timing of Collodi's Dolls push vs Anathema Morale test
cardshark posted a question in Malifaux Rules Discussion
Collodi's Dolls reads "If this model starts its activation further than 8" from a friendly Collodi, immediately Push this model directly toward a friendly Collodi until it is no further than 8" away."] If the doll begins its activation in the Terror range of an enemy model (aSeamus, with Anathema) , does it take a morale test BEFORE it pushes, or does the push happen first and save them from taking the test? And if they DO have to take the test, would they then push to within 8" of Collodi, and THEN make a fall back move, or would they make a fall back move and THEN push to Collodi, or would they make a fall back move and never push to Collodi? -
thanks! all my other guild stuff is quite muted, so I decided to go a little more vibrant for the guardsmen. Have yet to try my Wardens, looking forward to it...

A few more pics of my new additions- still not great photo setup, but just wanted to get some pics up:

It has been a while since I posted, thought I would start by posting the Guardsmen crew I have just been finishing up:
-
i am leaning heavily towards exorcist as well, since it is rare2 and there is only one variation so far. probably wouldn't be a unique named model. Unless maybe Lucius alt (Lucia?)

This dude would make a great conversion for a 2nd Exorcist in my Guild crew... just need to make that gun into a crossbow... -
Manifesting Viktoria Avatar: Requires 2 Viks?
cardshark replied to noidentification's topic in The Outcasts
so can you activate one Viktoria, complete all of her AP, then activate the other and use the manifest action? -
I have pinned the inside of her bent knee sideways into the side of the flame swirl- that and the contact at the mouth will be nice and solid I think haven't put it together with glue yet, as I want to paint the fire separately first.

wow i REALLY dig 'Dita's shirt, it really pops, looks like reflective pink pleather or something. -
seems to me that is precisely the reason why this trick would work, no?

That is so awesome.

I had a mispack with my NE Justice set (lady j was missing) as well as missing witchling card from my sonnia set (both boxes purchased at the same time). I have been waiting now almost 7 weeks and have not received my replacements from wyrd, despite repeated polite emails. there always seems to be some delay/confusion/USPS problem or they just plumb forgot to send it out. luckily I have lots of other things to paint and play with so I am not stressing, but I do hope i get a miss pack or miss demeanour with it when and if it ever arrives -
I would recommend selling them to someone who is not inclined to paint, and just buy a new set with the proceeds. My plan once I have all the crews I want painted, is to sell the first ones (perdita) and buy her again. PS. My favourite crew so far is my Vikkies crew, but now I am painting Lucius so we'll see...

I, too, got an extra spear-stuck Death Marshall, but unfortunately, Lady J herself was missing! Been waiting 4 weeks now for them to send her to me... argh. Hoping my patience is rewarded with a Miss Demeanour or Miss Pack.

These are really great. I might suggest a coat of matte spray to take the shine off the gloss varnish- the light reflected off the glassy coating in the "real world" is working against the illusion of lighting you are crating with your painting. I really like the Steamborg's legs! Cool choice.

What Master/other box set would y'all recommend to play with the models that come with the Dead Justice set (Dead Doxy, Punk Zombie, Drowned, Guild Autopsy, Crooked Man)? I have mostly Guild and got the set b/c I dig Lady J, but was thinking about using them as Rezzers too. Considering Seamus or Nicodemus or Molly,as my gaming group already has McMourning and Kirai. Thoughts?

nice work! I really like your Doppelganger, it hadn't even occurred to me that it might be anything other than blood and muscle colours on the back. The green veins in the ground as an overall theme is a smart idea, kudos!

Here are some WIP pics of my male desperate mercenary and the sword Vikki. I didn't like her bikini so I went a little more modest: -

Just finished Bishop, here are some pics: WIP Finished product: I used him in a game last night against Colette crew- pretty impressed, and he was somewhat underestimated by my opponent. Think I will keep with him a bit and see if I can make him work 10SS. -

finished, more or less: Will likely just add some grass at the base of the big rock- btw the rock is just a piece of bark from the garden
