  1. Amusingly, I looked over that page close to 5-6 times, and never saw that bullet point. Stupid me. :club: Thank you very much much for the quick reply.
  2. Sorry if this appears to be a silly question, but I can't seem to find the answer in the rulebook. Is it possible to fire a ranged weapon while in the engagement of an enemy? For example, if Nino was within 1" of say, a Terror Tot, could he fire his rifle against a Lelu 10" away?
  3. As we all know, there are a crap ton of uniquely named models in Malifaux, with their own stories and personalities. It makes it fairly simple when telling the opponent what a model is going to do. "Perdita is going to move over here, use this ability, and pick up that thing. In the mean time, Santiago is going to move over and the use Leadstorm, while Nino is going to stay here and send a little 'pew pew' that way." The above example is pretty easy to understand as each model has a unique name. However, I find it not a little confusing when somebody starts going: "This Guild Guard is going to use Patrol, then this Guard goes bang bang, this Guard woofs it over here, and this Guard cordons the area with that Guard over there." Not as easy to follow as the first example, in my opinion. So I'm wondering if anyone names their non-unique models, and why, if you don't mind explaining. I do name my non-unique models, or at least those models who would naturally have a name (e.i. living models, and certain undead models). For example, I named my two performers Triela and Claes (after characters from an Anime series called "Gunslinger Girl"), while I call Seamus' belles Cassandra, Vanessa, and Julia (for no particular reason; they were simply the first three names to pop in my head). As to my reasoning for naming them, there are very few models that need to be fielded, so there's no real difficulty in think up names to make each model more unique. Additionally, it helps differentiate models that need to be chosen for schemes like Grudge and Framed for Murder.
  4. Hello everyone, I've frequented the Wyrd forums for a little while, but only now have I decided to join up. I'm spontaneous like that. Anyway, I'm a McMaster University student in Hamilton, Ontario, majoring in Classics, and a member of the Hamilton's local War Gaming club, Military Interests and Gaming Society (MIGS for short). While I'm still relatively new to Malifaux, I do have a number of crews (sorry in advance if I ever use the term 'gangs', as the only other skirmish sized game I've play was Necromunda), including Seamus, Rasputina, Lilith, and most recently Perdita. I do have an incoming order with the FLGS however, I should that come in soon, I'll also have Colette as well. Anyway, it's kind of late here, and having summer classes, I need to get relatively early (bloody Romans, learn to write down your freaking prepositions...), so Good Night/Morning/Evening/Day, which ever one applies to you.
  5. Dude, I have to say I'm really, really impressed. I actually live in Hamilton, and I'm in the Call to Arms event myself, though I'm still waiting for my order to come in. I can't wait to see the Rapture crew finished, so would you kindly hurry and finish please?
