  1. I am currently selling all of my Malifaux stuff, a good chunk of which is still in blisters. As the forum doesn't seem to want to let me paste from word, the list of stuff for sale and prices are on my blog (http://gamingmonkee.blogspot.com/2013/11/selling-malifaux-stuff.html).
  2. I hope so too, the Malifaux community is a great thing to be a part of and I would really miss a lot of the people I've had the pleasure of meeting over the years. ---------- Post added at 01:09 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:53 PM ---------- If anyone has m1e questions they'd like us to answer in this episode just let us know (our "we answer anything" policy is still in play).
  3. He finally got back yesterday, recording is happening Friday. It may even be film with highlights going on YouTube for a bit of a peek into the madness.
  4. We haven't worked out what the future holds yet, SST may become a general gaming podcast or something. We'll also be keeping an eye on how m2e develops, we may pop back up in the malifaux scene depending on how things progress. Cheers for the feedback, is good to know that our efforts haven't gone unnoticed
  5. We'll be recording what is likely to be our last episode this week, at least as a Malifaux centric podcast. I know Cheated Fates and New Fairbank Radio have seen changes too with hosts of both resigning as henchmen (like myself). ---------- Post added at 09:16 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:07 PM ---------- The Malibros have put out a few episodes in the last couple of weeks, New Fairbank have too (not strictly speaking a Malifaux one but definitely worth a listen). The Bayou Broadcast are still on target to meet their usual 6 monthly release target too (pretty sure theirs is scheduling as Craig has had uni finals, etc).
  6. We've received some nice recorded segments from the guys at the Malifools and New Fairbank Radio (cheers guys!) and have a good number of text ones to read out too. As this is likely to be our last episode (at least as a Malifaux podcast), we'd like to get as many as possible involved. If anyone would like to record a short Skype bit before the main recording, I'd be happy to do that, just ping me an email to soulstonetrain@gmail.com.
  7. I might come, will let you know nearer the time.
  8. Watch it, you'll ruin my reputation saying things like that!
  9. While other podcasts are concentrating on the new shiny that is m2e, we want to do something a little bit different. We’d like to just take time to appreciate what first edition has given us over the last few years and we’d like as many of you to get involved as possible. What we’d like is to hear what your favourite thing about m1e has been, it can be a character/ability/moment, anything you want really. If you want to record your own short bit (that’d be awesome!), all we need is who you are and what your favourite thing/moment/whatever has been. The file format doesn’t matter (I can pretty much work with anything) and I can edit them too. Audacity is a good (and more importantly free) bit of recording software if you don’t already have something. Just email us your bit to soulstonetrain@gmail.com and we’ll use as many as we can. If you don’t want to record your own but still want to contribute just post the info here of email us at the address above and we’ll read them out. We’ll be recording the bulk of that episode on Friday June 14th (add at least a few days on top for editing) so we’ll be looking to get the episode out towards the end of next week.
  10. Alright guys, I know a lot of people can’t make the long trip down south for the GT this year so this would be a good alternative. Traditionally this is one of the bigger Malifaux events of the year and I’d like to try and continue that this year.
  11. Thanks for all the great feedback The standard of painting was higher than ever, I'm glad I didn't have to vote! The Doubles GT will most likely be at Garrison in November (the initial date booked clashed with another event) and I'm already drawing up plans for my first m2e event in the new year. ---------- Post added at 12:47 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:46 PM ---------- I limit my abuse to Twitter, it keeps it feeling more special that way

I'll check if I'm free for this but it should be doable.

Best painted mini went to Mike Marshall for his Snowstorm. Mike Taylor's Papa Loco and Lee Battrick's Teddy also did well in the vote. The results have been uploaded to Rankings HQ, they should be applied on Friday when they update. Thanks to all that attended
  14. I'm in and to make it interesting, you can pick my master
  15. It was clearly a test to see who read the rules pack There's no painting requirement, there will be painting prizes on offer though.
  16. I've also spoken to various people via email and text and have determined that this is going to be staying as 3 rounds as per the original rules pack. Hope everyone has been working out your hiring pools. No need to pre-notify me of those, just scribe them down and bring them on the day.
  17. Army Painter uniform grey primer for me with a black wash over it before adding any other paint. Gives deep shadows and bright highlights, really helps pick out all of the details too.
  18. In the interest of fairness, I'm going to speak to as many entrants as possible before making the final decision. This will happen and be posted on here at lunch time tomorrow. Game sizes will not be changing. ---------- Post added at 08:10 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:09 PM ---------- Reminder to self, buy Dave's spoon.
  19. Alright guys, due to the number of entrants, I'm thinking of potentially making this 4 rounds instead of 3 but I'll let you guys (and gals) have the final say. Start and end times for the day would remain the same to accommodate the travellers, it'd basically be 4 rounds of 1:30 or 3 rounds of 1:45. Let me know your preferences and the majority will be what happens.
