Heya guys; I have just been made aware that my sneaky son has been 'stalking' my posts on several forums, and has gone and ordered me the following models as xmas gifts. He has ordered models that people have mentioned in threads of mine. So for xmas I will be getting the following minis to add to my Resser collection: Bette Noir Copycat Killer Onryo The Drowned Crooligans Dead Doxies Necropunks Zombie Chihuahua What is even better... I get the minis as soon as they arrive, no waiting for xmas day. So with the above minis and my current collection of... Mortimer Sebastian 2x Nurse 2x Vulture 2x The Hanged Killjoy 3x Punk Zombie 6x Mindless Zombie Grave Spirit 3x Crooked Man 4x Canine Remains Flesh Construct Madame Sybelle 3x Rotten Belles Molly Squidpiddge Rogue Necromancy Dead Rider I should b able to make an okay 35ss Seamus list. Hi all; If a power/spell/ability/et al. doesn't have a Ht specification, is it considered to have an infinite Ht? I ask because I have recently started using the Terraclips terrain and I have a 5 level setup (2" Ht per level). I can't say I'd be too happy if someone on ground level does a blast, and my mini at say 4th level (8" above the action) gets hit with any sort of damage from it. Same goes for pulses/blasts/abilities that have a 4" range (for example) is that effectively a 4" 'bubble' above and below that model? Or are my fears moot, because the floors/ceilings would be considered impassable to such effects (ie: no LOS)? But then, what about effects that don't need LOS, therefor negating walls, and in turn floors/ceilings? Also... Pandora's Wp ability when she is 'targetted'. Does that go off if she is charged, melee'd (with no charge), as well as when targetted with spells/ranged/ability attacks? Cheers.

Well, our game just finished (timed out lol)... I know he took it easy on me, but with that said, I am really happy with my new understanding of the game/mechanics/etc. Photo-moment of the game for me, was my Mindless Zombie out-drawing Pandora on a Wp test. LOL. 'Man' of the match however had to go to the Dead Rider. He easily took enough wounds to die 3-4 times over before he finally succumbed to a Woe. Had a great time all told, and am eagerly awaiting our next game. Kiddy gloves are coming off for the next game however. Maybe a Boxing Glove match, before we get to the Broken Glass-cloth wrapped hand matches. Cheers dbr_83 for a very enjoyable few hrs.

I like that idea, and that way I can make use of Hunting Dogs and Pack Mentality. So with that in mind, I now have... 35 SS list... From the collection of models in my OP, after reading through everyones posts, I have come up with the following list. **Warning - I'm working from my '1st Printing: Febuary 2011' rulebook. Hopefully team building hasn't changed.** 35 SS list... Nicoderm The Hanged - 8 SS Grave Spirit - 1 SS Dead Rider - 10 SS 2x Crooked Man - 4 SS each. Total - 27 SS, 8SS pool + Nico's Cache of 3 = 11 SS Starting Pool. Does that seem like a l;ist that may stand a chance against a Pandora list (in a friendly 'teaching' game)? I could drop Dead Rider for 2x Rotten Belles, or 1x Rotten Belle and a 3rd Crooked Man. If the team building rules have changed, please let me know what I've don wrong, as I won't see the new rulebook until tomorrow morning right before we start our game. Cheers

Hi guys; I played Malifaux a while back (over a year ago O.o ), and I have pretty much forgotten everything about it. I have someone coming over to try and re-teach me how to play, but I am at a loss as to what list to field. I was never very good at playing the game originally, but times have changed, and I would like to give it another go. I fear I have chosen the wrong leader to try and learn with, but it's too late now. What I do need assistance with first and fore-most is help with building a list. I will be facing a Pandora list, which I have been told will make it across the tabletop and back again in 1 turn.... whatever that is supposed to elude to. We will be playing 35 points. Here is a list of the models I have... Nicodemus - My Chosen Master. Mortimer Sebastian 2x Nurse 2x Vulture 2x The Hanged Killjoy 3x Punk Zombie 6x Mindless Zombie Grave Spirit 3x Crooked Man 4x Canine Remains Flesh Construct Madame Sybelle 2x Rotten Belles Molly Squidpiddge Rogue Necromancy Dead Rider I have been doing alot of reading on the Forums of late, so I have a rough idea of ways to use different minis (Belles, Dead Rider - for helping Nico with movement etc) and other roles of other minis I own. But when it comes time to put 35 points of them 'together'... I get 'lost'... Any help would be appreciated. Cheers

Jack Daw - Check. Will add him to my next order. I played my game this afternoon using the above minis. It was great. Crooked Men *big thumbs up*. The fear alone of their Cave In spell is enough to turn a players attention to them. That freed up my The Hanged and my summoned Rotten Belle to Lure in and Hangmans Knot a Sorrow to death in one round and in another to Lure in and Whisper From Beyond yet another Sorrow. In the end, Pandora was dropped by a Cave In, taking Severe damage from a 5 (3x Blast) damage flip. Boosted Canines took care (eventually) of Candy, and a summoned Flesh Construct working with a Lure'ing Rotten Belle, tag teamed Baby Kade to take him down. When things work... DAMN!! This Nicodem group simply ate through the Pandora group. But I'm not silly. I know I was very lucky this game. As to the above post... Store has scenery (as do I at home). I actually have a dedicated gaming room with a 6'x4' tabletop and a 8'x4' Gaming Cabinet that I built, with help from the wife. Estimating ranges is not a strong ability with me, but I do my best. Still getting my head around the idea of a 3'x3' gaming surface. Been playing on 4'x4' or 4'x6' for too long. I am slowly looking into all the different possibilities with the minis I currently own, and can't wait for my next order of goodies to arrive. Cheers for all the help/assistance guys/girls. Cheers DF
