  1. Yes, sorry.I've been terribly organised recently (not a reflection of how the event will run!). After Sunderland tomorrow I'll be focusing on this and getting EVERYTHING ironed out on Sunday.
  2. I'll hopefully have the full details finalised some point next week. Hopefully we can reach the stores capacity (16 players) for the last event.
  3. Hi, Sorry for the late reply. I'm the Henchman for Edinburgh (and surroundings at the minute). There's a fairly large player base in Edinburgh but no current regular meet-ups (aside from Tournaments every so often). I generally play in Games Hub as mentioned by the Badger, and would certainly be willing to meet up and play some games, and even show you the game if you haven't started yet. Feel free to PM me here or on the facebook group. Joe.
  4. Evening Faux-ks! This is one last shot loaded in to the wonderful Worlds at War store in Livingston before it closes. Prices etc. to be sorted out shortly but the event will be 3 rounds, 50ss on the 27th of Sept. Hope to see you there! Document finally uploaded! https://www.dropbox.com/s/8sm4nxh6bf22mal/Last%20Round%20in%20the%20Chamber.pdf?dl=0 Update 15/09/14: Alright, let's get this organised. Attendee/Interest list: 1. Greg Piskosz - Paid 2. Paul Campbell - Paid 3. Maria Wieland - Paid 4. Barry Kelly 5. David McGuire - Paid 6. Allan Gibb - Paid 7. Alastair Crowe - Paid 8. David Hamilton 9. Mark Bonatti 10. Dave Reekie - Paid 11. Meech Dallas - Paid 12. Murray Anderson 13. Jonny West - Paid 14. 15. 16. Maybe: David Robertson Liam Green Strats will be released this week now, scheme pools on the day. Cost will be £5 sent to opposingregrets@gmail.com by PayPal, those on the attendee list will have until the 20th to guarantee their places by payment, after that it will go to a first come first served system. Hope to see you there.
  5. Proxies should be fine. I know I'll be using some if I use Ironsides
  6. It was a brilliant day. Would be more than happy to jump on the train for more days of gaming.
  7. I'm in the same boat as ProximoCoal: I don't drink myself but am definitely interested in this "socialising" that I've read about.
  8. Quick reminder about this again. Wednesday 21st from 6PM-ish. Hope to see people there!
  9. I've decided to go back to Marcus for this event. Might not have enough time to play with the Wave 2 goodies before next saturday, but I'll at least print off the cards and give them a look over on the train.
  10. So far we have around 6 attendees for Saturday's tournament, I'm hoping there'll be a few more last minute gamers.
  11. I would go with number 2. I wouldn't drop a 3 rounder so far, if at all. Maybe 95. The other modification would be more rounds and fewer players also being worth more - I.e. 24 players in 6 rounds should also be 100 for 1st.
  12. *There isn't more... sorry for the lies. HELLO! Lots of Malifaux to be enjoying in Edinburgh over the next few months. Firstly there is a weekly league starting at Games Hub Edinburgh supported by 6s2Hit. This is a Skirmish Games league but there will be a large malifaux proportion of those skirmish games. This league starts Thursday 24/04/13 and will continue for the next few months, Games (and demos) will be available for anyone interested in the World of Wyrd! Secondly Compulsion (one of Scotland’s largest gaming conventions) held on the 26th and 27th of April will have demos for various games available at the 6s2Hit stall. I'll be on hand to provide demos for Malifaux, Puppet Wars and Showdown: Icons. Thirdly! On the 3rd May there will be a 40ss fixed master tournament held in Games Hub Edinburgh with prize support from 6s2Hit. Entry is £10 including a drink and a sandwich for lunch. Round 1 will be aiming to start at 10:30 with three 1hr 45 rounds. Lunch should be at 12:30 with the day finishing at 5:30 all things going well. Awards will be for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Best painted crew and Wooden Spoon. Hope to see you there!
  13. Last minute reminder! Demos are tonight will be running from around 5pm until late.
  14. I'll be there for sure! - Joe Taylor.
  15. Aye, I don't want anything changed. It's why I stayed in Stirling last year - much easier for games.
  16. Its a bigger problem on Sundays. I think the earliest train from Edinburgh arrives at 10:30. CGG is only a 10 minute walk at most from the station so you should be fine with that train.
  17. Thanks to everyone who turned up! Going to be repeating this for a few more months The third Wednesday in every month will hopefully be a Wyrd Wednsday - Demos available from around 6:15pm. The next dates are: 16th April 21st May Hope to see you there!
  18. Bumping back to page 1. I'll be bringing along a selection of crews for people who do not yet own anything. So ANYONE with interest should turn up. Hope to see you there!
  19. Erm.... I'll upload them soon.... I've at least made the progress of moving them from the Camera to the Computer. STAGE ONE COMPLETE!
  20. I'm so looking forward to this now. Hoping to make it to 10 games over the weekend this time
  21. Final positions below. Extremely close at the top, a win on table 1 or by mr Hamilton on table 2 would have changed the top 5 by a fair amount! Best painted went to Connor Barker. Spell Slingin (most Ca Kills) went to Andy Maak using huggy (who could have guessed...), Brawlin Brute went to Paul Campbell with a mighty 15 Ml kills, a large portion of which was my own crew... Sharp Shootin went to Steven Clarke, who I saw with two gunslingers and von schill in round 1. Photos from the event will be uploaded soon... likely tomorrow.
