  1. Thought I'd throw this up here for your enjoyment Dreamer by Naravus, on Flickr -Nara
  2. It's painted like that. Basically, I blended white through grey and down to black and then reversed the process on the other side of the blade.
  3. Started painting this chap up so I thought I'd share it with you all. CC is appreciated and sorry for the somewhat washed out image, it was taken with my phone. Emperor's Champion by Naravus, on Flickr
  4. Ah most have just missed that while reading or something. Thank-you for the clarification, Ratty.
  5. At the beginning of each new activation step, do you need to reveal which was the real colette before secretly noting which is the new one?
  6. B or C is probably the best. You can also do a more convoluted way such as designating each card a number value on a dice and then rolling it.
  7. If he's immune to wounds I don't think he ever takes them. Interesting idea though.
  8. I'd wager its taken from the children's story.
  9. Came up with this one morning and decided it needed to be painted. It is vaguely malifaux inspired (mostly because of the story of the Hanging Tree) so I thought I'd share it with you all. Still WiP so feel free to comment on what you all like/think could be changed. Sorry if there is a better location for this to be posted, if so, feel free to move it.
  10. I love alps. All of mine (9 I think) have different hats courtesy of the malifaux accessories blister and my amazing greenstuff skills.
  11. I'd wager its a paper money as I think I read that. Historically, at least for a lot of American mining companies during the 19th century, scip was stamped copper coins with the value and the company name. Miners would be able to redeem scrip at the company store. This lead to the term "selling your soul to the company store"
  12. It just specifies enemy models. Edit: I think that Levi would still count for kidnap if he dies at any point during the game as he is still killed or sacrificed. You just place a new Levi in b2b with a waif. This is somewhat relevant: http://wyrd-games.net/forum/showthread.php?t=21685&highlight=kidnap
  13. I still can't find something which states that dmg is an effect. By calling it an effect, damage would go away during the resolve effects step as it does not list a duration. Just a thought.
  14. I don't think damage is an effect, mostly due to it not being listed under 'game effects'. Effects are "anything which changes a model's state"(RM 19) Kidnap requires models to not be in the game. A summoned model is not the original, in this case noted, model. Also, eternally shackled now reads "placed" and not summoned.
  15. So I take it if you flurry into a model, you'd have to pass the harmless test three times?
  16. Hunting partners, if I recall properly, ends at the end of each game turn...so you'd have to re-use the ability each activation.
  17. <3 Kaeris. Looking forward to the new box. Hopefully, the fire gamins don't look anything like the ice gamins.
  18. Oooo I think I'm going to make an arcanist one.
  19. How do you work out LoS through buildings, or ruins of some sort, with windows? For example, lets assume height four buildings with windows where you normally thing they would be. Can a model draw LoS through this window to a model on the other side of the building? Something like this: Ovals are enemy models, lets assume they're both HT 2.
  20. Thanks for the advice. I especially like the doppleganger and obey suggestions. I'll see if I can make em do anything next I play.
  21. For airbrushing pearlescent stuff, you'd need to do three colours to make it look right. I've never seen a company that makes a paint for miniatures, but autopaint may work somewhat well as the pigmentation/metallic particles aren't much bigger. I'll troll the webs for you and if anything pops up I'll repost. edit: this seems to be a good choice. You could probably find it on eBay easily enough if there isnt a stockist near you. http://www.jacquardproducts.com/products/pearlex/powders/
