Hey all, Very excited about this. Looks like I'm a bit late as most have booked hotels. If anyone is struggling to cover the cost of accommodation I have a spare room with a double bed just around the corner but 1. it needs to be someone I know reasonable well 2. you need to be fine with dogs. Contact me on twitter @nathanchenery or drop me an email. It's Nathan by the way.

I'd be up for more Vassel Leagues. For what it's worth I think players pick games size, faction can change between leagues and just local as I would really struggle to commit to anything else. I would say lower the gap, I think people would lose interest and it would feel like a bunch of separate leagues at 8 weeks. I think smaller groups of 4 and then 4-6week gaps. 4 weeks is month off which seems reasonable. Nathan

Yeah, I'll sort myself out.

Well I'm already in a challenge with Luke for best Outcast player this year so I'll step up to making our group a little more difficult. Not a big smack talker but just listen to episode 11 part 2 of Malibros (I know I'm way behind on all my podcast) and happy to hear someone has faith in me. Even though I did manage to completely crash out of the leagues. To Business, I'll of course be declaring Outcasts because that’s what I do. On a lunch note, I'm going to pass as I know your waiting on payment. All in all bring it on.

Yay, just wanted to confirm my place. I'll be there. Nathan

This is just a quick post but I thinking i'll do a more in depth tactics post later on. I just wanted to share how hard it was to get me head around the new Viks and how I could have easily have given up on them. It wasn't until playing Fist Full Of Fate this past weekend that things started to click. I just wondered if anyone had or is going through this? Because I have to say I'm happily back to being best friends with the Vik's and after getting my mind around the mix of 0's and how awesome Dragons Bite can be. Also by mixing up the upgrades you can have a lot of different fun. So I just wanted to support some Outcast love for the Vik's as I reckon people could easily put off but hang in there.

Fistful 'O Fate - Sunday 1st December - MORE SPACES!!
Nephilim Nate replied to Joel's topic in Europe
Cool, thanks. It was the 3rd that through me off track. Interesting, it's looking like in M2e you need to be winning with larger V.P differences then. I guess just extending the possible V.P by two means it opens up to larger numbers. Just an observation. -

Just want to say thanks again, really enjoyed the whole day which is great as I was struggling to enjoy M2e turns out I just needed to get models on the table. Lots learnt, like which Vik is which. Make sure to read player sheets right 'Plant Evidence' and 'Plant Explosives' are very different. Feedback wise it's all positive. Everything ran really well. Venue was in a great spot even just getting there you just drop off the M1 and drive straight down. Player sheets where great (despite my misreading, my fault) The timer display was great and the clarity of last turn call outs was great. Last of all to thank all my opponents Jeremy, Matt and Jimmy (less so Jimmy because of the horrible Nurse) in all seriousness the games where great fun. I'm still amazed at the positive and fair way Malifauxer's have when playing. All three games where hard thought but any disagreements were quickly talked about and agreed by both to get on with the game. I'm guessing it was the same for all as I didn't hear and big rants. So good work all. I'll shut up now....well one more thing. Joel, out of interest what do the numbers stand for next to people on the score board I just couldn't fathom what they mean. -
Hi, I'm going to have to drop out of tomorrow. Sorry for the late notice, something has come up this week which means I just don't have the time to spare. Hope all goes well and everyone has fun. Nathan

I'm in, although never plan this far ahead usually. Will have a word with the York folk as to who might want to pair up.

Malifools Campaign of Carnage 19th - 20th July 2014
Nephilim Nate replied to OldManMyke's topic in Europe
I'll be there, don't forget me. -
Some as time presses on I'm sure I'll have to miss out on this one with no other York folk going it makes it costly. It's just that tad too far. Have fun all.
-
Any further with This Doxy? no one from York is headed down, so unless I can find some company to share diesel cost and/or share a room with think I'm priced out.
-
I could be tempted to drive if there some other to share cost with. Not sure if any other York folk are going or not. Will ask around.
-
I just need to double check the weekend. Doxy are you still taking a mini bus down and could I get in on that?
-
I think this would work.

I have to say on a personal level if I'm back next year (put me down for a place now) I wouldn't try to achive the way I did this year. My second day was so much different to the first but it was much more fun to naturally get achivements in games then engener the situation which I spent second day doing. At the end of the day though however it all went down I think everyone had fun and no one felt shafted. On a side note I didn't like singing achivements (sorry Mitch)

It was great, had a really fun and relaxed weekend. Thanks to all the organisers, thanks to my Outcast brethren and as I said on twitter thanks to everyone there. It was really the people that made this such a fun weekend. I talked to most and felt everyone managed to be in good sprits the whole time, despite lack of sleep and too much drink. Negatives are really hard, not to be nice but as it was so much fun. I guess as Jimmy said territories could have been clear with a tracking system. The second day was a bit strange as I was just achievement grabbing so not really playing proper games but that was the nature of the beast. Someone already said but making territories more vital might reduce the "can we play this I need to do this what are you after" (soooo guilty of that) That's it, was a great weekend and really just had a load of fun.

Bit confused with Outcast General achievement 3: Use the Hodgepodge effigy to use the red joker twice in a turn without shuffling your deck But the joker has to get shuffled back into the deck to use it twice. Do you mean without exhausting your deck and it coming up a second time as it could with anyone?
