Its a shame to miss you, try coming to C&T on tuesdays when the big group comes down or arrange a game for sundays. For some reason no one plays it on Thursdays as there tends to be alot of Fantasy or FOW going on at the moment. As for converted models on day one I will leave that to the comminity to decide. I would prefer to see people use any (suitable) models they like and actively encourage conversions. My gut instinct tells me it would be okay we all know that cannot be trusted :Confused_Puppet2:.

They sound a bit to fun for the first day. I have seen your Hamelin crew and they are all wyrd models arent they? Also Hamelin would be alot better in the high octain, high stakes world of gaining grounds. There might be an award for best Gremelin player this time.

There are always more slots we can sort out about 24 6'x4' at a push and we have alot of terrain. As for your third question, the subject of masters has not been decided yet but we might be playing fixed master and crews.

The tourny is not doubles either, that is two of your twenty questions. Eighteen left to work out the rules for this tourny.

Okay I can tell you guys with an estimated 55% accuracy that we will not be using rankings. We are not going to use the gaining grounds tourny pack this time round. In our follow up tourny we will be using gaining grounds so I guess we will thumb that one into rankings instead.

There is a gaming store just five minutes from the city centre called 'Cut & Thrust' where there is a growing Malifaux community which is an ideal place to get you into them game and meet some friendly new faces. I managed to get a a couple of games in and it is definatly fun! I really wish that the cheating aspect had of been implimented in a better way, the cheat tokens just seem totally random and boring and dont really add any more flavour to the game.

I had forgotten about Nekima. Im not sure to be honest, maybe just ignore it unless one of our players are interested. Can you think of any power combos of minions with use soulstone?

Hello Malifriends I am looking into running a new Malifaux League but wanted to try something a little different with it. The plan would be that players can take fixed crews but have no master instead they would be able to choose a 'Unique' or potentially 'Rare 1' minion and they gain the Henchman rule. You would then not be able to include any other unique minions in your gang. The idea is that you could take a crew led by Johan or Coppelius if you wanted. The idea for the rules would be that You have 10 soulstones to buy your henchman and whatever is left over becomes their henchman value. Eg: Henchman hooded rider Costs 8ss so you have 2ss left. So the Hooded rider becomes Henchman 2 We would run this as a map based campaign where your starting gang is very limited but as you capture new locations your hiring options would open up. We are also speculating about a Leveling up system for the leaders. Earning expierience from games and getting bonuses from stat increases to new traits to extra soulstones. Although this will be run reasonably light heartedly with the emphasis put on creating interesting crews led by your favorite minions. There is defiantly going to be the possibility of some game breaking combos. Some models gaining 'use soulstone' might become insanely good. Where other will remain very average. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
