I usually run Victorias Von Schill Student of Conflict Ronin Ronin 8 SS Cache It is a relatively versatile crew that can do most of the strategies. Schemes wise I usually take Assassinate and First Blood. Yes, you get out activated but this crew is so fast and hits hard enough you can do surgical strikes and then pull out to regroup. Little things like drawing a card after one of the Viks killed a model and doing the Companion chain with Viks + SoC ensures you the ability to hit models that seem out of reach or are trying to make a break for it. I am looking forward to test the crew with 1 less Ronin for Vanessa but I will have less SS and 2 Ronins is a possible 4 extra SS upon Seppeku if I ran out of SS and need the extra SS to finish off certain models/masters which happened more than once. Pro tip: Ronins usually end up protecting my back line or guard against a Stake a Claim objective.

3 years ago, my orders from them reached me within 2 weeks and i live in asia. nowadays because of the overwhelming volume of sales they handle, it can take up to 2 months for my order to reach me... one of my longstanding issues with MSG is that their online website's stock volume do not coincide with their actual warehouse ones some of the time... so if a particular item is out of stock and also OOP or out of stock at the suppliers, it may take an email or two (and hope somebody receives the email and attends to it) to find out if i will ever get the stuff i ordered. i continue to support MSG primarily because they are the very few UK based online stores that offer free shipping as well as regular sales. I can't use any of the US based online stores mainly because they charge ridiculous fees for shipping to asia. i make it a point to not buy online if i am in a hurry... coz i can just pop down to my LGS and get what i need... well unless the LGS doesn't have what i want either... *zzz*

Been wondering about running this crew. Raspy Essence of Power Von Shill Snow Storm Ice Gamin 7 SS Very low model count but relatively quick / mobile with SStorm and Von Shill. I can even get Von Shill into close combat and zap the enemy with Raspy's D.Curse and opt Von Shill to ignore the blasts. I will definitely be out activated on the first two turns... but I think after that I can be in control... Thoughts? Suggestions?

i don't buy miniatures unless i can use them (or bent on using them).... so far all the masters bar one have Avatars that are meh. Raspy LJ Perdita Ramos Victoria Ramos' Avatar strikes me as something I should have... but I am having so much fun with LJ and Perdita... I have yet to get much practice in with Ramos... Infact... I have been tinkering with an idea for Raspy but that is for another thread.

Guild technically do not have a "filth" list but they do have the ability to field generalist crews that do well on most of the strategies. My general crew is: 2 Austringers 3 Death Marshal 1 Desperate Merc / Watcher 1 Suitable Totem (Student of Conflict or Enslaved Nephilim) Thing is I run Lady Justice or Perdita, so this crew suits either of them fine. Hoffman and Lucius' crews are much different.

Vickys need Student of Conflict.

6 small and 2 large as a "base" crew. stuff like totems and support crew (soul stone miner for example) do make themselves into my crew from time to time.

remove: ice golem ice gamin add: desperate merc desperate merc essence of power and have 8 SS Rasputina functions well only when she has more than 6 SS. but this list takes some time to learn but its a good generalist list to play for most strategies.

he is one of the best masters in the arcanist faction he is extremely average when compared to the rest of the masters across all factions in malifaux, you can't judge a master based on the master themselves, the collective is what crew you can bring with them. eg. Rasputina is actually quite powerful if observed by herself... but her choice of minions results her in rather being crappy compared to what other masters can bring. Marcus and Ramos beats Rasputina simply by having better minions/crew to accompany them.

you don't even need that many colours... my palette only has ard 10.
