Card Empire's Malifaux Group will be hosting a 30 Soulstone Gaining Ground Tournament at Central Connecticut State University on Wed, April 16th. Where: Carroll Residence Hall, CCSU. 1615 Stanley Street, New Britain, CT 06050 When: Wednesday, April 16th at 7PM. 30 Soulstones, fixed faction. 75 minute rounds + 15 minute for setup. Strategies and Deployment will follow the current Gaining Grounds document, Schemes for each round to be announced at the start of each round. Questions please let me know!

Chances to win the new rule book and Arsenal Packs can be earned throughout participation in the league! Any questions please let me know! Please see the rules below: Unlikely Alliance 2 vs 2 masters without faction restrictions, each master used by a single player, 30 Soulstones per master. Standard Encounter. 1) Define/Place Terrain = As per normal. 2) Determine Encounter Size = 30 SS per master on each side. 3) Announce Faction = Crews Predetermined. 4) Determine Deployment = See Table below. 5) Determine Strategies and Schemes = As per normal. 6) Hire and Reveal Crews = Crews predetermined. 7) Choose and Reveal Schemes = As per normal but each player may only chose one Scheme. Deploy Crews = As per normal. Deployment Table 1-4: Standard Deployment, Shared. 5-7: Flanked Deployment, Shared. 8-10: Corner Deployment , Shared. Extend to 14'' zone. 11-13: Corner Deployment, Adjacent. Teams on same side. Jokers: Corner Deployment, Opposite. Teams on opposing corners. Playing Notes - Each master has their own SSP and can not us teammates SSP. - Each master has their own initiative flips. - Players teams consider both masters crews as friendly. - Teams still have a 10 VP limit. Strategy VP is gathered collectively toward the standard of 4 VP per side. - There are no benefits to revealing your schemes to you teammate. You may only count your own makers toward your own Scheme. - Depending on Deployment, players can agree to re-flip for Strategies. *These rules are a work in progress and may be tweaked throughout the league.

Typical turnout at Card Empire is about 6-8 people but continues to grow, and I've just started the Time Machine events so I've yet to figure out their regular turnout.

Where: Card Empire, 634 Migeon Ave, Torrington CT 06790 (860) 618-5354 Entry Fee: $10 per event Prizes: (Based on number of players) Highest Number of Achievements and Door Prize The events are One Day Achievement Leagues, where you play as many games as possible in the time allotted, (25-35 ss) and try to earn as many achievements as possible! The person that has earned the most achievements each week wins a vote for a faction of their choice. This vote will earn the faction more of an official story pertaining to that faction!

She has to spend an ALL action, which basically makes her useless for a turn. That's what hurts so much.

This is fantastic news! Thanks very much for letting us know. I was getting worried, but this totally justifies my purchase of her now.

Currently painted two mosquitoes and based a Shikome. Probably going to finish off the rest of the piglets today as well. I love it when I get motivated, even if its for one or two models.
