  1. What happens if your opponent destroys the Ice Pillar you planted the evidence on?
  2. No rule negates specially severe terrain under bridges, but enough allow you to ignore movement restrictions due to severe terrain, which we don't want to happen if a model has to squeeze itself under a bridge or something similar.
  3. The way we play it: - only small based models can go through small doors, height doesn't matter - all models can go through large doors, height doesn't matter - a model can squeeze under a construction, but than it's movement is halved, we don't treat is as sever terrain cause some rules would negate that

    Pandora

Not every master needs an equal chance to win against Pandora (or any other master) coz Malifaux is not balanced on a master vs. master level. No doubt, Pandora can be a pain in the ass, but that's also true for other masters. But on the other hand, no master really dominates the tournament scene, also some of them are more likely to appear in the top 5 rankings than others. Pandora is not overrepresented in the tournament scene, there are a lot masters that see more table time than her. In my book, the main issue with Pandora is, that it's really hard to deal with her if you are new to Malifaux and don't really know how the game is played.
  5. Sry to necro but I've a related question: If targeting a spirit, ss damage from Self-Loathing, Self-Destruction or Unveil Guilt halved? I'm confused coz those spells have no damage code but they also don't provide strikes, they just use a weapons damage code to do damage.
  6. I might be wrong, but wouldn't it be possible to build a trap that is really hard to escape with a Hollows of Despair marker and an Insidious Madness? Put the HoD marker in place, move an Insidious Madness right into the middle of it and activate Psychopathic Episode. Now you can use a Lilitu to Lure some targets into contact with the HoD marker which forces them to win a WP -> 13 duel with a , most models should loose this duel and get burried. In the Resolve Effects Step, return the models but make sure that they still touch the HoD marker, so they have to make another WP -> 13 Duel as soon as they want to move. Next round, activate the Insidious Madness as soon as possible and use Induce Phobia and Psychopathic Madness, so each action of all models trapped in the HoD marker will force them to win a Terrifying -> 12 duel and, if they try to move, additionally a WP -> 13 duel with , that should be more than most models can handle. If this works, you can use Lilitu to collect more and more models in your trap and as long as you win the initiative flip, almost no model should be able to escape. Just make sure to not lure in models that can easily kill a Df 6 Insidious madness if you lose the initiative flip. The Insidious Madness is also rather save, cause attacks and spells would receive a due to the HoD marker.
  7. A dirty Pandora player uses a Doppelganger and some Woes to get 5 instances of Emotional Trauma. Then he activates Pandora, uses Pacify on Molly, who only has 1 Wd left and is within 12 inch of every model with Emotional Trauma. How do I resolve this? When exactly does Molly die? After all wounds are inflected or right after the first wound? Does Slow to Die only trigger once after all the wounds inflected by Emotional Trauma are resolved, or every time Molly has suffere enough wounds to die?
  8. Well, I'm German and I know the word "chap" due to my school English (6th grade IIRC). I don't know if C. Hoffman is an Englishmen or not, I don't recall if the fluff mentions where he was born. However, the historical person (or better, the characters this person used in his books, Hoffman is more like Spalanzani) he is based on was German. So, if "real life fluff" and Maulifaux fluff are somehow connected, this could explain why certain characters have a weird mode of speaking.
  9. For me, a soon as you use more entities of an unlimited model as it has different designs, it's spam.
  10. It's still important for things with object, e.g. the Effigies.
  11. Balance is important, but none of the answers above is the right way to deal with imbalance, there is no bog-standard way to solve balancing issues (unless they appear due to a lack in the mathematical system behind the game).
  12. You can find Blight Tokens in the Rules Manual on p.19.
  13. Since it doesn't say "+1 Wd" we treat it as an additional source of damage, therefore it won't be affected by Object. /edit Btw, it's Wd and not Dg.
  14. All Rats, that have not been activated this turn, within 4" of a Rat that activates are also activated. But it's also not unusual for Rats to activate 2-3 times per turn (cause the get killed and replaced by new ones). It's the way Blight Tokens work, if you suffer a Wd while you have a Blight Token you suffer an additional Wd. Theoretically Nix can also create one additional Rat per attack if he has Crows, but I'm not sure if that's a good idea.
