I think an app would fix most of the real problems here, access to updates, fluff, etc.

I'd be very interested to see a Malifaux app come out in the near future. Just think what we could do with a iPad app for rules questions and keeping track of schemes/strategies. If I had an advanced knowledge of computer programming this would be my favorite project. Its just such a great idea. Key Features: full search enabled rule book Easy to use Game Setup Walk through including a possible built in deck to flip for strategies, locations and deployment Have a in game view that keeps track of current Strategies, schemes, soulstones, and turn an easily linked search bar linked to rules forums And if it had a full rules manual you could charge $15 dollars for it, heck maybe even $20. If it was a well featured, nicely done app I'd dish out the 20 bucks for it. So what do you think? Anything more needed anything different? If we can get enough support behind this Wyrd might make it and if not someone else will. It doesn't even have to stop here we could get a line going and have an app for each major game. How nice would it be to have all codexs, rules books, etc in one lightweight device?

I got the Battle foam Malifaux bag when I got my first two crews but at this point I have 4 crews in it and its 100% full. Now thats all the gremlins, the dreamer, and Kirai. I have all models for them. While I could see 7 smallish crews in here the other 5 crews that I have just have to get switched out. I plan on trying out battlefoam backpack next and hope that it will do me.

Well that's your interpretation some people have looked at it differently and that's why a clarification needs to be made. Also the point of "may contain" needs to be clarified as per hiring or ever as it is under the hiring rules section. So the biggest question is if she could still summon her wicked dolls while running a different SF

I think part of the issue is that special forces dolls says that Zoraida may contain any number of these in addition to the standard special forces rules. I can see where there may be confusion, so yes why shouldn't a rules marshal chime in. If it was just one thing for sure they would just chime in with "exactly" or something. so... bump away keep the thread in their minds so they don't forget about it.

Yes an event is anything that happens so while buried models would ignore everything going on in play.

Well I dont see whats so hard to understand but if you cant convince them to use the forums or convince them using the rules manual, I'd find someone else to play with. I dont think that youre going to find wyrd doing a true faq anytime soon as they have other things on their plates. Plus the forums w/ rules marshalls works pretty well. Also where do your lgs think faqs come from?

Dj first while karn's tatica is slightly out of date as far as one or two erratas its still one of the best guides on the internet to winning with the dreamer. It helped me alot while learning him and since I haven't lost a game. to your first issue per the rule manual pg 13 "Buried: Some models may begin an Encounter buried, or become buried by a Talent or Spell during the Encounter. While buried, a model is out of play, but still in the game and effects on the model, including Wd it has suffered or ongoing Spells, remain on it. A buried model unburies and returns to play when an effect allows it to do so." So no need for a RM. And the third The daydreams have companion Dreamer/LCB on their cards so you may companion them to the dreamer. you're not companioning the other daydreams its just that by companioning the dreamer you activate all nominated models simultaneously, and activate one after the other.

You're right had to reread that section. In that case at least as far as specific wording in the rules manual no she should'nt be able to use the action and create said counter, because per the wording on page 18 of the rules manual under heading counters, "A model is eligible to gain a counter if, at the time it gains the counter, it has the appropriate characteristic, or possesses a talent or spell that uses it." Hrmm unless that by gaining that talent it is consider a talent that uses said counter? However even if she could gain it she wouldn't be able to drop it until she died. Also I don't think that at least as far as the spirit of the rules would allow for her to get it, but i'm not a RM. Again maybe she could use the action and just nothing happen which would of course be a waste or it wound drop next to her, but i doubt it being as the action says gain not create.

What constitutes a movement action in regards to Denial of Sanzu? A walk is obvious but what about an action that pushes or pulls a model, or switches a model with another, etc?

The Doppelganger cant use mimic to use an action at all she can only copy a basic weapon, appearance(giving it harmless), talent, a stat(wk/cg, ht, wp, or df) or a (1) spell.

Nope, done with the gremlin player going second in activations the exploding pigs going off with enough damage will kill him for good no matter what. His ability unstable necromancy gives him a wd so unless it kills him all the way, it will only help the gremlin player.

1.) Ok a model say Nekima kills killjoy, killjoy uses his slow to die action to kill Nekima. Can Killjoy then use his "(0) Eat Your Fill: This model may immediately use this Action after it kills a model with a melee attack. Heal all wounds suffered by this model and immediately end its activation."? 2.) If the above is true then can Zoraida obey Killjoy and after killing a model use the (0)? I dont think it should as its another action altogether and Slow To Die says "When this model is killed, it immediately takes a 1AP Action before being removed from play." and Obey says "Target non-Master model immediately makes a (1) Action or a Charge controlled by you. The Action selected may not cause the model to be killed or sacrificed as part of the Action. This spell may be cast once per activation."

Ok so reading on here and in the rulebook I belive that all sprits can walk through walls. However Im haveing issues convincing my friends. I tried to use the clarification on here but that didnt convince them. Am i just dumb or can sprits walk through walls?

the point is that its not about range its that if you have LOS to the nightmare than you cannot target the dreamer. So as soon as you say I target the dreamer then the dreamer player should say no your not you have los to so and so. remember that los is common knowledge and can be checked at anytime same as melee range
