, if they need a 5 or higher to defend, that's a pretty lethal encounter. It seems pretty straightforward to play a 'construct maker', and I think if you wanted a Marcus-esque character the definition of 'construct' is pretty vague, so it could even apply to things like chimeracy. I am in love with the options of pneumatic limbs, the whole gear section is wonderful. Everything from gatling guns to blackpowder pistols to naval cannons. There are heaps of cool options. I think my favourite part of the game is the character creation, the tarot reading is a really fun, fluffy, and organic, way to build a character. My least favourite part? I'd chalk it up to Malifaux's signature 'vagueness' when it comes to rules. Some rules take a bit of thinking to wrap your head around. Hope I've been of some help!
  9. That was neat! The use of dialogue was really solid.
  10. I've been looking through it recently, what do you think is so broken about the Magic section?
  11. Thanks! I had another look through the Fated Almanac and found that. Yeah, I suppose there are ways around the issue. Thanks!
  12. I'm hoping to start a campaign within the month, but I'm very keen. I really love the sound of some of the example adventures in the Fatemaster's Almanac. Otherwise I'm in the same boat, are you running the campaign, or are you a player?
  13. Yeah, I'm sure something could be made to work, I just thought it was an odd inconsistency.
  14. Alrighty, as soon as I got my hands on the new PDFs I dived right in, as I imagine most of us did. By and large, things make sense to me, but there are a few nigling issues I have. Looking at the old 1.5 Malifaux Rulebook, it claims it has been four years since the Breach opened. This would, in my mind, make the "bayou born" and "neverborn stolen" stations impossible. How can you have been "raised by gremlins" in the space of four years? Has the time since the Breach opened been changed, or am I crazy? Next question, is uh, how as a Fatemaster, do I balance Advanced Pursuits I make? Should I just wing it? Take a wild stab in the dark? or is there a more precise science to it? Last of all, I noticed that some creatures in the bestiary have triggers associated with their attacks, how can non-Fated ever acheive the trigger requirements if they don't flip cards? Also, general Through the Breach discussion I guess.
  15. Damn, seems I'll have to wait a while longer to try Molly out in 2.0 Thanks.
  16. I haven't been keeping up with the M2E news. Will the "Arsenal" decks contain the stat cards for the current Henchmen (Molly, Lucius, etc.)?
  17. My Relic Hunters box set has finally arrived, but looking through the stat cards included, I have a few questions. Firstly, how are wounds distributed to Mounted McCabe and his horse? What happens when one or the other reaches zero wounds? Also, the Dismount(0) ability has me confused. As written, it says "Replace this model with Lucas McCabe, Adventurer, then this model makes a healing flip." So, I'm assuming by Lucas McCabe, Adventurer, what is meant is Lucas McCabe, Dismounted. Also, as I understand, does this mean that after replacing mounted McCabe with the dismounted version, I then perform a healing flip on the mounted McCabe? It all just seems to be worded very strangely.
  18. All of this is still available, I am considering all offers.
  19. Well, I'll go for $5, a decent starter eh?
  20. This fellow wouldn't work too badly as a gunsmith.
  21. Those are some damn fine models! I love the SS Miner. I look forward to seeing more!
  22. These are gorgeous, I particularly like Sword Viktoria.
  23. Okay, I think I understand. However, does this mean that if the obscuring terrain in my first diagram was only 1" thick, model A could then draw LoS to model B?
  24. Thank you! Now, I'm pretty sure I understand this one, but I figure I'll ask anyway. Now, if Model A wants to do a ranged strike at model B, can it? Assuming the grey area is obscuring.
