  1. Greetings! I have a few items I'm looking to sell, please PM me if interested in items not on ebay. Lady "Dead" Justice Nightmare Edition - Gencon Exclusive - Ebay
  2. I was going through my gaming room, doing some late Spring Cleaning and found a box full of old Malifaux stuff, crews, GenCon exclusinves, etc. (we stopped playing early in 2e). I was able to find most of them on ebay or online to get an idea of current value, but I couldnt find anything for this box. Anyone know what its worth? Ill be putting some items on ebay. Here is the link to some Pawns i found: https://www.ebay.com/itm/324256455779 Cheers! JC
  3. Good evening. Ive been scouring the books and forum for these and can't seem to find the answers to the few thins hat came up during my game today. in regards to blast markers (came from the freikorp flamethrower): what happens if the blast hits a model in melee? Does it all models in melee or only the one the marker touches. Second: when multiple blast markers are played, sold two of them cross the same models base, is that model hit twice? thanks! JC
  4. Can you add me as well? Frisco/plano area in Texas
  5. +1 I put the tallest one in the middle of a 30mm base and use it as a voodoo doll. After all thats what they are, right?
  6. If anyone has a hooded rider and is interested in selling him, please PM me. Thanks JC
  7. Yes, The tournament is fixed shared strategies. This is the Adepticon Team Tournament. As for the rules, its 50ss (25 per person), Fixed Crews w/ brawl compatible masters, separate fate decks, all schemes are unique. My team mate is going to play Von Schill for sure, so any changes will need to be on my side of the pile. Thanks!
  8. Greetings. I wanted to post what we think we might run for an upcoming team tournament. This will be our first Malifaux tourney and we are still pretty much newbies to the game, having only a handful of games under our belt at this point. Our experience with many of the masters (mainly Ressers and Arcanists) are only what we have read here or heard on podcasts. I play neverborn and my teammate is a big fan of Von Schill, so we were thinking about running the following.: Von Schill -- 3 Pool Freikorpmann [4ss] Freikorpmann [4ss] Freikorps Librarian [7ss] Freikorps Specialist [5ss] Freikorps Trapper [6ss] Zoraida, the Hag -- 5 Pool Voodoo Doll - Summoned Doppelganger [8ss] Stitched Together [5ss] Teddy [9ss] Terror Tot Nephilim [3ss] I would appreciate any comments or criticism as well as any suggestions. I have near all of the Neverborn faction models and most of the Outcasts, so replacing any of them would not be to tough. Sidebar: When using puppet war minis in Malifaux games, I am guessing you would put them on the appropriate base for the model? ie: Teddy, Mature Neph, etc..?
  9. We grew tired of using the tokens that came with the game very quickly. I'd have to say that they are the only part of the package I didn't care for. Just too flimsy. We have been using nice clay poker chips, and writing on them with dry erase markers when needed.
  10. I'm completely blown away and inspired. Thank you for taking the time and effort it took to share this with us. One question, if I may. Do you have a schematic, plan or construction instruction for the board frame? I love the idea of it breaking down for storage. It looks so much easier than what I have attempted in the past. Cheers! Amazing work!
  11. This came up last night (late) and we weren't able to find it in the book, most likely due to the mixture of late night, incredibly small print on the cards, and possibly the scotch. Playing Pandora vs Perdita and some of the duel intricacies caused some confusion. Here are the questions I can remember: 1. From what we could figure out, "The Box Opens" nullifies Perdita's "immune to influence". But does "see the Unseen" cancel Pandora's "Expose Fears" WP duel requirement? 2. Say you are spending multiple actions to shoot at a model that has a duel associated with targeting it (expose fears for example). If you win the duel, and shoot the model, do you have to do the WP duel for following shots? There was another one but its all a bit fuzzy. Any help clarifying these would be great. We are only about 6 games into Malifaux and we always seem to come up with at least one oddball rules question. Cheers. JC

  14. Howdy from North Texas! Much like other folks, I'm sure, I got into gaming with the red box D&D in the mid 80's. My first miniature wargame was 40k in 1987 or so. Pretty much stuck with 40k, WFB and Blood Bowl through High School. I completely lost touch with gaming while attending college and it wasn't until around 01 or so that I got back into it. After dabbling with WFB and 40k, I found that the game really didn't excite me anymore. I love the fluff, but it didn't drive me to play the game. I still play blood bowl in a local league and BB will always be very close to my heart. I instantly fell in love with the idea and fluff of Malifaux when I first heard about it on the D6G Gencon podcast in August 09. The world is so rich and the folks at Wyrd seem to really have a handle on what they are doing. I've lurked for a while as well and the community seems to be friendly and knowledgeable. I have owned the first book for over a year and got book two and the manual when they were released. I currently own and am painting several crews. I'm finding it hard to stay focused. The mini's are so great, it's so hard not to grab a few new ones whenever I get a chance. I'm also finding myself taking much more time to paint them, which I really like. I am pretty new to actually "playing" the game Malifaux. I was able to play a quick demo at Adepticon this year, which was complete awesomesauce: Ms. Justice took me, and Lillith, out with one swing. The Henchman explained "it's ok you'll survive this turn, at least" just before my best friend flipped the red joker and a 12 for damage. I cant remember the henchman's name, but it was a great demo. I have only played a few times since. Mostly just trying to get the rules down. I'd love to play more, but am finding it hard to locate and catch up with a group that plays regularly near me. I'm the proud father of two boys (6 and 4) which keep me pretty busy. I have a few other hobbies that also keep me away from the painting/gaming table including Golf, Hunting (bow, rifle, shotgun), IDPA/USPSA (competitive pistol shooting), Competitive Brewing, and the ever popular and addictive outdoor game "Cornhole". Looking forward to being part of the community. Cheers! JC
