While I think this model looks great, and I can't wait to get some sweet gamin shenanigans on the table, I am disappointed that the gunslinger looking guy isn't the new Arcanist master.

I am pretty sure that what I see in that picture is a cool looking character holding an axe rifle. How am I the first one to be excited about the axe rifle?

Joss, the answer is always Joss. He carves through puppets pretty handily, and while he will go down it will take more resources than your opponent wants to spend doing it. Gives you time to work other aspects of your plan. I'm also in the camp of 3 Oxfordian Mages being at least 1 too many. They can be great but they are squishy and card hungry, not to mention only having all the warding runes is overkill.

I would listen to this like crazy. I'm just getting back into Malifaux after a few years away and could really use a nice tactical podcast to knock the rust off, and get me up to speed on M2E. I love the Malifools, and am listening to it right now, but I am not a huge fan of TTB, though I used to listen to it pretty regularly. I enjoyed the faction discussion and the looks at specific models, their information was very solid, but I just found some of the hosts abrasive.

Hey all, I've just started to look into Malifaux after seeing it in my local store. I picked up a couple of crews and a copy of the rulebook to get started but am having trouble finding people to play/learn with. Anyone out there feel like giving a demo to a new player, or at least putting up with my imperfect understanding of the rules? I've been playing mini games for a while now, with most of my focus being on WarmaHordes for the last few years but the style of Malifaux was just too good to pass up.
