Great advice all. I think I'm definitely leaning towards the Som'er lead crew. I love the pigs!

Hey all! So I'm a hardcore neverborn player. I picked up lilith box set first, then collodi, then z. Love neverborn. Lately though it seems as I've been bit by the gremlin bug. Bad. Skimmed through the fluff and I'm just loving the idea of a horde of crazy exploding pigs being driven by a wave of green nasties. Now I'm left with a decision. I know I will have to buy a bunch of models if I pick up Som'er box. And Ophelia seems like a good choice as her box is full of goodies from the get go. Can all you experienced bayou swashbucklers suggest a box, and why, and what models to pick up for those boxes first?

This sounds like a lot of fun to me! I would be willing to give it a go except I have neither kade nor teddy. Nobody at my LGS is opposed to proxies though, so I'm sure I will be able to give this a try and provide some feedback.

Imho Kaeris box is worth it. The gunsmiths are an awesome model with a plethora of useful abilities. Not to mention she makes a swell addition to a Raspy led crew.

I've had similar troubles with the search festure as well. Maybe it just doesn't like us?

Hi Iron. Good question. Both models are very good. Personally I would take teddy in a Zoraida / Collodi crew. Not only is teddy two SS cheaper, killjoy requires you to sacrifice a friendly model to put him on the board. Teddy has a slightly higher walk, and with flight can move around the board much easier. Also if you look at the stats, teddy is simply a much better minion. The only thing I could think of having a reason to take killjoy over teddy is that teddy is immune to influence and cannot be obeyed by Zoraida

I know I'm quite late to the party here, but this is some great stuff. I got a chuckle because Lelu reminded me of hulk! Love the hair addition on him too.

Welcome to the dark side! Enjoy NB and especially The Dreamer. Eventually things like placement and activation order will become second nature. He can have a steep learning curve for your first master, but very rewarding once you get the hang of it.

I have proxied avatar Lilith, only to find out her regular master form is much better. It's not to say avatar Lilith is horrible, but useful is so many more ways when not manifest.
